I have had hideout burger 3 times. the burgers are yummy but the fries are always cold and i always get sick afterwards. the first 2 times were when i was pregnant so i thought that maybe that was why i was nauseated all day afterward. So, i gave it another try..way to greasy and again felt nauseated all day. The prices are way to high. you pay an average of 10 bucks for a meal or more. I think for this cost they should have waitstaff. Also, they have snobby, rude teenagers working in the front. they dont watch what they say in front of customers regardless if you have young children. Needless to say, if i want to pay this much i will go to chilis or something similar. burgers are cheaper and better and less greasy..also, you dont have to wait 40 minutes for your food and when u do get it u wont be sick. lose the grease, get some waitstaff or lose the grease and lower the price..also, please get rid of the snobby kids in the front...i dont care about what so and so wore and how fat she looked.

See, let me tell you about this place. Im going to break it down real simple for you. You pay entirely too much for what you get. I was in a group of four people, and we paid over 40 dollars for our tab. And, that was because two of the people shared a chicken strip meal. If we all had our own meal, it would have been around 50 bucks. Also, you have to wait so long for your food, and they dont even bring it to you. We waited about 30 minutes for our food. Once you finally get your food, it tastes really good. But, after you get done eating, you sort of wish you hadnt consumed it. The food leaves you with that unsettling "grease bomb" feeling in your gut. If you want a good burger, there are a lot of other places you can go that are more affordable and a lot less greasy. Im not ever eating there again.

The biggest problem here is that the teenagers that run the front end of the operation need more adult supervision and customer service training. The Hispanics working in the back wont say anything. The burgers themselves are pretty good. While "best burgers ever!" is pushing it, theyre definitely the best burgers south of town. Great fried pickles

The food has good flavors, and the decor matches the name. The prices are about the same as Whataburger, except I see a lot of grease. I can feel the grease on the ketchup bottles, and tables. I do like the fried pickles. I havent been there since the new owners bought the place, and I hope they made some improvements.

Wonderful had glorious food loved the service I Could Just Eat Them Up !!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT they need to clean there bathrooms I found a cockroach by the toilet and they were out of toilet paper................. Chief tobacco signing out!!!!!!!!!!!

Burger patties are fat here! I liked it, but my husband didnt as much. Their fountain drinks were practically all out or the syrup/soda ratio was wrong. There are many options for burgers and sides. The employees were nice, and the ambiance was fun. Id go again.

Very nice and helpful staff, delicious burgers and sweet potato fries were excellent. The kids meal was generous size and a surprise ice cream cone on the house capped off a great meal. My bun got pretty soggy but overall a good lunch experience.

The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. The food is cooked fresh and served nice and (very) hot. The burger was good, though I did find the flavor just a little plain (but not bad). I would go again.

Once again this place gave great service in a wonderful atmosphere. Our boys love the food and the staff is fantastic with kids. A true family place to go even on a Saturday night!! The fries are delicious.

Driving out of Dallas back to Austin on a cold rainy day and thought this place sounded great!! Only problem is their hours on Sunday are from 11-3 not 11-9 like the website and Google say. Lesson learned.

I had to go just to try the Ghost Burger. I was not hot enough...maybe next time I can ask for a double ghost: The fries were good...but maybe a seasoning mix could be made? I will go again. Bill

They have gone down hill!!! Yikes, since the new owners bought the place it has really gone to crap. The food is terrible and the decor is falling apart. Stay away unless you like to eat poop....

Great food. The ghost burger is a great challenge to anyone who enjoys spicy food. I dont normally like shakes, but I think their shakes are awesome. Great place to eat in Midlothian.
