Who are we kidding? This is a more expensive Planet Play without the video games. Same salad bar, same pasta bar, same basic pizza. The pasta bar has 6-7 sauces instead of Planet Plays 2, the pizza is marginally better, the salad bar is exactly the same. Pizza Pie Cafe has better tasting and more exotic pizzas, but doesnt have Planet Plays baked potato bar, nor their ice cream machine or chocolate chip cookies. Also drinks are not included; add the $1.79 cost for a drink to your basic $8.50 pizza buffet charge, and it costs more than Planet Plays basic $8.99 cost including drinks. I didnt have their pizza desserts, but was told they taste great, especially the apple cobbler thingey. Id recommend this place to: People with a lot of hungry kids. Everyone fills up for about two bucks less than Chuckarama.(No drinks). Id also recommend this place if you want to limit your spending because if you take them to Planet Play, the kids will whine six ways to Sunday until you spring for a few video game plays. Like all good Utah buffets, the soda dispenser includes Diet Dr Pepper. Ahhhhhhhh.

I dont know how they do it! Amazing prices for delicious pizza, pasta, and salad! They are able to accommodate large parties which is fantastic. The decor is fun to look at and I love the tvs they have so you can watch some great games while you eat. As far as the food goes, my personal favorite pizzas are chicken alfredo and BBQ chicken. They must have about 8-10 different sauces for your pasta and you can use them to dip your cheese bread and your pizzas in if you desire. Yum! Their dessert pizzas are delicious too! The oreo and the cookie dough pizzas are incredible! Here are a few tips for when you go. First, if you dine in, just get a small drink because its unlimited refills. Second, they will almost always make a special pizza for you if you just request! They quit making the Alfredo pizza for a while, so I would ask them and they were always happy to oblige. Lastly, please tip them before you leave. They work very hard to make sure your dirty old plates are cleared from your table to give you enough room to devour a 2nd and even a 3rd pizza at your table!

Multiple visits since reopening, poor quality, poor service. Usually our used plates sit on the table the entire time we are there. "Dessert Pizza of the month" was gone when we came in today, and after waiting 45 minutes for a new one, were told it would be at least half an hour for another. Over an hour? They often make fresh pizzas and set them behind old looking pizzas with a.slice or two left, letting the fresh get...less fresh. The service is just bad. They cant keep up with cleaning up, or keeping fresh food out. Theres always multiple dirty tables when we come in, making it difficult to tell where people have finished and left, or may still be sitting. We have tried to give this pla e chances, we like the salad bar usually. But after the last few months, we see these things are just the norm here.

I get text message coupons every week or so to go in here so its usually only about $5-6, definitely worth it. The last couple times I have come in, I had to look for a table for a few minutes because many had yet to be bused. I am always pleased with the salad bar, I love the different types of greens available and the large variety of fixins. The pizza is pretty good, about what youd expect for a buffet. Its best when they bring out a fresh pizza, not so great after it has been sitting for 20 minutes or so. One of the things Im saddest about is the new management getting rid of the fruit flavor dessert pizzas. They were all really tasty and now there are only cookie flavors and cinnamon sticks :( Before they advertised how many different ones they had and it was awesome.

Its hard to find a good and reasonably priced salad bar, nowadays, and that is what brings me back to Pizza Pie Cafe. I also like that they have pasta, and a good selection of sauce as well. Although they have some interesting pizza options (potato bacon!), including desserts, the pizza is not exceptional in any way. My biggest gripe about this particular location is that they seem to be understaffed most of the time. I always have to wait for a couple of minutes before someone is available to serve up the pasta. Either that, or the employees just need to be more attentive. My friend and I downloaded a "courtesy bell" app on our phones as a joke to get their attention!

I used to come to this location all the time before they built the one in West Jordan and never had any issues. Went back to this location and brought some new customers to try it out cause I love this place. The salad bar was not fresh, the lettuce was all brown and the pizza looked so super dry. Which has never ever been a issue before, everything has always been so fresh! I was highly disappointed and the fact that I happened to bring new people in with me and it was like that. Ill stick to the West Jordan location. Overall though, I love this place and Ive never had issues with the staff and I love your guys text program.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I live in Oregon where sadly, there are no Pizza Pie Cafes. :( So when I come to Utah to visit family, I HAVE to eat here at least twice! I really like the way they cook the pasta for you when you pick it out and I LOVE THE CARBONARA SAUCE! the salad bar has a great selection and the desserts are very delicious!! The gluten selection is a great idea!! I tasted my sisters gluten free pepperoni pizza and her cinnamon dessert pizza and they were really good! And they make the gluten free fresh to order.

My family and I enjoyed dining at the ft union restaurant in midvale utah, until they had changed management and employees. The restaurant is not as clean, it seems to take forever for an employee to come and pick up your plates. The manager that you have now working in this ft union store will not even help clear a table, help with clean up, etc etc like your last young manager you had last yr. Your company lost a great manager! Not to mention how fithy your new manager keeps the public restrooms!

Space is very cramped at this location, especially around the single-side access to the small pizza bar. Tables need way more attention from management. BBQ chicken pizza completely lacks BBQ sauce. Pizza of the month was not updated to the current months advertising. It was a churro pizza that did not entice us to go back for more. As always, quantity and variety outweigh quality. Coupons come often in the mail or their text message list. Dont go without one!

When I walked in i was not greeted the associate was all over the place cleaning goofing off and not really helping anyone just was worrying about themselves. The floor was a mess pizza toppings all over the place the tables were dirty also the employees eating ware they serve food. I would not go back I would say the pizza was good and has a great variety. However, the experience i had was not that great would not recommend this place to anyone.
