I desperately wish to enjoy this restaurant, but they make it increasingly difficult! The menu is great, and the food is mostly great! But the wait staff is horrible. This is our third visit, our first visit was for lunch, the sandwich [the "Elevated Egg"] was awesome, but they brought the check with the food and never came back to check our drinks, or dessert, nothing! Second time, ordered the Bacado, it came out with no sour cream or toast. When we asked about it, the server said it didnt come with sour cream or toast, were looking at the menu, its right there! Today is Sunday morning after Church. We were expecting a wait, no big deal, but the staff was making the elderly people stand instead of clearing the benches and seating area of the receipts and menus that were piled on more than half of the seating in the wait area. all the while there were 8 to 10 tables open! They should have never been waiting that long in the first place. Then our Salmon Benedict, and side of toast finally arrived, after a table of six, a table of four, and a table of two, all received their food, and who were all seated after we ordered..... I really really wish to enjoy this restaurant.

11:15 on a Friday morning and the place was busy, but not full. Was seated promptly, and the waitress came soon to take the drink order. I ordered the Ham & Gruyere cheese omelette with yellow corn grits and a piece of thick, Texas Toast-sytle whole wheat grain bread. The food was well prepared and tasted good. The menu has many breakfast/brunch items, with a Healthy section. The ingredients are basic foods, such as eggs, potatoes, bacon & other meats, various veggies, and side items such as fruit. The preparation is, however, different than the usual fried eggs, crispy bacon, hashbrowns, and biscuits. (Biscuits and gravy are available, though.) Now that Ive been, I need to take the wife.

I was excited to hear that First Watch was coming to North Richland Hills as Ive had some great experiences with the chain in the past. My wife and I went Sunday morning, arguably one of the busiest times for these type of restaurants. The waitstaff seemed pressed due to the load of people and it took some time before our server found us. They were courteous and professional, if not timely. Unfortunately, the food took quite a bit longer to prepare compared to our previous experiences at other locations, but it arrived fresh and warm. The quality of the food was excellent. I believe that as the staff becomes familiar with the new menu, well see this location mature.

Food was meh. Nothing memorable or anything I would return over and over for. Met a friend here and we thought we would try it out since its new. The coffee was disappointing. The flavored creamers only did so much. Our waffles came out cold :( our server, Logan, was hustling around like she was in a rush, even though she didnt appear to have that many tables. The service couldve been better, we had to flag down another server for more creamer and water. Logan just seemed preoccupied. I mentioned it to the cashier and all I got was an "oh Im sorry for that." And she took my card and ran it. Guess they cant fix what they dont care to know is "broke."

I really enjoyed my breakfast! I had their Chickenchanga which is basically a smothered breakfast burrito with chicken, chorizo, avocado, and some veggies. It was delicious! It was sent with a small fruit cup and potatoes. I also really enjoyed their banana crunch pancake. Its a pretty large pancake so I was able to split it with my girl and still get my full of it. The menu here is pretty modern with plenty of healthy options with things like quinoa, kale, and fresh juices. But they still serve the classic style breakfast of begin and eggs. I definitely plan on going back

This place is ok. The waiter was not very good but the rest of the waitstaff really stepped in to make the experience decent. The food was acceptable but a little over priced for the quality. They are very proud of their multi-grain pancakes but, in my opinion, the ones at IHOP are far superior. They are also very proud of their multi-grain toast but, again I my opinion, the multi-grain bread at Costco is far superior.

The staff were friendly but it was just not wonderful. Our waitress didnt check on us often and took a long time to take our order. I got a banana granola pancake and an egg and bacon. It was just okay,I thought the pancake would be better considering that the waitress said it was one of their best. But it was quite flavorless and just a pancake. I might give it another shot soon.

Very tasty, healthy food. Personable service. Highly recommend the Summer menu, particularly the heirloom tomato and burrata cheese toast..the cheese comes in a round ball..I got excited and smashed it before I took the pic...very good!! The multigrain blueberry pancake is huge and delicious. Prices are reasonable.

I loved the blueberry pancake flavor was great I could have rated the butter by itself. Only complaint I had was the temp of the pancake my preference only. I like it smoking hot. My husband lived the waffle best breakfast ever! They did make it right on the pancake without asking. Our waitress Diamond was GREAT!!!

The wait staff was great but the food was okay. Had the traditional breakfast. The eggs were over cooked, the biscuit tasted old or it had set out to long, and the turkey sausage was ice cold. Nice atmosphere and they are certainly striving for a unique healthy meal experience but kinda falls short. Little pricey

Former eggs and I place. Good menu choices with healthy organic influence. Had classic egg Benedict. Really liked it. Seasoned potatoes were really good. Coffee was good too. Not too strong like most places. Good atmosphere, waiter very helpful, place was pretty busy. Will go again.

The hot chocolate was too watery. I this place with the menu from The Egg and I. This new menu has too many healthy stuff, too many weird chesses instead of sticking with the standard cheddar. I dont care for the Brioche bread for the french toast. This is Texas, use Texas Toast.

Weve visited twice and service can be disappointing at times; however, dont be afraid to get up and get things done. The food is great and filling and prices are what you would expect at other restaurant. Our wait times have not been long as others have commented on.

I love this place. Everything that Ive had here is fantastic. The AM Superfoods Bowl is a great vegetarian option, and the seasonal sandwiches are always delicious. The staff is reliably polite and helpful, and even on Sundays the wait isnt too long.

Very disappointed. Egg and I was much better. Waffle was cold and soggy. Pork sausage did not taste like sausage. Large breakfast plate did not include potatoes or grits. Had to order that as a side. I would recommend Old West instead.

Its definitely a breath of fresh air for breakfast/brunch. Not your typical menu. Fresh dishes fresh ingredients. Love their Kale tonic. Its part of their natural juice selection! P.S. There waffle is heavenly!
