My boyfriend and I have been frequent diners for years despite the awkward layout and terrible service, but tonight was just too much. I worked in food service for years and always tend to be overly polite, even if the waitstaff isnt, and I pretty much let you get away with murder because I know how soul-sucking those jobs are. Tonight was the usual annoyed-to-take-your-order, no-eye-contact nonsense, and the wait was outrageous for a fairly empty dining room with servers standing behind the bar. Towards the end of our meal, my boyfriend found a long black hair in his chicken parm (for the record, neither of us have long black hair). We were basically done at this point and just wanted the check, which we didnt receive until after my boyfriend approached the counter after much more waiting, but that was the straw that broke the camels back. We came back for so many years because we wanted to support our neighborhood restaurants and the food is actually really fantastic. It saddens me to say we will no longer be dining here. I hope someone will see the many staff reviews Ive seen and make the changes needed.

The staff was very inattentive. When we arrived, the restaurant was all but empty. We waited at the "Please wait to be seated" sign for 5-10 minutes while staff members walked around and paid no mind. I finally had to ask someone to seat us. The food selection is vast, and you can ask for a bar menu from next door (as they share a kitchen). You should expect food that is okay, but nothing memorable. More than anything it is the staff that ruined the experience for us. Our waiter was not around to refill drinks and when she delivered our soup, ranted about how she "cant stomach feta cheese", which was in the soup. The whole situation was off-putting and killed our appetite. There are certainly better places within 1-2 blocks for the money.

My boyfriend and I went there last night at about 9. There was 2 other tables not busy at all. The servers were friendly and nice. Our server was Conner, he always kept our water filled. We both got the wild mushroom and Italian sausage linguini and it was really good. It was a tad spicy which was a suprise. I ordered my mom a to go chicken parmesan, which she said was flavored well, the chicken was tender and the spaghetti was good. Since it was to go I think in the aluminium container made the bottom get a little crisp. But other than that we loved it there. We will be coming back

By far the most despicable filth Ive ever had the displeasure of eating. The three cheese macaroni tasted vaguely ripe and, get this, sweet, whereas my friends alfredo had the delectable aftertaste of bile. The vegetables that came along with my dish were clearly from a freezer bag. The pasta was overcooked and reminded me vaguely of Stouffers microwavable mac and cheese, which I honestly would have preferred to this waste of time and money. I look forward to the food poisoning which is unescapable and honestly wished we would have gone to the Noodles and Company up the street.

I went there with a few friends, they said the food is great. I got their spaghetti and meat balls. The rolls that came with it were stale and i still feel sick 12 hours after eating the pasta. The dessert that we got came to use cold, it was not meant to be cold, when we got it back it looked like it had been microwaved. I would not go there again.

Ive been religiously coming here for 15 years and the service and food has always been excellent. Not anymore..to come in and not even be acknowledged for 45 minutes...its time to either clean house and find customer service oriented staff or close your doors. Done with this place. Dont ever make me feel like Im a burden to your business

I had the sun dried tomato linguini with chicken and bland doesnt even begin to describe it. No flavor at all. Even eating the basil on its own didnt excite my taste buds. I would be very surprised if any of the ingredients were fresh. On the bright side our server Zoe was very pleasant and they have a decent beer/alcohol selection.

I love this place and the food but today, they have one server, 6 parties, one of which is a twelve top. The poor guy didnt have a chance. No water, no check in after our food came, couldnt even get his attention (I tried!) until I stood up like we were going to walk out. But he had probably 40 diners to take care of.

Its always a great experience hear the food Is great its mellow and the servers are awesome Jesse was our server tonight he did such a great job didnt have to ask for anything twice got everything done right the first time will be looking forward to seeing that kid again when we return until than enjoy

I live in sugarhouse and after the years of terrible service, employees with attitude and marginal food, I will not return. I believe that the owner doesnt care one bit about his customers or the reputation of the restaurant. Youd be better served to go somewhere else.

I wasnt too impressed. The pizza came out burned and crunchy. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and the only other customers that came in were sat right next to us. They had a small child and it made our date frustrating.

Fantastic food & great atmosphere. Located in the middle of the Sugarhouse area and close to shopping and theaters. The waiters are particularly friendly and efficient. Prices in line with the high quality of food. I loved it!

The food was awful. Lacked taste. Costly for what you received. Horrible waitress, she was unfriendly, couldnt remember the orders, refilled the drinks with the wrong soda, charged on the bill for stuff you dont have/order

Not the worst, but not the best either. That is to say, this place will not disappoint, but it wont impress either. Their pizzas are pretty good here. Hard to go wrong with them. I like the Buffalo Chicken personally.

Recommend their famous garlic burger. It was delicious. The only thing that topped the burger was the service we received from Ana. She was warm, friendly, and got our orders right. You cant beat service like that

The only waitress was super condescending and the food was average at a higher price point for a sit-down restaurant. I normally go out of my way to give a good tip, but this waitress just didnt earn it.

My car was booted in their parking lot. Rather than support me as a customer, they sided with Diamond Towing--then charged me $80 to take the boot off. Ill never return here.

The salads might seem expensive, but they are huge! And they definitely dont skip on the toppings! One of the best salads Ive had and I had enough leftover for 2 more meals!!
