This has been a hidden gem of Pasadena for years. I can remember coming here with my parents when I was a kid. Its a small establishment with a very large menu. Its nothing like Dantons, Peska or Reef but you should already know that going in since youre not paying $30+ a plate. A good review would be based on multiple visits and multiple courses tried so I will only review my experiences. Value-Amazing! 3 very large pieces of fish, 6 large shrimp, 1 slice of buttered toast and fries. All for $8 and it feeds two. Taste-i like the light but crunchy cornmeal breading. It could be seasoned more but nothing lemon wont fix. Tasty shrimp, crunchy fries. Service- quick, no frills, in and out. Local mom and pop look and feel, not too busy weeknights, huge portions and lots to choose from. Highly recommended. Ignore that guys 1 star review, he thinks "Chipotle" is real Mexican food.

One of the worst fried fish places Ive ever eaten at. If you believe this is good food I feel sorry for you and you need to try other places, maybe even reevaluate your life. Ive eaten here once before and didnt like it. I thought Id give it another try and it was even worst. I ordered the fish and shrimp combo and both breading on them were quite horrid. I wasnt even given catfish like I ordered, tasted like a different kind. The fries were most definitely store bought frozen then deep fried. While you do get lots of food for the price, its because not much of it is edible. Will never be coming back here.

I have been getting my seafood from the Lighthouse Seafood for years. Moved out of the area and and came back to the same good seafood. Had the catfish yesterday. Ive also had the shrimp, the oysters, the stuffed crab, all good. I suggest you should try it.

The best seafood ever! They got nothing on Red Lobster or any other seafood restaurant. The prices are cheap, and the food is really good. If you want go food for a good price, you need to try Lighthouse seafood.

The food and always fresh and hot and tastes great. Nice large shrimp ,not the skimpy ones you get other places. The breading is great. The owners have been there forever and are very nice. Love it.
