WOW! AMAZING STAFF! I was traveling for business and was told, if you go to SLC, you HAVE to see Temple Square. I wanted a quick bite before I roamed around the downtown area. I noticed the sandwich board outside boasting of the wine selection (4.75/5!). I grabbed a glass of wine and an appetizer and asked about what else there was to do around the area. I left to go explore the area. Thankfully there was nothing else that came even CLOSE to the offerings here, so I HAPPILY came back for a full entree and a few more glasses of vino. I thought I was finished, but I was having such a great conversation, I decided to order a dessert (and Port) as well. HIGHLY recommended! If Im back in SLC, Ill certainly return!

Nice wine selection, but a bit pretentious based on my first visit. Im more of a craft beer guy myself and they have a couple offerings...none of them very special. Service was slow and they werent even very busy. My wife ordered a flight of wine and I ordered a cocktail. My cocktail was empty for probably 15 minutes before the waiter finally came around and only because we got his attention and called him over. Then it was another 15 minutes before my flight arrived. Then the kitchen screwed up our order...so yeah, not the top of my list for places to go. The food we got was good, as was the winner and cocktail.

This was my first time at a wine bar, and I gotta say, it was pretty great! Showing up on St. Patricks made the place a bit empty, which was completely fine. Our server, I believe Dominick, was super chill a ND down to Earth. Our party of four was new to wine, and he gave great recommendations on what to try next, and came by and talked with us a bit every now and then. My party and myself are not from Utah, and probably wont be by ever again, but well never forget how great the experience was here (and Salt Lake City as well)!

Even on a busy night right outside the convention center, the atmosphere was very nice and laid back. The Sommelier was able to point us to wines we enjoyed. After describing the kind of Chardonnay I enjoyed he was even able to recommend one of my favorite Chardonnays that I had not even noticed on the menu. Just goes to show he was really paying attention and knew exactly what he was recommending. Very pleasant experience and I will be returning the next time I make it out to Salt Lake!

Been here two nights in a row. (Both nights of my business trip) Excellent food and drinks both nights. They serve small bites from their own kitchen plus the full menu from Cafe Molise (two doors down) - yay! I had an app from BTG and an entree from Cafe Molise both nights. All around yummy and fantastic with drinks. Extra thanks shout out to bar tenders Kelly and Mike for putting up with my boring lonely ass - Kelly two nights in a row. See you next year when work brings me again

Walked in on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm and was asked if I had a reservation. Its a bar.... who makes reservations for a bar? Especially one that has open seats at the bar? I was told it would be an hour to seat my wife and myself for a glass of wine sans food. It wasnt like my wife and I were dressed like proletariat insurrectionist or anything strange. Walked down the block to Hotel Monaco and got a bottle at The Vault with no wait.

The servers are extremely knowledgeable and you can order 2 or 5 oz of high end wine normally reserved for purchase by the bottle. This is due to their, what I assume to be argon dispensing system which keeps the wine stable while open. Also they serve small bites or the full menu from cafe molise, which is phenomenal Italian. This is a must when in SLC.

Fun little place to enjoy a wine flight. They have many flights to pick from and the staff is very friendly. I recommend reading at Cafe Molise (right next door) and heading here for an after dinner. Both places are owned and managed by the same person so if you love one place you will love the other.

We enjoyed our drinks, but that was about it. The atmosphere should have been laid back but the staff was short and not helpful. It was as if it was putting them out for us to ask for a drink. Maybe we just came on a bad night but we did not receive good service at all.

Its a wine bar. Classy. Not stuffy. Knowledgeable and personable staff. Good tunes on the stereo. Pleasantly dark lighting. Nice high ceilings, open floor plan (1 huge room), spacious and airy, decent seating. Good wines, not exorbitantly priced. I like going here.

Intimate wine bar in the heart of downtown walking distance from many attractions including the Salt Palace Convention Center and City Creek mall. The food (created by both BTG and Caffe Molise kitchens, $$) is excellent. Date night...CHECK.

Dominick was an amazing server. Gave fantastic recommendations on which wines. You can tell he enjoys wine just from the enthusiasm he showed and he was very friendly. Will definitely come again when I come visit Salt Lake again!

The wine selection is great, and the wines I tried were great. The 3 small plates I had were all perfectly prepared, the service was efficient and friendly, and ambience was warm--especially considering how open the space is.

Great atmosphere. Good selection of wine. Over priced though. And service isnt the fastest youve ever witnesses. But, you can order food from the italian place (Molisi) right next door and that place is really tasty.

Great noshing and sipping! I ate the wonderful pesto hummus and drank many delightful Italian reds on a Monday night! A really great set of wine flights appears to be offered. I enjoyed greatly, but not cheap!

They have an amazing selection of wines! Some arent sold at the state liquor stores. The servers are always very helpful in recommending things to try. The price is to be expected, and it is worth it.

Great selection and knowledgeable staff. They have a great By The Glass (hence BTG) selection and you can order different flights. The staff are happy to help with your selection and suggestions.

An oasis of fine wines on an island of surgarary soft drinks. Great food too courtesy of the restaurant next door. A treat for the traveler. Across from the Marriott in downtown SLC.

Excellent wine and appitizers. I was disapointed that they changed their menu recently, so their entires are hit or miss. For a night of wine and small plates this is a go to for me.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Enjoyed a lovely evening here with a friend, and we both thought the server made great recommendations of vegetarian food options.
