And I hope it remains a secret, especially Sunday Breakfast. I seek out non-chain eateries in old downtown locations and The City Diner did not disappoint. The service was friendly, the place was clean and quite large for a diner. The food was excellent, hot, and the wait was about what youd expect. I agree with the other reviewers here, the menu has enough choices - - even for you low-carb folks, like me. I make a point to eat here every time Im in Longivew. Frankly, there are not too many other places to eat in Longview. I remember a line waiting to be seated one Sunday at Waffle House - -forget it, I said, lets go the City Diner. Not only did we seat ourselves right away, but had drinks and meal within 15 minutes. Our family is just as picky about where we eat as most - you wont be disappointed!

Clearly, over priced for the sorry quality of food. Really, $1.80 for one egg. Both my husband and I got stomach distress after having breakfast. Service, okay...but servers would not win any Miss Congeniality awards. We both agreed no more city diner for us. If we want to pay that price well go to Ihop, theyre probably cheaper. Hate giving a bad review but it is!

Nice small town diner. As a trucker I always ask the locals when Im delivering where to go, the guys unloading me here said they hadnt been there but heard it was good. Food was great, servers were nice. Prices were a little higher than the average place like this, but tolerable for the quality and service. Will be back if Im in the area again.

I love the girls that work there, my dad and I eat there once a week usually, and they know our orders by heart, down to the jelly we like and the way the eggs are done! Very good vibes every time we go, breakfast is always warm and perfect, and we spend less than $20 and are both full! I love this place! I recommend to everyone!

Great food and great service, had a special request for the cook and they delivered on target and the wait staff took care of the rest. When we travel we like the small diners, and diner quality food. We will be back, thanks .

Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. If the orange juice flavor didnt taste like it was from a powdered concentrate, I would have given 4 stars.
