I do not understand the good reviews about this place. The husband and I arrived 40 min before closing to be greeted by 3 workers. One was loudly commenting and laughing to the other two within earshot of me if they could see “how fake could she be” by greeting me with a smile. It was extremely unprofessional but I was determined to not let it damper the evening and sat down to order. Once we were on the table, a server took longer than usual to greet us and take our order. When we finally did, we opted for nachos (steak and chicken) and a chicken quesadilla. While we are waiting for our food, a party of 6 walks-in and the workers are making loud comments, rolling their eyes because they have to work. Again, very unprofessional. Once our food arrived the steak was rare and the chicken was cold. The steak in the nachos was so rare it actually looked completely strawberry red through-out the pieces. At this point I tell the waitress I am leaving and that I am not interested in any food. I could see her showing the food to her boss and he shrugged it off like it was no big deal and kept walking. On our way out, they were laughing sarcastically with a “have a good night” like the ordeal amused them. I will never set foot at this place again. They have no concept of customer service, the food was a health hazard, and the behavior is what is to be expected from a place that does not belong in the service industry. The location at Westheimer puts this place to shame.

I love Mexican food and live really close to this location and couldnt wait to try it! My boyfriend, friend Cindy, and I went in yesterday around 3pm to give it a try! The place was pretty empty but thats cool with me! We sat at the bar and the bartender we was very nice but the only reason I am not giving a 5 star review is because I asked him for a drink menu and he didnt give it to me and acted like here was not one..... I ordered a margarita he recommended and it was good but had I seen the rather extensive drink menu I would have tried something else for sure! How ever the food was good... we all like the beef the best! I thought it was very well flavored but the brisket and carnitas where disappointing... I will be back to try those interesting cocktails for sure!

Los Cucos has put the deep fried avocado on the map. I love the variety of their menu. You find your Tex Mex favorites as well as some south of the border items as well. Some things I think they really excel at is their deep fried avocado, their enchilada sauce, and some of their seafood dishes are outstanding. While the area needs another Mexcian restaurant like Houston needs another hot day in the summer, the food is good. I wished the service was a little better. My experience is that their service isnt consistent. Sometimes you will get a good waiter, most of the time you wont. If their service was more consistent, and more attentive, I think this place would do much better than it does.

Bad management organizing seating for customers while waiting they had two groups that had called in but their reservation was either given away ir was not ready as mentioned. In my situation seating five appeared to be hard the best they did was a booth with a chair. The worst was a customer that walked in with his dog and was not asked to leave the dog outside until confirned he would be seated on the patio. This dog was not a service dog it was just a pup, i was expecting the stafd to say something but they never said a thing nor did the managers that walked passed 3 or 4 times. Now i am waiting for the food lets see how that goes.

Everyone was friendlyish, but the waiter, Filberto, was absent for most of our visit. Granted it was Cinco De Mayo, so it was busy. However, the table beside us with a different waitress was constantly checking on her table. After waiting 28 minutes for a drink, I said in a joking manner to the waiter that he was a magician which vanishes and that we should probably head to Chachis so we can get some drinks, he told me to go ahead. I had blown off his lack of being a decent waiter, but his attitude changed my whole vibe. Needless to say, I asked for my ticket to head elsewhere. ...and their fish was extremely over seasoned. :(

I dine here all the time. The service is usually excellent and the food is always delicious. Barry is the wonderful manger who makes sure that every visit is a pleasure.They are always welcoming whether I am there with just my husband, family, or with a group I belong to that can vary from 30 to nearly 200. My personal favorite is the Los Cucos Fajitas, and I have been known to stop in for their GREAT coffee, sopapaillas and did I mention their perfect frozen margaritas! Warning: The map does not show the correct location of Los Cucos XXI.

This location has always been great until the last few months. My husband and I eat here pretty often. The last 6-8 times we have been my food has been incorrect 50% of the time. One time a waiter even came back 15 minutes later to ask what I ordered because he couldnt read his own writing, then another time waited 45 minutes for our food. The manager actually offered free dessert today, we declined, yet nothing else was comped from our bill. Not sure I will be going back.

Not impressed. I catered a luncheon for 35 people today. Certain requests I had asked for to be ready were not. They did not have anyone ready to serve the buffet line and I explained we were on a tight time frame. Getting everyone a drink (Tea and Water) took over 20 minutes. Then they automatically added a 20% gratuity for 1 hour service. Im sorry that should have been my choice. $120 tip for 1 hour.... Just not impressed... Doubt I will book there again.

We come here very often as our college is right down the road. We came in today to have a quick lunch and our waitress was very rude and disintrested. We finished our meal and pay and as we head out the door we see a rat crawl into the dinning area through a hole in the wall. And a couple of steps away we see another rat, this one dead, in the grass. The thought of rats being inside the dinning area really grosses me out.

My husband and I werent even there for 5 minutes and we hadnt seen our waiter, no one came to get our drink order or anything. And to top it off we were halfway through the chips and salsa when I noticed a bug/cuccoon/finger looking thing in the chip basket!!!!! We ran out of there and did not look back, it was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. We will not be going back and I will be reporting them.

Love the food and drinks they serve! Always a great place to go with friends, however tonight I was able to see how management treated our waitress. He was disrespectful, rude, and did not seem to care about the customers experience. He made it seem like he was the authority when really he did nothing to help the restaurant. I felt sorry that she had to deal with such a douche bag of a manager. (JAMES)
