When you walk in the first thing you smell is the aroma of various roasted coffees being prepared. As you take in the many pieces of artwork throughout the cafe you make it to the counter you quickly realize that this place is LEGIT! Freshly baked goods which are prepared daily line the counter. I stopped in during the morning hours and there were multiple breakfast items available that will simply melt your heart. I particularly enjoyed the bacon croissant. Extremely flaky, and bacon that was cooked to the perfect level of crispy. Among the various coffee options, I opted for the "Latte for Work". YUM YUM YUM! 2 Expresso shots, Caramel, Chocolate, and made with love. It was divine. I sat amongst a few of the morning patrons and just had the greatest most relaxing experience. Light music in the background, the perfect amount of natural light, and great wifi. Totally check it out, its a great place off the beaten path of trendy.

Ive been checking out local coffee shops around Houston this week. This is one of my favorites so far, has a real homey and relaxed vibe with plenty of bright colors and natural lighting. Good atmosphere to get some work/research/studying done. Music is played just loud enough to be background noise and not be distracting. The outdoor patio is perfect for small get togethers and working outdoors if thats your thing. Staff is very friendly, and they have some interesting Signature coffees that suit a variety of tastes. Update: My coffee buzz wore off considerably earlier than im used to. Ill try getting a different drink next time but the coffee isnt too strong from whative experienced.

Ive been coming here for about a year now, and Im very happy with this place 98% of the time. The 2%? Well thats when I get distracted and forget the hours that Kaffiene is open and show up to a place thats closed. Ms. Gina and Chris are always friendly, and my coffee is always on point- I love the Snooze Button specialty drink they offer. Great place to sit and study, but I cant comment on the wifi because I just tether to my phone. All in all a great place, cake and other treats are good (homemade) and service is awesome. If you need a hot or iced cup of Kaffiene, this is your place to go.

Great place to catch up with a friend, get coffee, or read/get work done....if you are wanting a quiet place however, DO NOT go on a Friday. The music is literally blasting and the clientele on that day, for whatever reason, talks unreasonably loud. Also, if you dont want your clothes to smell like food, dont plan on staying for long. Twice Ive come and Ive reeked of something fried. Best cold brew with agave nectar EVER!

Phenomenal staff who really care about their customers and the community they work in, amazing coffee (the snooze button is my favorite indulgence), and a wonderful place to study and relax with a cup of coffee in hand. This place exudes warmth and heart and is honestly one of my favorite places in Houston. Check their hours (because Ive gone only to find it closed - my fault!) and go!

Been here 3 times with 3 separate guests and each time Ive enjoyed it, along with my guests. Its a cozy feel coffee shop with a friendly staff and amazing coffee! Wi-Fi is available upon your order and they have great snacks and small plates. I highly recommend this place for the experienced coffee drinker or the person that just wants a laid back office space to do some work.

I really didnt find this place great for studying or hanging out. It was completely empty on a Friday afternoon. (Not great for a coffee shop near a university) I got a cup of just black coffee which was alright but slightly overpriced. Its also in a subpar location on the corner of two busy roads in the middle of a neighborhood. I probably wont come back.

Just moved back into the neighborhood and discovered Kaffeine. Ive been 6 times in 2 weeks. My mother owned a small coffee stand, and their white mocha is the only one Ive had that compares to hers <3 Im glad theyre so close, but theyd be worth a drive. Sausage croissants and fresh juices are yum too!

If your grandmother was an eccentric and struck it rich in the vintage furniture market, this would be her coffee house. Lots of cute eclectic art and furniture. This is one of the more homey feeling coffee shops inside the loop, with good joe and padded seats. Would come again.

Excellemt atmosphere with an extremely courteous staff. I believe it was the owner who took my order, and she was beyond amazing. The Kappa Frappa was nice and strong and the Sock it 2Me Cake was good enough to make you slap your momma. This most definitely will be my new go-2 spot.

This place is like Harlem Roaring 20s black, great customer service, great atmosphere, my brain is starting to wrinkle. Loveeeeee the art, the wall on the right as you walk in just puts me at ease. There use of tech is darling. Its like its there, but you dont see it. Love it.

Kaffeine Coffee is more a home than a restaurant. You are treated like family. The food is delicious, the coffee excellent and a super friendly, clean, welcoming restaurant. I plan to return often. I highly recommend the breakfast croissant with the turkey sausage.

We are moving to the neighborhood and I was lucky to randomly try Kaffeine for a coffee and then lunch. What a great place. By the end of the visit, Gena the owner had introduced me to several new neighbors. Great service and food--Ill definitely be a regular.

Great place to grab a cup of coffee and just chill. The owner is very nice. This is way better then the cookie cutout franchise places popping up on every corner. (no names please) I love supporting local owned shops and Kaffeine is worth the visit.

I have been coming here regularly for about 3 years. Gina is amazing and remembers my drink when I come in. Its cozy and I love the fact that its Black owned. The wake up call and caramel lattes are my favorite. SO glad I stumbled upon it when I did.

I like this place. I like the eclectic art on the wall and the patio seating. Its not cheap but pricing seems fair. I saw a lot of desert options but wish they had some sandwiches being promoted because I was sure hungry at the time.

I really enjoyed my visit to this coffee shop. The owner is very sweet and friendly and her daughter (I presume) is a sweetheart. The food and coffee were great. I wish it were open a bit later but other than that great place to go.

Best croissant sandwich I ever had. Not kidding. So fresh, yummy and amazing taste! The cold special drinks are also recommended. I took the Sunny Daze and the special sandwich of the day
