Weve been to the Humble & Atascocita locations, most recently today for lunch, when we thought wed try the pasta dishes, being that the pizza has been 100% on the money thus far. Sometimes a restaurant can specialize in one thing, then be not so good at others....Not the case here! My dad (born in Brooklyn, lived in Queens & Long Island til his 50s) reported the baked ziti was a cut above, being they used a bit of cream in the sauce instead of a straight tomato sauce. He was blown away, and it is very difficult to impress him with Italian food. My mom ordered chicken Florentine with fettucine, this was done in a light cream sauce with mushrooms and spinach, also reported as extremely well done. I ordered a dish of rigatoni, not knowing if there was anything with it, what sauce, etc...Out came a nice portion of pasta (tho it didnt look like rigatoni to me, seemed more like ziti or penne, no matter), with thin slices of a very tasty and proper Italian sausage arranged around the top, the pasta tossed in a flavorful, red, thick tomato sauce populated with tiny juliennes of red onion and red pepper, plus another scoop of sauce in the middle. Holy cow - Italian soul food. So many places just cannot get sauce right, even in New York, so I gave up trying to order pasta out years ago, but their recipe and the way they brought it together rivaled a lot of what I ate growing up. If they could perhaps cut 1 or 2 minutes from the pasta cooking time that would ensure a 100% perfect al dente texture, but it honestly did not detract. Oh, and each came with either a side salad or garlic bread - we each opted for the bread, knowing how much you usually get, maybe 1 or 2 oval slices.....Its like each of us got 2 complete sides of an Italian thin loaf, garlicked up. As they say in Italian, an Abbondanza of garlic bread. Doesnt leave one wanting for anything. Even if the bread itself wasnt quite what wed call Italian bread they did a great job on it. So now that we know the pasta is as well-made as the honest & authentic pizza (that term gets thrown around a lot but this really is the real deal, trust me), we will make this a must-stop each time we come into Atascocita to do our shopping. After finally getting some similarly-excellent pizza places where we previously lived outside New York, we moved here to the sad prospect of a lifetime of Papa Johns. This could not have come at a better time. Houston has real New York pizza with real New York ingredients - what could be better! We are quite thankful.

The first couple of orders were correct until I had to order something customizable. They made an error on the same item 3 consecutive times that I ordered. The managers way of handling the issue was unprofessional with silent murmuring and whispering throughout the phone discussion. They will not return funds to your card, only provide in store credit for Their errors. Other than that, when they get things right theyre alright.

We have been looking for pizza like back home in Jersey sonce we moved here. We have tried every place around and found not one even close till now. We will so be going back. It was super clean, friendly atmosphere as well as staff. The pizza we got was awesome. Cant wait to try something else next time.

Pretty good food but didnt live up to my expectations. Interior is clean and new but seems to be missing more ambiance. I think I was expecting more New York atmosphere and flavor. Garlic Knots and Stomboli were very good but the pizza was a little lacking.

I am from New Jersey and I came here hoping and praying I would be able to find a REAL NY pizza place.. I have to look no further!!!!! This place is the most amazing Brooklyn style pizza and chicken parm dinner.. All I have to do is close my eyes and Im in NJ

FOOD IS REALLY GOOD, BUT IF YOU ORDER TO GO IS SO SLOW THAT YOU MIGHT NEVER GET IT!! We PLACED AN ORDER THAT TOOK ALMOST 2 HOURS AND WE CALLED AND THEY SAID OUR ORDER WAS NEVER PLACED :( VERY DISAPPOINTING ! BUT FOOD IS REALLY DELICIOUS!

Pies are good size and they deliver quickly. Definitely superior quality when compared with chains. Fresh ingredients and nice, thin NY style crust. Easy folding. Overall best pizza in Atascocita! You wont regret.

Great crust reminds me of back home, however order the Brooklyn special and it was very skimpy on the toppings. For the price I could get two of these from papa johns. I will try again but wont be anytime soon...

Very disappointed with service. Waited a hour sitting in restaurant to find out pizza was ready 30 minutes ago. Then given cold pizza. Never again do your self a favor find yourself a different pizzeria I am.
