Came in tonight and sat down at a table. The place was about half full on the diner side. The waitress came right away and took our drink order. Then we didnt see her for about 30 minutes. The vague hope that food was coming held us to the table. That and every time a waitress passed us I got excited. Maybe now they will take our order. I almost walked out twice in this period but stayed because my wife insisted. Finally we were able to flag down the waitress and she took our order. Shrimp cocktail (peel and eat shrimp diner) with black beans and a salad for the lady and a mushroom Swiss burger. The black beans tasted gritty and bland with a confusingly spicy after taste. Aka not good. The salad tasted old. The shrimp was rubbery and over cooked. The onion rings were ok. The burger was eh. Not worth the wait. Seems like the only food theyre good at is fried. I got one coke out of the deal. No refills. In fact the waitress didnt even come to check on us. Again we had to waive her down for the check. After the request for the check, we waitress about 20 minutes for her to come back. 15 on to the wait Im having dreams of refills and basically any where else but here. I dont often leave no tip but I figure she gave as much service as a McDonalds cashier. So I tipped her the same. Bottom line, I wont be back.

Was great when we first came in, but slowly the service started to decline. Had to ask for water twice and then she noticed my cup low on water. She asked did I want more and I said yes . Took three times of asking to get my cup refilled. I have always like the food here but today the chicken was dry and it just didnt taste right so I sent it back. I watch a group of african americans come and sit down, they were told someone was sitting there. They went outside to sit, understandable. I watch two caucasian men walk in and sit at a table that was occupied by a gentleman who put the napkin inside his beer to let staff know he was still there. The waitress told the guy who was running the bar that someone was sitting there, but yet they were allowed sit at someone elses table. The gentleman came back 15 minutes later and the guys had ordered food. He had to pick his bottle up move somewhere else. That was disrepectful. That was a racist move, because the two men should have found somewhere else to sit like the other group. I dont know why things went wrong because last year it was packed but service was great during the super bowl. Thats the only reason we came back this year. I will not be coming back to this establishment. Horrible service and if you are not a regular you feel uncomfortable. #comenofrillsgrill

This is a fine hole in the wall place for "no frills" (nothing special) food if you want something quick and basic without the hassle (dining side). As a sports bar or drinking spot (bar side), it is hit or miss depending on the time of day you go. They dont have any specials for drinks at all, but the regular stuff on tap is usually cheap to begin with. The weekend bartender is pretty good, everyone else cant mix drinks well or is caught up chatting with their personal friends at the bar. The waitresses excluding the really short, tan girl are all good as well. As far as atmosphere, its kind of depressing in here. They just expanded, but its incredibly dark in here and you cant stay here longer than five minutes before you reek of smoke. Seriously, you will be washing your clothes and leaving your car windows open that night to air it out. All in all, mainly just a place to get a burger and beer with some friends and watch local sports. Not a place to take a date, bring coworkers, or spend too much time at. Would come in more often if the cheap owners would invest in some decent ventilation.

So my roommate and i went there to watch the dallas game last weekend cause we did not feel like sitting at home and watching it... i am 19 and my roommate is 18 so we have to go somewhere that is family oriented kinda... well we go in and its pack with people so we sit at this bar like thing in the back not at the actual bar.. we had a great seat great veiw of the tv to watch the game... we wanted to get something to drink so that we where not just sitting there watching the game... so my roommate goes up to ask the employees how we get a drink they tell him we have to move to a table on the other side to order anything... so we go to try and move over there but there are none availible... finally after a while one becomes availible so we sit down, we cant really see the tvs in there well and we just want drinks i order a virgin strawberry daq witch they charge me 4.00 to make virgin. then the waitress does not bring us our change for like 10 mins by the time we try to move back our sits are gone and i am so upset about the whole thing that we just leave.

We go to No Frills at least weekly if not more and love the place, staff, prices... BUT... More recently dogs are all over the place on the patio- some loose and under foot and tables of other guests; and some on leashes that are long enough to bother other guests. In fact one was laying on the table and at one point being brushed... On the table!!!. When we asked an owner of a leashed dog twice to please call it back from sitting at my wifes feet watching while we were eating, he gave her a hard time. Only reason I didnt address it with him was to make a scene and disrupt the other tables of 10-11 guests. We love and have dogs ourselves, and support service dogs and well-mannered dogs.... But please- get this under control! I am sure the dog owners are regular guests- But dont lose the other 14 people that were also trying to enjoy the evening. I hope management resolves this reasonably and quickly. Before too many other guests are affected, or even worse some bonehead complains to the Health Dept and screws it up for all of us.

This was my third and last visit here. Sat down for 15 mins and no one came to my table to take my order. Watched 2 guys walk in have a seat a was greeted immediately by the waitress. I was like ok I let that pass. Another customer walked in a was greeted immediately. Asked to speak to a manager and told her about the situation I then asked for the cooperate office or the owner phone number and she refused to give it. The waitress did like she didnt even see me sitting there even tho I was seated right across from the last customer that walked in the door. She claimed it wasnt a race issue because she have a black son in law and grandkids, but Im not trying to hear that.
