Came in ordered Protein bowl beef sherwma bowl to go. I should of checked my meal before I left...got home and totally disappointed. Ive been coming here since they opened and quality has diminished. I have always ordered the beef shwerma bowl so I know exactly what it is and what I am getting. The meat was nothing but ground meat, it was left over pieces of cutting the beef shwerma. Every time that I have ordered this they are diced size pieces about dime size equivalent. Going to call them and let them know how they disguised this by overloading on the garlic sauce they put on it so I would not be ale to tell by looking at it. It wasnt until I bit into the first two bites and thought I had the wrong order. But what they did was they decided to give me all the ground pieces since I ordered this for take out and knew that since I was NOT eating in the restaurant they could pull wool of my eyes. Nice try, if this was my first time here I probably wouldnt know the difference, but because Ive been coming here since they opened, Im no fool...sorry, wont be coming back.

Ordered food to go and my coworker picked it up during our lunch break. Opened the food and it was not the lamb we ordered (costs more for lamb), instead it was beef. The food was cold and hard like it had been sitting their for a while. They gave me no grilled veggies (usually you get onions and bell peppers) also the sauce they gave me was literally a tablespoon and the salad was brown. The only thing good was the rice. I wont be going back. I will go to Mina & Dimis since its close to work for our teams lunch hour, otherwise I prefer Jerusalem Grill.

Fantastic Hookah lounge with TVs that are typically playing non-American sports. Comfortable seats, enjoyable and awesome atmosphere, large hookahs for good prices, and friendly staff always ensuring you have what you need. Only minor complaint is that the music tends to be on the loud side, but still a very enjoyable experience. 4.7 stars! Only reason for .3 star deduction was music being a little too loud. Other than that (which I felt was a minor issue considering I was on my phone), fantastic place! Highly recommended!

The food was pretty good. I had the chicken Tika plate and brought leftovers home. My coworkers got gyros and they said they were a bit small, but tasted good. We went during lunch and it was about half full and the service could of been a little faster. Afterwards, we tried out the little coffee bar. Ive had Turkish coffee before and am not a fan at all, my coworkers ended up getting it and hated it. I had an Americano and it was ok, not the best.

Ive been in SA for only a week, Ive eaten here three times. Outstanding. When you are in the lobby, you can peer into the kitchen and see the huge amount of spices on the shelf, its pretty nice. At first I thought this place could really do without the hookah lounge, because the smell of the lounge creeps in despite being divided by a wall. Really though, if anything it adds to the place, and Ill probably come check that out one night.

Went on my sisters 5-star recommendation. The most chill place to smoke Ive ever been to! Marco is literally the best. He took the time to sit and talk with my friend and I, as it was still empty since we were really early. He made a mix that even my picky friend (who doesnt really like smoking shishe but went anyway since it was a birthday celebration for me) enjoyed!

A popular eatery for active duty Air Force from Lackland. Decent food but prices were actually pretty steep. I paid $14 for a rice and meat bowl. Staff was friendly but service slow as it was packed at lunch. We got there at 12 and I was late getting back to work by 1 because of delay in service. Having said all that I would still go back and give another shot.

Tripolis is a solid lunch spot near Lackland. They have a special goat cheese infused pita bread and a full coffee bar next door complete with pastries from Bakery Lorraine. Ive been here many times and never been disappointed; their service is friendly and prompt on top of great food options which would meet the needs of any dietary restriction.

Our friendly waiter explained a lot to us about the menu on our first visit. The rice bowls are their most popular dish, and with good cause - we tried both the chicken tikka kebab and gyro bowls and they were amazing! The restaurant entrance is actually under the yogurt store sign - the hookah bar entrance is under the "main" sign.

Food is always good but service usually leaves much to be desired. Used to get an amazing server but the last few times Ive gone it feels like you have to flag someone down just for refills or to order dessert. Make sure you go work plenty of time as food can take time to come out but the flavors are worth it!

Love this place! Protein bowl with lamb and beef kebab is the way to go. A plethora of amazing options to choose from if the protein bowl doesnt appeal to you. This place has very polite staff members and I have yet to have a bad experience with the food. Its usually a nice and quiet place to dine-in.

We need more places like these! Great food, great coffee. Wish they could deliver on base! My recommendations: lamb burger, protein salad/bowl and cafe arabia *a nice, sweet coffee*. If you get falafel- get extra sauce because they tend to be a bit on the dry side, but still ever so delicious.

I so miss this restaurant. The staff, the drinks, food....all great! My favorite dish was any type of rice bowl. Moved to Whiteman AFB and the one and only Mediterranean restaurant doesnt compare. Visit Tripolis and enjoy since I cant anymore . Taby

Fantastic food and superior customer service. If you are looking for mediocre Mediterranean cuisine, San Antonio has plenty of them. But if you are in the mood for amazing food to tantalize your taste buds, Tripoli Mediterranean is the place for you!

The tika shawarma was so good. The tzatziki sauce tasted good other than being slightly on the salty side and the chairs could be better. Good vibe, service, coffee and fast service. Overall, a good chill spot to get something not so "Texas."

Lots of unque mediterranean options, and not too expensive. Right outside of Lackland, so a great lunch option for those working on base. Unfortunately it is in a strip mall building. But the interior is nice, and the food is quite good.

For an excellent change of pace, try this peaceful, laidback atmosphere with soothing Mediterranean sounds. The food was very good, and the staff was attentive and polite! Try the Greek salad, rice bowls or Chicken tikka kebab!

Great food and excellent coffee. Very cozy and relaxed atmosphere here. Will likely become a regular. Had the ethopian blend which she freshly brewed for me. The protein bowl was perfect for someone macro minded.

I am huge fan of mediterranean food. This place is by far one of the best. Its worth the drive. The gyros are amazing. A large dessert selection than most. I have been here several times and never disappointed.
