I have been coming to this restaurant for about 29 years. My husband even longer. We live in Southern Utah and so we only make it up twice a year. It has become a family tradition for my whole family. My kids love it and it is one of our favorite places to eat. This last week my family was totally treated so rudely by their staff, I do not know whether we will ever go back. We like to sit on the balcony but this time we were told there was not enough room. The family that came in 5 minutes after us was given the balcony. When we asked the waitress why they were given the balcony she told us that there party had to be separated. We were not given that option and the waitress acted really upset that we were bothering her with the question. We moved on and ordered our food but at that point should have left. We felt like totally unwanted. When we received our bill it included gratuity of 18%. I have never heard about having to pay a minimum gratuity for a party of 5. It was so disappointing to be treated badly and then forced to pay a gratuity on top of it all Worst customer service ever.

The Red Banjo is a place that you can go right after skiing and not have to change your clothes. As in you could just put your skis outside the door, get something to eat and then head for the slopes again. I think that is what drew our family to it seven years ago. It is a small quaint pizza place that offers other good food. The Red Banjo is the last place our whole family ate together. We stayed at a timeshare in Park City for a few days and our last meal together in Park City was at the Red Banjo. Two weeks after that my husband was diagnosed with cancer. One month after he had an operation to take out the cancer, and two days later he died of a blood clot. So once a year on my husbands birthday we try and go to the Red Banjo for lunch or dinner. The kids have grown and some live farther away, but we go and whoever can make it comes with me. Its not the fanciest place, but it will always be special to our family.

A small group of us ate here over the MLK weekend. We decided on the Red Banjo based upon reviews. However, we were very disappointed in the service and the pizza. On a Sunday night, they were out of just about everything. We were told we couldnt order this or that because of being out and we were told they were almost out of cheese so they were rationing it. We ordered garlic bread and when the server brought it to our table she apologized for it being burnt, set it down on the table, and then walked-off. We had to ask for garlic bread that wasnt burnt. To top it off, I ordered a glass of red wine, but was delievered a white. Unfortunately, the server really didnt seem to care. She never checked-in to see if our pizzas were good or if we needed anything else. Just our experience, but we will not be returning.

Bad experience!! Called to order for pick up and the trouble started there- told they were out of lettuce. Could live with that if that was all that was annoying. After a lengthy ordering process with a clueless guy I was told it would be ready in 45 minutes or so. Went to pick it up and stood by bar for 10 minutes with no one acknowledging me. Other people that were there to eat just left after no one would seat them or even speak to them. Another party waiting at bar said they had been trying to pay for their pick up order for 20 minutes. Finally got our food order and once home discovered they totally screwed up the order and the food was terrible. Our family ended up eating cereal for dinner. Don't bother going here.

What a nightmare! We went on a Saturday night, and it wasnt very busy. We were seated about the same time as a couple left because they had been there so long without having their order taken. We were there over an hour and 20 minutes and our server only came by to take our order and drop our food off. No refills, no update as to why our food took so long. The restrooms were FILTHY. We almost missed our tour because it took so long. And the kicker? One of our party had a FLY in the marinara sauce on the ravioli! Well, that did it for our party. We were comped for our food and left hungry. Will NEVER go back, and will tell everyone we know to stay far far away.

Best pizza I have had locally, wish I had been here earlier. Red Banjos pizza crust is amazing. The wait staff was very attentive from the moment we walked in. This is not a huge restaurant but it is very well laid out. The second floor terrace has a wonderful view of Main Street. On this visit we sat in the main dining room, which was very comfortable. Atmosphere is casual and the food is priced right. Red Banjo features several menu items not just pizza. Good selection of beers, wine, and great service. Highly recommend, particularly if you like non-thin crust Neapolitan pizza!

Terrible service - average pizza at best. I walked in and had to seat myself. One waiter was busy with the 3 other occupied tables, while another was just shuffling some dishes behind the counter/eating a salad at the bar. It took them 5 minutes to approach my table and ask what I wanted only to realize that I didnt have a menu yet. Beyond that you had to ask for everything twice, including water, silverware, napkins, boxes, the check, etc. Out of the few tables occupied on a fairly quiet weekday night, most had the same issue. Dont go!

Im really sad I came to park city to try The Red Banjo in Park City. I had seen it the day before it looked like a quaint fun place. My family walked in and stood at the hostess station for 20 min. It was 8:30pm We asked 3 different times to be seated instead a girl came out behind the bar and seated another couple that had just walked in off the street. I complained and no effort was made to seat us. We walked out and went across the street. In my opinion unfortunately The Red Banjo was not professionally run tonight.

We read some good reviews about this pizza place and thought it would be fun to give it a try. We arrived around 5:30 and waited almost an hour to get our pizza. During that time our waiter only came around to give us our drinks. I had to ask him to refill them when he came to take another tables order. When we finally did get our pizza, it was pretty good, so no complaints about the food. It just took way too long and no one seemed worried about us.

We have been going to Red Banjo for years and have absolutely loved their pizza it has always been my favorite since I was a kid. But Im not sure if ownership changed but we waited a good hour before we got our pizza which isnt a surprise especially if they are busy but the pizza we had today definitely was not the same it had no flavor to it at and we wouldve rather had a little caesars pizza. Very disappointed!!
