This place is HORRIBLE very slow service even that place had only 4 tables including ours. Food took forever and the taste was terrible.The waitress never gave us the silverware, after an hour there and with our salads in the table I had to get the silverware myself. After all the bad service and the company of big roaches on the floor we got the check with a 18% gratitude included. I told her I was going to put a bad review for the restaurant and she just smile and said it was fine. Este lugar Es malisimo, no lo recomiendo. El servicio Es pesimo y la comida es terrible. El lugar solo tenia cuatro mesas incluida la Mia y tardaron muchisimo en atendernos. La mesera nunca nos llevo los cubiertos, ya con la ensalda en la mesa y sin tener con que comerla. Me toco levartarme a traer los cubiertos. Apesar del mal servicio y las cucarachas enorme a que habian en el piso me incluyeron el 18% de propina y solo le comente a la mesera que no Volvia y que le iba a dar una mala reseña al restaurante. Ella solo sonrio y dijo que estaba bien.

Just ate there. First off, it took 15 minutes for someone on the wait staff to come to our table. This would have not been such a big deal if the place was crowded, but it was no where near full. Our waitress only came to our table a total of 4 times in the 2 hrs we were there; to take our order, bring drinks, bring food and lastly bring the check. We asked for the check and had to wait 30 minutes for it. Lucky for her, a 18% tip is automatically added to your bill, or else she would have not receive anything. Now the food. I would recommend to just stick to the appetizers. Although not the best, they were much better than anything else we ate there. The entree food was NOT good. We were really disappointed. My parents ordered burgers and they were dry and had sat so long before brought to them the condiments socked through the bun, which fell apart when touched. My husband ordered a medium rare steak. It was OVER cooked. Very tough. My brother had nachoes which tatsed like they put a few slices of American cheese on it and microwaved it. I ate chicken wings (appetizer) and they were alright. My husband and my meal, plus our drinks (a beer & a sweet tea that was never refilled) was $57. Which was definitely not worth it. If you could I wouldnt recommend waisting your time and money on this place.

The "Strip" steak was tough and thin for the price. Flavor of the steak was substandard. You would have a better cut of meat going down to the locak HEB and buying packaged meat. The service was not up to par for the amount you will have to spend there. The cooks and most of the wait staff were more interested in socializing and playing with their phones than taking care of customers. I watched the cooks goofing off with a few of the girls there. The hostess looked like a version of Boy George.....she was rude and indifferent to the people around us, as well as my wife and myself. The drinks were bland and weak......my margarita during happy hour tasted like flat limeade I tried on several occasions to get the issues with the food and the drinks fixed, but my waitress was no where to be found........I waved at her to get her to come over whenever I spotted her, but she never made any attempt to take care of us. She was prompt with the check though. When I told her about my issues, she was not concerned and seemed more concerned on my payment method. I asked for the manager, but she said he/she was not available. (I dont remember if it was a he or she). IF YOU GO TO THIS RESTAURANT, MAKE SURE YOU STAY ON TOP OF YOUR ORDER. DONT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING. .

We went to San Antonio for my grand daughters 3rd b-day, wanted to have a good meal then turn in and get ready for our big day at sea world, they had a special, a beer and app for 6.99 my daughter had that and got the fried mushrooms they were not that bad. We all ordered steaks 2 ribeyes and 1 bacon wrapped filet. When they arrived my wifes was way over cooked mine was also but I kept it as I was hungry, the baked potato looked very old, my grand daughters hot dog must have been cooked 3 or 4 times as it was like a stick of caulk. My daughters steak tasted like it was spoiled and mine was on the verge, we asked our server about it, he got the manager who seemed like he heard this all the time, he did take the steaks of the bill but we were charged for the dog and teas and the beer and mushrooms. After all that, when we got to our room my grand daughter got sick, upon checking the milk they gave her was sour! We had taken it with us as it was already in a to-go cup. She was sick all night no one slept but we went to sea world anyway and she was a trooper with many stops at the many restrooms at sea world.

Very Disappointed! I expected more from this restaurant being that its on the Riverwalk and its name is Lonestar Cafe "Texas Steaks". Hmmm sounds great right? Sike! First we ordered the "balls" which our waiter said was awesome. We waited about 35-40 minutes for our food to come out. After he brought us our salads I asked him 10 minutes later about our balls. He said hed bring it right out. 5 minutes later he came to apologize that he didnt see it in the ticket and he must have forgotten to put it in. Okay I forgive you, no thanks dont put it in now; Ill end up having it after my entrée comes out. So, I ordered medium rare bacon wrapped filet and got medium well and the steaks werent that great either. Manager came by to check on us and after we shared our experience with him he said, "well if you come by again next time Ill get your appetizer!" Okay.... are you going to remember our faces? Because he didnt ask us for a name or give us a card of some sort. Gee thanks Mr. Manager. -_- Honestly, I had better juicy, flavorful steaks at Texas Roadhouse lol. Smh We will not be returning!

Apparently this establishment does not value the feedback of its patrons, considering their reviews have not changed much over the last 4 years. My husband and I were there 10/25/15 and we regret it. We were seated promptly but that was the only aspect of service that they can do. It took 10 minutes for our drinks, by someone who was not even our server. Then when our server showed up there was no "good evening," no "Im so-and-so, Ill be taking care of you," no "these are the specials we have tonight," it was "What do want". REALLY! As if being rude wasnt enough, we werent offered an appetizer, we werent given any silverware, and completely ignored. And after waiting at least 25 minutes if not more I left $8 on ther table to cover our drinks. And they should be grateful to get that. And by the way, they add 18% gratuity without even telling you. By far the worst dining experience Ive had and would never recommend this place or return. We got better service and from the reviews Ive seen, better food from Subway. Dont waste your time and money!
