I was in need of cupcakes in the shape of a roller skate for my daughters birthday party. A good friend recommended the Lovin Oven for this order. I am very picky and i was a little hesitant about using such a small company but I could not have been more wrong. I needed 75 cupcakes to make up this order and they were more than accommodating. The skate cake was a hit at the party and the cupcakes were so moist and the icing was delicious. I had several hard to please parents and kiddos rave about the cupcakes. I ended with a few left over so i took them home and they stayed moist and fresh for a solid week after the party. 5 big stars from me!!!!!

This place holds nostalgia for me because my mother and I have been going here for Saturday morning cookies since I was a kid and now bring my daughter. I used them for my wedding cake. Although nontraditional, my favorite is their Italian cream cake, so I had a two tier cake made with that for the base, chocolate for the top, cream cheese icing, and white and milk chocolate shavings. It was as pretty as it was delicious. Like with all food, some of their goods are better than others, but they will always be my go to for special events and Saturday mornings with my favorite girls.

To begin, their baked goods are decent at best. Many of their desserts are hit or miss. I tried a lemon bar from this proclaimed homestyle bakery but to be honest, you could get better at Albertsons. Despite my previous statement, Id still opt to support this local businesses if it werent for my biggest concern- my family and I particularly did not feel welcome. The older ladies behind the counter seemed extremely friendly to the customers who looked like them. When it was our turn to order, they seemed rather cold, short, and disinterested. Minorities, tread lightly.

The baked goods are okay. The service totally depends on the people who are there at any given moment so, the customer service can go from a B to an F on any given visit. My biggest concern is that as a Minority I dont always feel welcome, especially when the older ladies are working. The place gives bad vibes if you catch my drift. Will not be returning.

Absolutely the BEST bakery around, I drive from Venus, TX. to order cakes from Lovin Oven ! They did my wedding cake, my daughters 21st Birthday cake, and my grandsons baby shower cake. I will be heading that way this Saturday..... We are gonna be a Grandma and PaPaw again.. This time its a girl !!! Need a Shower Cake. See ya soon :)

I had a piece of the German Chocolate cake. It was okay. It was a box cake - definitely not made from scratch. However, the white chocolate lemon bar was to die for!! The other cookies and baked items I tried were okay. I would make the long drive again for the white chocolate lemon bars, Id just buy more than one.

This is THE place. Every single cake is delicious. The chocolate is to die for. We have been going there for years and it is always ready when promised and everyone is as nice as can be. If you want a fabulous treat that you can not get anywhere else go here.

I was debating on whether or not to give them 4 stars, I love the baked goods they offer but service isnt always that great, and I find it to be just a tab bit overpriced. But if you are looking something baked and sweet this is the place to go! ☺️

Im almost 40 years old and this place has been around since as long as I remember. It has to something special if it withstood the tornando twice in Lancaster Texas. The best bakery ever in life!!!! Italian cream is a favorite!!

My favorite bakery in the whole world. This place has plenty of history and great food to match. Ive never been treated badly there. The staff is always super friendly. The icing that they use is the only one that I eat.

Ive been a fan of the Lovin Oven since I was a child. A trip to the town square was never complete until we visited the bakery. My favorite items are the gingerbread and sugar cookies. Excellent food, excellent service!

WORST BAKERY EVER!!!! I purchased my daughters 1st birthday cake here and it was HORRIBLE!!!! I bought extra cupcakes and cookies and they were HORRIBLE as well!!! I will NEVER EVER do business with them again!!!
