We stop by this place every time we come to Port Aransas and love it, but today was a bad experience. The girl working obviously had problems outside of work that she was talking to about to another employee right infront of us. She was so impatient with us because she had to get back to the drama, it made me laugh because they have a sign in there that says "impatience is not on the menu, you are on island time now" They also didnt have toilet paper in womens restroom. I went the night before because their website states they close at midnight but they were closed. Its a shame we will not be going there again

Surprisingly nice atmosphere, nothing like its outside appearance, and everything looked so appetizing. Their menu is easy to read as well as artful. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. They offer a light lunch option like wraps and sandwiches as well as ice cream and coffees. I tasted the Oreo cheesecake and dark chocolate gelato. Oreo cheesecake is kinda bland. Tastes like cookies and cream ice cream but the dark chocolate is fantastic! Their espresso drinks and iced coffee were pleasant but their black coffee tasted a little off, didnt seem to be high quality beans.

A beautiful coffee shop in Port Aransas. I was nervous at first to try this place since I only buy blended coffee beverages from Starbucks. The Grasshopper drink changed my mind! The best blended coffee I have ever had in my life! During my stay, I visited this location 2-3 times a day for a coffee. If only there was a location in the Dallas area... (Mesquite, Tx) The coffee was amazing, the staff was incredibly nice, service was quick, and the location was very clean. I will be visiting when I make another trip to Port Aransas.

An interesting stop during our visit to Port Aransas. A coffee-nightclub type place which had live music not by a band but a mom and pop guitar duo! Nice, nostalgic and they encouraged folks to sing along. All while enjoying the atmosphere and drinking a caffeing drink! Nice! I would give it 5 stars but the wooden chairs are hard on my rear end. LOL

Stopped in with husband and adult daughter for gelato, after a busy day on the beach and boat ride. Friendly staff, tasty gelato. But stayed for 2hrs enjoying the couple( Coffee with the Browns) playing folksy music. The guy played guitar, banjo, mandolin. She played guitar. Good harmonizing.

Best Latte in the morning, Boars Head Deli Sandwiches for lunch and Gelato for tent time snack. I would not survive beach or hotel camping on Port Aransas without Wave Coffee! Thank you! The AC, WIFI, Reading Nooks, Restrooms and Atmosphere are perfect! See yall in the morning.

Found this place by accident last year when looking for a restaurant that was closed. We go here every evening when we stay in Port Aransas. It might take a little bit, especially when there is only one person working, but the coffee, hot chocolate, and gelato are great.

In desperate need of caffeine after our toddler kept us up all night while camping on the beach. We DEFINITELY owed our family coffee for that so I looked up coffee shops and this popped up. WOW. Awesome decor. Awesome coffee. Awesome muffins and coffee cake!

Terrific coffee house, locals type social setting, very friendly. You have to try some of the authentic gelato choices. Wide selection of drinks, sandwiches, pastries, and treats. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Art displays from local artists.

Not a coffee drinkers coffee shop, stick to the the foofy flavored stuff. I got the "shot in the dark" and it was slightly stronger than my grandmas Folgers. I will say very friendly...lets just work on the coffee...since it is in your name.

We were delighted to find this place! Very friendly people, fantastic food and drinks, and a great atmosphere. Nothing like it for many miles! I would recommend this to anyone and plan to visit again every time I am in Port Aransas.

LOVE Coffee Waves, Im from Rockport and the only coffee shop in Rockport is the worst. I will drive over to Port A just to sit in a real coffee shop and have excellent coffee. They also have great muffins and gelato options.

Best coffee drinks ever. Got a frozen sugar free vanilla coffee. Its made with Big Train coffee blend which is delicious. Th gellato variety is great. Same applies to the Coffee Waves on Alameda and in Flour Bluff.

Okay drinks as far as specialty coffee goes, but black coffee was not impressive. Price is what you would expect on an island so no complaints there but people were SO unfriendly. Definitely room for improvement.

Pretty good coffee shop. They have some snacks, gelato, and some nice couches to sit on. Local artwork on the walls and a very hip/modern feel to it. Very busy during peak time but they were quick even still
