Ive been driving past Windy City Pizza in Atascocita for months now. I kept thinking that I should check it out, but I was worried that Id be disappointed. "It cant be real Chicago style pizza," I said to a friend at work who was asking about the establishment. "You cant get that kind of pizza in east Texas. Faggedaboudit." Wrong. If you live in the Humble/Atascocita area I want you to stop eating pizza from anywhere else. I mean it. Just stop. Its wrong. You have been fooled into thinking what you are eating is pizza. It is not. Windy City Pizza has the pizza you deserve. It IS authentic Chicago because the owners are authentic Chicagoans. It wont look like your typical get-it-now, carry-out/delivery pizza, so get over it. It will look like a flat bread bowl with spaghetti sauce piled on top, but underneath the expressive and explosively delicious sauce are layers of great natural ingredients covered with cheese (wonderful cheese!)- like Ginos in the real Windy City. It simply has to be experienced, and I feel sorry for the other pizza establishments around town, because they are going to take a serious hit when you and your friends start eating here and taking leftovers to work. I only have one negative thing to say about the place: When I asked if I could get my pie delivered last night the owner said "no" because they were short handed, but he admitted that they have been getting more busy and that he would need to hire more staff. Yeah, Kevin ya need to get on that. Now, buddy. However, I gladly returned thirty minutes later for my order. And Id do it again, and again, and again. Yes, Its that good. What are you waiting for?

What a joke. Service was horrible...the money handler cooks your food and waits on your table, while answering the phone and taking other orders...kind of hard to keep your hands clean if youre doing that much multi-tasking. Confusing menu via old school plastic letters...takes 20 minutes to figure out what the heck is offered and how to order it. Went at lunch time - I was the only person in the place - I shouldve known by the lack of business that something was wrong. Dumpy joint, bad pictures of food on the walls, TV was on soap operas w/ people making out in a bed (glad I didnt have my kids with me). Oh yeah, and they had NO fountain drinks (apparently their gas delivery was missing). Calzones have nothing in them but cheese - you have to build them at a high cost per ingredient - by the time you add meats & veggies youd have a $20 calzone. Definitely not authentic...any Chicago native would know to have at least four pre-built calzones (meats, cheese, vegetarian, and a good combo) on the menu @ less than $10. If not, youll have an empty restaurant, just like you do. Oh yeah, and order your supplies on time and have back-ups...no drinks with lunch is kind of a deal breaker! But then again, so is a filthy establishment with no cleaning standards...fix the place up, and hire some cleaners.

Terrible!!! The owner expects you as the customer to know how he charges for half toppings. Ordered the Chicago thin crust and got 1 topping on one side and 1 on the other side. We also got wings. When I asked my husband how much it was he said almost $35. Then when I saw the pizza, it sure didnt look very appetizing. So I called and spoke to the owner who proceeds to tell me he charged per topping so it was an extra $8 for toppings when I asked for half pepperoni half beef. He never mentioned that when I ordered and then tells me that I should have known myslef that he charges per topping whether its on half or the whole pizza. How as the customer am I supposed to know he charges extra for each topping when no other pizza place or pizzeria does that. He kept saying that hes always done it that way. Well how am I supposed to know that. Ive only been here 2 other times, and only gotten the deep dish before. This is just ridiculous. As the owner, you should treat your customers better and explain things when taking an order. You should treat every customer as a new customer since you do things differently than everywhere else. We DEFINITELY WONT be coming back. Christophers is SO MUCH better and just across the street.

So not what I expected. I have never had Chicago style pizza before but if this is what its like then Ill stay away from chicago. New to the area and ordered it to go because me and a friend were having lunch at her place with our daughters for a play date. Apparently they only have thin crust and Deep dish. Their deep dish is like a lasagna pizza. Its a deep bowl of pizza crust/bread with a solid layer of cheese, then a solid layer of pepperoni, then a solid layer of sauce... and then its repeated. Takes 45 min to an hour to make, only to get a pizza/lasagna thingy. To top it off, its not acutally that big. Its deep but in diameter its not very large. I decided to give their thin crust a chance. It was ok... but not great. And it was kind of cardboard like. Slightly better than dominos thin crust pizza. However a large thin crust will run you damn near 20 bucks. Its only me my husband and a 3 year old and one pizza wasnt enough. I wont be going back. Chrisophers across the street has way better pizza anyway and they deliver. Dont waste your time or your money on this place.

After dining n Chicago and having a real Chicago pie, this is the only place in the Houston area that compares. We used to eat here once a week but after moving to Clear Lake we have missed our weekly trips here. The service has always been great. And please understand, this is a deep dish pie which is a minimum thirty minute wait for Chicago style deliciousness... the owner tries to please everyone but some people are just difficult and love being so. The sauce is smooth, just like the mom and pops in the Windy City. The toppings are good quality with a flaky buttery crispy crust. If you want the real deal and miss that great pie from the north , this is it! However the price is LESS than you would pay in Chicago. Thats a bonus... more than the big box cardboard pizza places but worth it and its not THAT much more. We wish they would open one here around NASA... then we could go back to our weekly Thursday night hangout. We miss you Windy City!!!!

First of all take about 40 min to get my food also he dont have napkin in the tables what kind of pizza restaurants dont have napkins in the tables and he doesnt offer any. Second place the I order a Italian beef, Chicago style dog and a Polish sausage and was the most disgusting food I have ever try any one who try the food that I order in Chicago know what I talking about if you looking for a Chicago food please dont go to this place we dont even eat the food 3rd the drinks cups are super small and you have to ask if you want a refill whit this size cup I have to ask for more an list 4 o 5 time also take me 40 min to wait for my food and only take 3 min to walk away and an other thing restroom are always lock so if you order food take it home. And the Las thing the guy who take your order is the one who cook the food, make your drinks, waitress and the one who clean the tables. Dont recommend
