If I could give no stars I would. I came in yesterday. I was not greeted with happiness. The woman at the bar with a deep strong accent tall had a ponytail saw me and it took her awhile to acknowledge me. I spoke and told her that I called the restaurant earlier. She had left me on hold and never got back on the phone with me. So I decided to go in and try to eat. She asked me did I know what I wanted so told her no I havent been here before she said everything is good and then walked away. It took her 10minutes to come back and take my order. She helped everyone one else around me several times before she came back. When she came back to me finally, she said do I know what I want. I told her I had a question about the tacos if it was a lot of food on the carne asada meal she said no. So I ordered the turkey burger without the special sauce on it and two drinks. Well I never received my second drink which was water no ice and cucumber. So I was waiting and waiting it took my food forever to come out. By the time another person showed up at the bar she was catering to him his food came out the same time mine did. She served him first had my food sitting then served another man across the bar my food sat for a good five minutes before it got to me. I was dissappointed. And she moved so fast I didnt have time to ask her anything. I felt my fries they were cold then I looked at the turkey burger it had everything on it including the sauce I told her not to add. She took off so I felt punked. When she came bk she finally made eye contact and by that time two other men showed up to the bar she had fully Catered to them. She saw me and I said excuse me, she wasnt smiling, afraid to ask her anything really. I felt like getting up and walking out but I tried to ignore it all. I told her the burger has the sauce on it and I dont eat any sauce just plain just cheese. She looked irritated with me so I apologized and said Im sorry. Now what was I apologizing for. Maybe for her rude service, maybe her bad day maybe the way she made me feel uncomfortable. She told me earlier when I asked what kind of food the restaurant served she said the same kind thats on the menu in your room. I was done then. But bk to my burger so she looks at me and said no its ok. Then came back pulled out huge bottles of mustard mayo and ketchup and said here in case you want to add sauce. I dont eat sauce none of that so when I saw those bottles I almost gagged. Then thought she had to be kidding me right? Not once did she ask me if everything was ok if I needed water or nothing. She was serving everyone else around me all in which were white males so already I felt slided somehow. Treated as if I didnt exist. I watched how she laughed and personally interacted with all the men it was a total 360. Even the man on my right apologized for her he saw what was happening. When my turkey burger came back it barely had any lettuce on it only onions and a tomato no cheese and the pickle was the same one that was on the last plate because the aioli sauce was smeared on it somehow. After trying to force myself to eat the burger I was disgusted. I took a few bites and couldnt do it I almost gagged on every bite. So I pushed my plate away and tried to drink my drink and I thought to myself why I am I still here. The waitress was gone. Then another waitress came by and asked me if I was ok and how was the food. I said Im not very happy. I told her I couldnt eat my food. And she told me that the turkey burger was not her personal favorite but she did recommend the angus and said I wont be dissappointed. So I said ok Ill try that instead plain only cheese and lettuce. She said ok Ill have it right out apologizing again. Then the man next to me apologized and said yeah he saw It all. So management it was my first and last time back fully dissappointed. Ps I was still charged and ignored after the first waitress came bk. Hope you all can have better service really our company frequents your hotel i dont want coworkers going thru what I did.

Stayed there on December 7th, I am a Sheraton employee in another state, I was in Houston on business for 1 day. I am not going to lie to you, I was shocked to how rude, the front desk manager was, and how dismissive most of the staff at the front desk were as well. My room was not warming up, do i woke up at 3 am, to find a cockroach crawling on opposite side of the bed, I had to kill it and take a picture and a video of it, to show it to their night employee, who told me he "couldnt do anything for me" and I was told to speak with his manager, name "Reed".. Or something like that, in the morning, do i went to my meeting and came back to speak with the manager, after showing him the pics, I really just wanted to feel like I was taking care of as a guest, not even a sincere apology, he had the most sarcastic grin on his face with his condescending tone told me, "we dont have a big problem at this hotel" and was implying to that the bes was still made-whatever that means- it was side I wasnt sleeping on! I had a video which I showed him, he threatened to contact my management, because I was communicating my concern to him, he then asked me to walk outside with him to talk!!! The guy was super bizarre and immature for his position. He storms in the back when I refused to walk outside with him and told him im calling corporate, his manager (Michael Al Gazawi) comes to to sound just as sarcastic and condescending, these managers didnt seem sincere nor respectful in the way the were dealing with a guest issue. I called for the shuttle at 2:40 p.m exactly was picjed up at 3:20... They didnt seemed to care at all. Im very disappointed because I know what I would have done for an upset guest at our property. Shame on them. I have to say Ricardo the bartender was a very nice man and also the restaurant ladies in the morning were very sweet and helpful. Never going back.

Tough to complain. After a disaster of a trip to get here, the guy at the front desk was polite, the room clean, and the bed comfy. When I say the room was clean, it wasnt immaculate, theres a little mold in the shower, but its a very humid climate and hard to avoid that here. The room was easily within acceptable standards though, even pre-chilled on a hot day. For as close to the airport as it is, the planes arent that loud, definitely not loud enough to affect my sleep. The other guests arent a rowdy bunch, so its been a pretty chill & quiet spot. The pool looked so tempting, I wish I brought my swim suit. The lounge / restaurant was pretty good. Had chicken fried steak. It was in the top 30% of the ones I have had. The vegetables were quite salty, but to be honest, they tasted good that way. The rest of the food was not salty, but was tasty. The bar tender was nice, even listened about my travel disaster. The drinks were strong, definitely not watered down. The shuttle from the airport took a little longer than stated, but the driver was nice. Cant comment on his driving other than to say I slept the whole way.
