We stood and waited to be helped for a long time. Then a lady came to the counter and told a teen who was sitting behind us on a couch that there was a customer, the teen sighed loudly and shuffled over to the counter to wait on us, she was extremely rude, we ending up just buying a cookie and it was hard and crusty! Will not be returning.

The Core is the friendliest restaurant/coffee shop ever. It is a comfortable, friendly environment and the workers are top notch; though they are volunteers they work their hearts out every day. The food and dessert is great and their new pizza menu is very good as well. If you happen to be in town, check it out!

I stumbled into this cafe after a long bike ride when a young boy on a scooter met me on the sidewalk and ushered me in. I was so happy to get a fantastic coffee, two brownies and two kolaches. I almost cried.

Absolutely wonderful, relaxing environment. We stopped here on the way back from a camping trip, and it really helped us unwind from all the gruelling hikes we had just done.
