its long time I wrote a bad review not on food but the treatment you get. If youre not a friend of the owner of this restaurant forget to come here. I ordered Tandoori Chicken full expecting a full chicken. when I asked about it, as he charged $21.65 for it, a high end restaurant price? He replied bluntly I should ask first. I felt like, If i would have orderd Dal here, I need to ask these guys whether they are doing tadka. Or learn first how to cook it and come here. My advice is if you are odering Dosa make sure you order chutney and sambar too, else you wont get it. If he would have told sorry instead of blaming on customer or his employees that would have been ok experience. I didnt go next level of argument because I know what you will get from a indian gawara(road side) lucky guy landed in Ameica end up in restaurant that makes profits.

I wouldnt give 1 star if thats an option. We went there for dinner and guess what we r the only one in the restaurant to eat on weekend. That scares me at first place. On top of that most of the items from menu are not available. Another surprise with food quality on simple panner Tika masala. Our hands got red color after eating curry. The worst good we ever tried in dallas/irving location. If they cant make panner Tika right then should close the door. Forget to mention no ac. It was so hot we ask them to start fan. Never ever go to this place. I would prefer to eat bread butter at home rather than eating here.

I have been here more than a few times since it is close to my work. I am not sure what all the bad reviews are about. It is definitely a "hole in the wall" and you may have be a little flexible with a few aspects of dining here, but I have NEVER had a bad experience here. The food is excellent. I do think that the vegetarian dishes are way better than the chicken and fish dishes, but I find that generally true of all Indian cuisine. If you are a chicken tandoori kind of person then this might not be a place for you. Stick to the Americanized cuisine served at major malls. FYI, I am not of Indian heritage.

I went there at around 10:30 for breakfast and literally came out when it was lunch at 11:40. I was made to wait all the while for just 2 entrées. I enquired about the order to person at the cashiers, and I realized thats when she actually let the kitchen staff know about it. All this said and done the food was not all that great and the chutney/sambar (dipping sauce) was way too spicy. I do not recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to pickup a quick meal for breakfast or people with low spice tolerance.

The food was absolutely terrible. It was extremely spicy, and made us sick. Every dish was packed with spice, and the Andhra chicken curry was downright nasty. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Its my go to place here in irving. They offer lots of varieties spanning from simple pastry to biryani. I particularly like their boneless chicken biryani.
