From the moment you walk in you know this place is going to be good. They have done a great job with the design a finishes to give the proper atmosphere. We tried a few different ramens both pork and chicken. The key to a great Ramen is in the broth, which they nailed. They spend over 8 hours preparing the broth daily in house. The flavors and deep and well developed which makes for a strong foundation for the rest of the dish. The noodles are true to a Japanese style and no matter if you like thick or thin they will be good. The other ingredients that are placed in the soup are also high quality. I was taken back a bit by the tenderness of the pork and how flavorful it was. We also ordered some pork pot stickers which were delicious. They had a slight burn to them and that added a nice crispy, smokey taste. Our waiter was there to answer our questions and help out. Overall it was a great dining experience and I will be going back soon for in my opinion some of the best Ramen in Utah.

Was super excited to try this place because Im a ramen junkie and because of that Im kinda picky about where I go. This place was great and exceeded my expectations. I tried the sprouting up ramen that had pork, egg, and fried bussel sprouts that added a nice crunch to the dish. I really like the broth it had a mix of fish and pork flavors that worked really nicely. The broth was just the right temp, hot but not too hot. My friend tried that tonkotsu black and was also pleased although he prefered the thick noodles over the thin when he got the $1 refill. In regards to apps, we ordered the crispy chicken and while tye skin was super crispy it was in desperate need of sauce and I definitely think its skip worthy. Overall I think this place is worth the hype and I look forward to coming back and trying their other items.

Today was my 5th time and it seems to impress me more and more each time. 11:30 lunch was an excellent time to come. They got me right in n out in about 35 minutes if youre trying to do lunch. The service was perfectly timed and accommodating offering helpful upgrades but not too pushy. Michelle posted up nearby and was attentive if I looked up or needed anything, but otherwise, gave me space. Reminiscent of what you would get at a fine dining establishment. I dont want to set the bar too high as I know they get extremely busy but Jinya hasnt failed to impress from the smiling and professional host, to the friendly server to the perfectly flavored ramen.

Im hesitant to write this review for two reasons. One I liked the experience but secondly I got food poisoning the next day so I am unaware if it was from my Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen bowl or not. The atmosphere is quaint and personal. I sat at the bar which was fine, however there was a staff member that awkwardly lurked over me the whole time we were there, I think he was new so he just didnt really have a place to be. As soon as I stood up he tried clearing our space but I was still putting on my coat and grabbing the leftovers. I did not like the feeling of being that rushed out by him. The Brussels sprout appetizer was amazing and highly recommend this dish.

Spicy Tempura Shrimp and Spicy Ramen are okay, everything else isnt very good. If you need seasoning sauce at the table maybe you should re-think the restaurant business. I ordered two different types of Ramen (Tonkatsu and Old Skool) both came with thin noodles, I ordered thick noodles the first time. After telling the waitress, (who was very nice) that my Sukiyaki Ramen wasnt very good. Noodles were under cooked, egg was still runny, meat was basically all fat (I understand pork is fatty but every piece was transparent). After eating the cashier insisted it was my fault and that I should have read the menu. In short, this place is gross.

Im afraid to leave a great review because I dont want Jinya to get too crowded :-) Great little place - the atmosphere and music was unexpected and fun. Service is quick and friendly. Ive been three times and recommend the Cha Cha Cha, especially if you love garlic. Plus, the pork chasu is fantastic. Ive also had the Carmelized Cauliflower and Brussel Sprouts Tempura, and both were delicious. Be aware, if you order a soda it will come in a can - Im guessing there is just no room for a soda fountain in the tiny building. Im looking forward to more trips to Jinya to try even more of their menu.

Depends on the day, but sometimes you have to wait a while to get in. Its a very small place (the building used to be a Starbucks), but I love what they have done with the interior. The whole place feels very hip, and the crowd only boosts that. Their ramen, rice bowls, and mochi are all delicious and fairly authentic (from what I understand). I will say that their stools are a bit uncomfortable, and its rough to be so crowded, but its usually worth it. They also recently received their liquor license so they can serve alcohol with their food, so that is an attractive development.

Super fun, up beat spot in Murray. Modern decor, kind of tight seating, but very comfy. Food options are great, have alot of deifferent rmen version from authentic-ish styles to more mainstream flavors. Has regular, veggie and I think vegan options too. Apps are tasty too. Had a few different dishes so far, but my favorite has been the old school ramen, reminds me of days back in Hawaii at Ezo Goku, so tasty! Serivce has alwasy been satisfactory to excellent, attentive and the place is small enough you can raise a hand up and someone will come over. A definite recommend.

Excellent, attentive service, wonderful food, and a lively atmosphere. The menus large and has plenty of options for ramen and small plates, as well as a handful of other entrees. The Cha Cha Cha and Tonkotsu Black ramen are both great choices if you love garlic, and their fried chicken thighs are some of the best in town. They have vegetarian options too. Unfortunately its a very small building, and at peak hours you can expect a 15-30 minute wait to be seated. Parking is limited and the lot is a bit awkward to access from southbound State Street.

A firm meh experience. The hip built into old Starbucks atmosphere and oontz oontz oontz soundtrack seems to be driving the price of a soso bowl of ramen up. The broths heavy on spice and noodles are nothing fancy. Far better ramen can be had elsewhere in town (koko kitchen downtown is exceptional for instance.) but if the hip date atmosphere appeals this isnt an awful choice. This is the kind of place I might eat at occasionally if I worked or lived next door. Not really worth travelling for.

Not a good place to go during lunch rush if you have social anxiety as you have to sit at the same table as strangers. Very long wait before the waiter came to greet us at the super cramped table, and then another long wait to receive our food. It is almost June and the patio is still not set up which would have provided more room for guests comfort. Our waiter changed 3x during our visit. The food was good though, not sure if they offer take out but if they do then we will do that next time.
