It was a Sunday very busy. Cashier had awesome customer service very complimenting. Very busy with what looked like new employees (Sunday). We couldnt find a seat many of the open tables werent bussed. No problem blamed it on the day and found a seat. Walked to the salad bar and an employee steps in front of me and starts rearranging the tongs like there wasnt a line behind me and tables to be bussed. She took her sweet time. I had the feeling she was just wasting time until she absolutely had to get to her next task. Got to my seat started to eat and got a notification on my phone for a charge of $71.09... What!?!? My meal came to $17.09... Went to let cashier know. She told me there was nothing she could do without a receipt other than the one I had and my text about the charge. Was very upset. Went back to talk to her, she let me know the manager would help but was very busy. Which made me a little more upset. Walked around looking for my receipt even picking trash off the floor to find it. Manager noticed I was upset and took a very compassionate approach to the situation, letting me know he understood I was very angry. He let me cool down he was aware that I was steaming, watching me pace the restaurant, but knew at that point with a full restaurant that I needed a moment to get past the anger part of the situation. Approached me afterwards and rectified the problem with understanding. Even asked if I wanted the whole charge back. I declined wanting only the extra. A waitress came by to make sure I was ok. Talked to me for a quick second also reassuring me that the situation was understandable. Will definitely try a day other than Sunday, but for what the day was I say the waitstaff and manager were above and beyond. The food.....Not so much.

What you need to know before eating here: 1. Hard working people. I came during dinner time and customer service at the front and back. 2. Food servers, and cooks were all friendly, English speaking humble folk. 3. If your Koshur like me you do need to ask the cook to clean the board before preparing your steak as they also prepare on the same board pot pork roast. Most of the other foods you pick and add to your all you can eat tray were clearly described, no lard after checking with another gentleman at the back where they prepare and bring your drink to your table that you seat yourself at. Watch out for pork bits though next to jalapenos at salad bar and bacon in green beans. 4. Two comfortable dining areas to choose plenty of tables and food booths to seat, each with flat screen TVs streaming live news and / or sports. 5. Easy to get to restrooms at the front t entrance, mens restroom was clean and well maintained with two booths, urenil, and sink. Handicapped accessible. 6. Plenty of parking with ramps for easy access, one entrance only facing southwards so no problems with sunrise not sunset at this location.. Came for my birthday, sign up for their eclub and get a free buffet coupon, no catch. Otherwise very affordable all you can eat all day buffet complete with dessert pies, ice cream, and sweets. :) Also friendly family environment with specials for kids. Cons: Tricky to get into! You pretty much are at the mercy of I35 getting off going northwards, or coming from the back entrance coming from Gatti School Rd.

Weve been going there a few times, nothing exceptional. But todays experience for dinner around 7PM was the worst I have had in a restaurant in a long time. Baked potatoes had cooked for so long under their lamps that they were dark brown inside and disguting. We told the waitress who checked with her Manager. They took them out but told us it would be another hour to get fresh ones. Bacon in the salad bar was real, but looked like 2 days old. Not red anymore, more like yellowish brown color. Meat was completely dry (except for the loads of fatty tissue around it). Best came for dessert. We noticed that there was mold growing on their peach pie. When I mentionned it to a bus boy, he took that one piece away. Then the Manager came, tasted the stuff and decided it was bad and threw the whole shelf away. Finally, the chocolate pudding had a weird consistency. My friend tasted it and found it sour. We called the manager, told her about it. She didnt believe us at first, saying it was the normal taste for the sugar free pudding (which it wasnt the sugar free kind anyway). Then we insisted and she tasted it and also decided to throw it away. She barely apologized and didnt offer to comp anything. Now Im worried that I will get sick like so many other people reported. Im calling the health department.

Where do I even begin??!?!? Do I start with the greased up floor that you literally skate on like a new born deer trying to walk on a frozen pond? Do I segway into how the rolls are so hard you can use them for fast pitch softball? The pork chops that are essentially building materials. Macaroni and cheese is just yellow yuck. Mashed potatoes are so thin you could pass them through a syringe!! This is like ponderosa AFTER global thermal nuclear war, and you have to "make due" and cook what ever is left on the planet. Ive watched the workers prepare food, then get cups/glasses off of tables and go back to filling the chocolate pudding like nothing was wrong... Umm there is something wrong!! Pudding isnt supposed to be chunky!!! So come on down!! Enjoy hep c while you can!! Instead of sirloin stockade, they should call this place failure fence!

I thought Sirloin Stockade before its reopening was decent, but after the reopening, I was extremely surprised. Though the steaks were juicy and palatable as always, the food that didnt like before such as the macaroni and the meatloaf had improved in quality, having the right seasoning and the consistency in how they were cooked. I was also very pleased in how the reopening of the buffet introduced a variety of new food such as the pasta aisle and the large buffalo chicken(both that I find incredibly delicious). The service in the buffet have always been hospitable to my family and I since the first time we went to this place and still to this day, we had not a single problem with staff. Now this review, of course, might be viewed as opinionated. But I guarantee that going to Sirloin Stockade will not be a bad experience once you try the food.

I normally give this place a good rating. But this time everything was really bad. From the time i first got here everything was very rude. The host was rude didnt even make you feel welcome. Now to the food. Let see they put old food on top of new food. Waiters spills soda all over me. She slaps the top of my daughter drink and she knew that it was over the top of the lid and still slaps the top. Oh dont get me started on the food. It looks hot but in reality the food was cold. This place is just so jacked up. Like noone really cares about the customers. Dirty dishes that are suppose to be clean. All the floors are so disgusting. They need a health inspector to come out to this place. So if i was you i will not come here. I only come if the manager is here.
