Easily the most notable retailer in the entire Farmers Market and the grand opening gathered hundreds of people because the owner and its employees take a delicate pride in what they do and what they have been doing outside for years before their inside location was not just done but perfect to the last detail. Special care and extreme focus to detail to true authentic Italian pastries and coffees. The coffee is literally shipped in from Italy and the taste is intended to be no different than if you were in Florence. The pastries and food are nothing you will find anywhere else local and not a single corner was skipped to make the most delicious and authentic delight. The espresso is especially smooth along with their drip and pore over coffees. The grinds are roasted to the perfect amount where there is a bold flavor, not burnt, and extra caffeinated kick. If you want to try for real coffee then if you have not tried Palmieri Cafe then you have to try for yourself.

I was born and raised in Italy where I spent more than 30 years of my life. I am always looking for places that offer authentic Italian food. I have to be honest I have not found many. I have met Corrado at his shop and he greeted me. I admit its great to talk to a fellow Italian in my native language. The cappuccino and caffè are exactly what you would drink back home in Italy. I have only tried the paste besides the drinks and they are handmade. The taste is fantastic. It has been too long since the last time I had something THAT GOOD. I never had the pasticciotto salentino in Italy and I wanted to give it a shot. I did the same with the cannolo al cioccolato. The cannolo was great but the pasticciotto was just mindblowing. I cant recommend this place enough! If you want to have real Italian food please pay this place a visit.

Flight to Italy: €1000 Cappuccino: €1.20 Knowing that you can enjoy the true flavors of Italy at Palmieri Caffè right here in Dallas: Priceless! Seriously, this is the real deal. If you are looking to experience a real morning "colazione" (breakfast) or an afternoon snack.....you owe it to yourself to stop by Palmieri Caffè. If real authentic Italian style coffee, delicate Italian pastries (with vanilla or Chocolate cream fillings so exquisite your mouth wont know what hit it), savory freshly made calzones, smooth mouth watering gelato arent your thing, then you need to re-evaluate your life. Favorite must haves here: Cappuccino (always Hot even in 105 degree weather) and Pasticciotto with vanilla cream.

Since its opening a year ago I have been going to PALMIERI Cafe on a regular basis. Corrado and his staff are wonderful, friendly and always smile to customers even at busy times of the day. I am from the same city Corrado is from, and I guarantee that the pastry and all the food he makes together with his ice creams and coffees are absolutely authentic. They are also fresh and made from scratch, in the respect of Italian tradition. To me it is almost like going home. Sometimes the crowd is huge and the service is slow, and sometimes the food he makes finishis but this place is for sure worth visiting. Try it and it will be like being in southern, one of the most beautiful places on earth. :-)

Pastries and coffees equal the best in Sorrento! Visit here when you cant travel to Italy. Youll get a true Italian experience: the tastes, smells and sounds. Also, the owner, Corrado Palmieri, and his employees are a delight to meet. Corrado makes the pastries himself every day - they are all delicious!

Days begin beautifully here. Serving pour over coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and fresh baked pastries still warm from the oven are delicious as they are beautiful. The perfect place for a downtown breakfast meeting, with indoor or patio seating and ample self parking in the adjacent lot.

I have recently become somewhat of a "coffee snob" and I must say....WOW!! If youre looking for a change in youre daily routine, or just want to try something new, this is the place to go. The pour over coffee is absolutely the best I have had. Will recommend to everyone.

Located in the Dallas Farmers Market, a nice little Italian cafe with many options for various type of pastries, savories, and coffee based drinks. The calzone and cannoli were both delicious. Nothing mind blowing, but still worth checking out if youre in the area.

Great food, wonderful service. Then again, it was really disappointing to endure a grown man making a young girl cry because of a stupid review. Keep personnel business inside where its private we could hear you!!

A friend recommends this place so I took my family and went to see and OMG. Fabulous, authentic Italian food and drinks. I went to many Italian cafes & restaurants and this is by far the best one, hands down.

I tried the espresso and it was truly the best I have ever tasted. I live about 45 mins away but cant wait to go back. Next time I will try one of the delicious looking pastries along with it.

The pastries are good and the employees are nice, but this place is excruciatingly slow. Every. single. time. Some basic multitasking training would go a long way.
