At first I had given it 3 stars, but after checking receipt I noticed I got overcharged. So check your recites before handing over your cash. The food was honestly good, not amazing or anything like that, but good none the less. Service was ok at best. I had ceviche tostadas which in my opinion werent to generously served. My girlfriend had the fried fish, it was honestly lacking flavor. The shrimp cocktail we shared was pretty good. With some Mexican Cokes. It came out to 38 dollars. Which was a little steep but didnt think much at first. When we got home we saw, Yaz our waitress, had charged us for 4 Mexican Cokes instead of 2. El servicio estuvo más o menos. La comida estuvo buena no que decir la mejor que he probado, pero si estaba buena. Nos cobraron de más pero no hay pedo.

It wasnt bad but it wasnt that great either. I came all the way here because of the reviews and I dont think Ill be back. The food was lacking something special. The Michelota ($8.99 btw) was pretty gross. I love Micheladas and I love seafood, so this combination seemed like a good idea. Think of a seafood medley, cold, unseasoned, put on a stick with cucumbers and laid across a goblet. The seafood tasted old, not fresh at all! No part of it tasted good :( The waitress was Very nice, though. Another downside is the mariachi guys serenading other diners, because that place is Not big enough for you to be able to tune them out while youre trying to have a conversation.

This place has awful service terrible we were one of the few last customers there we are out of towners and went to meet some friends for dinner well my husband had to use the restroom when we were Iin the Parking lot and I told him better go before we head back and they wouldnt let him back in to use the restroom I was like you just walked out well they said they were closing but had two more customers inside eating I was so upset than when I called asking for a manger they kept giving me the run around I hope the owners see this because I for one will not recommend this place to no one because of there rude treatment

I cant lie, Im not an expert on Mexican seafood but I do know great food when I taste it! Ive been to El Siete Mares a few times and have tried a new dish each visit, never being disappointed! The Tilapia a lo Macho is a personal favorite with a tilapia filet covered in a creamy sauce with octopus and shrimp, served with rice and veggies, YUM! And the shrimp consume that comes out with every entree is delish (unless youre not a fan of cilantro, theres a lot of cilantro). All the staff is really pleasant and the "traveling mariachis" add an authentic feel to the restaurant. 5-stars for sure!

Awwwful. Dishwasher doesnt know how to wash dishes since their soup bowls were stained looked like they just rinse & reuse & I had to send my food back 2xs cause they couldnt get the order right & even on the third time it stiiill wasnt right & dont wait for the waitress to come refill ur tea u have to wave her down & maybe youll get one if shes paying attention. Never will I go there & then to find a ROACH crawling on the table.....that was the ultimate last straw. Sad to say that was the 1st & last time I go yo that place.

Got In at 8:30p.m . Didnt wait long for the table. But after 1 hour and 45 minutes later. Still no food. Kindly asked our waitess four our drink bill. She spoke to manager about the situation on the hold up on our food. He ran to the back in less than 1 minute a grand tray of food came out for us. Which we did not want afterall. With only 15 minutes to eat it. Since they closed at 11p.m. the staff was FLIPPING SOME chairs . The scent of dirty mop and pinesol filled the air . NEVER NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE.

This food is as good as it gets! Mexican Seafood restaurant is exactly what this is. Shrimp quesadillas, stuffed shrimp, ceviche, tres leches, and flan are some of favorites! I recently tried their new appetizer....TO DIE FOR (sorry, forgot what its called). Great portions for your money. You better believe youll leave satisfied. If my body didnt do a little thing like gain weight when I endulge, Id eat at this restaurant every weekend!

Great Mexican seafood. Got the 7 Mares ceviche.. definitely delicious. Got the Monday lunch special.. Filetes Rellenos. Fish fillets stuffed with shrimp, mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese. It came in a big foil pouch that had filled with steam while cooking. So it was a big foil pillow with delicious seafoody goodness inside. Cant wait to go back!

My favorite seafood place in the city! I love the special soup they serve as an appetizer! The shrimp and octopus cocktail is amazing, and my favorite thing on the menu are the Filletes Rellenos de Mariscos, fish fillets baked and stuffed with cheese, shrimp, bell peppers, onions, scallops, and octopus. Enough for 2 to split, it is so delicious!

I ordered the "7 mares ceviche" and I did not like it at all. The taste of olives very overwhelming. It appeared as if they used olive Juice instead of lemon juice. We also ordered "camarón a la diabla" and it was very bland. We wanted to venture out and heard mixed reviews about 7 mares. At least now I know not to go back.

Awesome dining! Loved the food, my kids were satisfied, prices ; not so bad since its seafood but happy it didnt left us broke. Ambiance was easygoing and of course the item that tied the knot was our server Alexa; she brought us complimentary chips, soup, and those salsas were so yummy. Her service was splendid.

Nasty Today visit this place and brought me an unpleasant experience , which was a little dirty because I came from work and was treated like a beggar i ask for restroom and the waiter told me , we dont have restroom , and when she look me in the table she told me, sorry i think then you are hommless

The food used to be better before when this older lady was in charge. Ordered basket of shrimps for my kid, he didnt like, I tried it, they were extremely small and dry, disgusting. The prices have increased waaay too much, they charge for refills now, we are a family of 3, the total $55:(

We had been coming to this place, because of the good flavor, but last two times the service and the food was awfully bad. We had to wait almost 20min for the drinks, and 45 minutes for the food, the shrimp taste like bleach and the fish was overcooked. Sorry, but are not coming back

I went for lunch and it was soo gross! The salsa smelled like cheese, ugh! Then as I was picking on my meal, I look up to see a roach walking on the wall in the next booth! I dont want to know how it looks in the kitchen!! I will never come back!
