Food was amazing my daughter order menudo and it was the bom...yo unos huevitos estrellados con bistek ..la mesera super amable.. we come from Dallas once a year and this is the first time I come to this place y me llebo un muy buen sabor en mi paladar...

I suggested this place to a friend of mine since we were in the area. We ordered the lunch plates and a sweet tea. First impression, the plates were super small, the rice was dry and hard. It seemed to have been re heated in a microwave. The "sweet tea"..more like semi sweet watered down. Not even mid way through our flavorless meal, my friend started complaining of pain and the feeling of a razor being stuck in her throat. She stood up panicky, grabbed a napkin and coughed out a long, thin, sharp bone (at least an inch and a half)

Food was great, had flavor, the tortillas were homemade from what I could tell, ordered chorizo with egg plate, and had green salsa the flavors were all there. Small little place, but totally worth it, prices are amazing for the area, for sure going to go back next time were in town.

Authentic Mexican food made right. This place is a definite hole in the wall, but has amazing food. We went there for breakfast on Monday we ate tacos, pancakes, and menudo. Hands down best tortillas and menudo Ive had since I was a little kid.

Was visiting San Antonio a couple of days for a little getaway and tried this cafe for breakfast the 1st day and ended up coming back the next day. Very good food at a very inexpensive price with friendly staff.

Cheap fare for downtown. Fast service. I had three breakfast tacos: Chorizo and Egg, Weenies and Egg, and Chicharron and Salsa. The salsas were rather bland and the best taco was the Chicharron and Salsa.

This place is cheap and good. You pay about as much as you would for a chipotle burrito, but for actual good Mexican food. The service has been a little spotty a couple times when Ive been there, though.
