You know, it really has that mom and pop shop that you want from old tomball. My girlfriend brought me here about a week ago and I thought to myself, "Well Im gonna have to bring Pep Pep here" and I did. Pep Pep loved the coffee and he knows the zodiac killer. So I waited until night and hid behind the store until sunrise. As soon as the store opened I got my coffee. After the barista gave me my coffee he said, "Hey, man, why were you hiding behind the store?", to which I said nothing... I only stared. Then my girlfriend broke up with me for being too "ignorant and misogynistic. You just arent willing to change. Most of the time youre this really great guy whom I love spending time with. But sometimes you treat me like Im a pet. Ive tried to talk to you about it but you just dont listen. So, Im sorry, but I just cant do this anymore." And then, as she was leaving, I stood on my porch and watched her walk away. I called out to her one last time, "Come here! Come here!". She got in her car and started to cry when I threw a milk bone at her windshield.

It took me a few months to give Jane & John a chance. For some reason I expected cookies and bad coffee? Way wrong! Not only is this the hippest place in a 20 mile radius the food is seriously and delicately tasty. Everything you would hope to find in a cafe in Seattle or Philadelphia and then some. It seems to be the defacto hub for friendly interesting local people to enjoy a great breakfast sandwich, skillfully made cappuccino & conversation with others. We have been a handful of times. Cons are also Pros: limited space, community table and sofa seating (4 regular tables too). I am a local & I hope more unique and great foodie places open up in walking distance.

I debated even writing a review for this place but felt I owed it to the community. 3 STRIKES AND YOU ARE OUT!!! This was our first and ONLY visit. Living in this small community I have heard some good things about this new little shop. Our experience was not pleasant. 1. Dirty fingernails on the girl who took my money. 2. A sweat soaked shirt on the guy in back. 3. A very long hair wrapped around the pastry my girlfriend was about to eat. The staff seemed to be "overly" enthusiastic, kind of "in your face" with the smiles. It was a very loud environment, kids running around with no shoes on. All we wanted was a snack and a quiet moment. This was not what we got.

Delicious and awesome. I had a brown butter sugar cookie which was fantastic and magical. Im so glad hip businesses like this are starting to pop up on the far north burbs of Houston for all us non inner loop people who like nifty lil places. My only negative is that although it is handicapped accessible to get in, theres not really much room to get around once inside. I still love the place, its just the charm of an old building not being very large to accommodate wheelchairs easily. I wonthe hold it against them though.

Great and friendly service. I am from the Pacific Northwest I feel like I found my home away from home. The only thing that I feel they could inprove on. Is how they deliver your food when you order it. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating if they call your name and youre not inside someone should poke their head outside and let you know your food is ready. Thats a completely small fix and even if they dont fix that, the place is amazing and you all should check it out.

I really wanted to like this place. Its unique. Its local. Its everything I love! Except, the customer service is terrible. I have been there twice, just in case my first visit was a fluke. But it wasnt. The owner (who I will refer to as Jane) is consistently rude. She is not pleasant and even went out of her way, on my second visit, to be rude to me. It is also terribly overpriced & salty! I will not be wasting my money on this place again.

went to Anchor North concert night. The food is fantastic but the format is not easy to understand if youre a first timer. No one told us about picking up your food on the cooler. Finally someone brought it out to us. Also had a lot of difficulty getting the menu and pre ordering although we were told that we should. The pies are wonderful, the buns sublime and you have real chance to become a destination if you want too?

My first visit here was this Saturday morning and the line was all the way out the door. The man taking orders was telling people that they were out of many menu options. My friend and I decided to leave and try somewhere else after determining there was not only enough room to be served, but that we might not even get what we wanted - which was a drink and light snack after shopping. They definitely need more indoor space!

I love everything about this bakery! Its situated in the heart of Tomball and its a little house thats so inviting. When you first walk in youre greeted with the smell of freshly brewed coffee then your eyes immediately take in the fresh made pastries from pies to cakes to cookies. Everyone there is so friendly and my 2 year old loves their little sugar cookies! we will visit this place again! Love it!

One of the few places around that knows how to make a cappuccino, which is rare and a huge plus. That said, it will set you back almost $5. So you may have thought the "Dough" part of the name was in ref to the bakery items, but its equally plausible that it relates to the markup on food and drink items--even the markup has a markup. $3 for a Mexican coke?! $4 for iced tea...hmm.

Very small place, it wasnt very crowded when I got there so there was plenty of seating. The food was great. They really focus on the details all the way down to the homemade jelly. I didnt get any pie but they looked amazing. The coffee was very good. I had the biscuits and gravy and they are some if the best I have ever had.

First time, last time. 45 minutes of our lives my wife and I will never get back because they "lost" our ticket for the "Toast of the Day." The place isnt big enough to lose anything. Sorry Doughs, but your attention to patron service -- especially since I told them it was our first time there -- was an epic fail.

I absolutely loved this place. The wait was a bit long but I went there on a weekend. I heard about this through an audio blog and I just had to try it. My family and I had coffee, pastries and breakfast! The food was delicious and super fresh. It has a very humble feel and the people are very nice.

We arrived a few moments too late for lunch, but our kombucha, Oaxacan hot chocolate, and chocolate-dipped macaroon are delicious. I love the relaxed living room vibe and quirky grandmas furniture decor. A little oasis of off-beat in an otherwise pretty straight laced Texas town.
