My family went to this restaurant for a dinner and were seated in the main area. In the middle of the dinner, my 3 year old son ran to the aquarium with his ice cream. We sat in the aquarium area as he looks at the aquarium. I asked my daughter to hand me my plate and drink so I could continue my dinner while my son looks at the fishes in the aquarium. When my son spilled his ice cream on his shirt, I asked for a napkin...The server gave me a napkin but told me...you eating there?...You should go back to your seat or I will DOUBLE CHARGE you!...excuse me? There are about 20 empty tables and more than 50 empty chairs in that area. I asked for her manager. The manager said...We have a table policy and you should tell the server if you are transferring..just be polite...EXCUSE ME??? I told him, do you understand what POLITE means???... YOU LITERALLY ASKED ME TO STOP EATING, GO BACK TO MY SIT OR THAT YOU WILL CHARGE ME DOUBLE?...and be POLITE????...I was just letting my son enjoy his moment and I can get to finish my plate....After I finish my plate, I went back to my table with the rest of my family. My husband said...DO NOT ADD ANY TIP. They do not deserve a tip. It is unfortunate as I like the food...NOT THE SERVICE...

Really bad service and poor buffet!! My friend and I came on august 30,2016 We came around 2pm,were seated and got the iced tea and water. My friend asked the waitress what happened to the meat at the grill-and she in a very rude and unpolite way said" we dont have it" she is a slender tall asian.. She never came for my refill!! She went to the back and started eating rice!?? That doesnt look professional!! We left $1 tip and left..you dont treat customers like that! You could feel the obnoxious and rude waitress talking about us in her language!! She was laughing and I dont think thats professional at all!! Because most customers are hispanic they deserve respect!! Silver palace in bellaire is 100 percent better than this place. This asian waitress have to learn that she is not doing me a favor!! Thats why she got $1 tip.Usually I leave $3 or $4 tips. This asian waitress has to be fired!!

My sister made us drive across town just to come eat at this restaurant only to have my car broken into in their parking lot while we were eating just before Thanksgiving. Thieves stole everything they could find in my truck and the owner was unapologetic. With all the security cameras around the parking lot, this guy said they were not working. He was uncorporative. The food was even not worth driving out of our way to go eat there. I will never eat at this place again. To make matters worse, we waited for more than 2hrs for the police and they never showed up. We got frustrated and left. What an experience. I still have my damaged truck and a bad taste.

Eeeeeeewwwwwwwwew I have had some bad experiences with Chinese food buffets and I do mean bad experiences but lam bo took the proverbial cake nothing on the entire the fair was tasteful the crawfish did not taste seasoned the shrimp was undercooked everything was horrible would never eat at this place ever again and would not advise anyone on paying the astronomical amount to be ignored by your waitress and fight to swallow down whatever horrible thing that looks really good you put on your plate save yourself some money go right across the street to the house a pie great food American dining pi lots of pi all kinds of pot good food not this place

Since when did they start charging for 1 year olds?? My mom noticed a 3 dollar charge and asked what it was for even jokingly adding that it must have not been for the baby and the lady at the register answered rudely saying, " She did eat didnt she." Yes she did eat but they have never charged us before so it was surprising especially when no one mentioned it. If they would of told us before instead of being rude and just adding that charge, we might have been okay with it since it is 3 dollars but babies, especially one year olds, are NEVER charged at a restaurant! Never wasting our money here again.

I would rate this place "0" but I had to rate it in order to post. I brought my wife and all I have to say is not even the salad is good in this place. My wife stated the salad smelled bad and at first I said its in your head. (Wife=picky eater) then she stated that the egg roll tasted like windex; so I took one bite and I really had to agree with her. The food was awful; food was just tosed on the containers while being replenished. I dont like bashing on any restaurants but this was one if not the worst places we have had dinner. Sorry LAMBO Chinese Buffee but yall need to step yalls game up.

I seriously dont understand some of these reviews. Think of those chain Chinese places in Houston, China Star, China East and the like. Those places are way better than this. I tried several things, and none of it tasted good, or was made with good ingredients. Some of it inedible. Strangely they had shrimp tempura sushi rolls that were pretty good for a cheap buffet, however this place isnt that cheap. almost 12 bucks for lunch. The one plus with this place is that the room is very spacious and nice. Its a nice atmosphere, but the food really sucks, and I am not that picky

Was very disappointed in the food. The sushi bar is ridiculous. After inquiring a few different employees they finally admitted that they dont serve sashimi. No whitetail, salmon, etc.. They do have tuna as an employee pointed out a handroll made with what appeared to be Starkist canned tuna. Buffet food was stale and hard. Here on the southeast side of town there are dozens of international buffets and all the ones Ive been to have been 3-4 steps up or more from this place. I had been here a couple of years ago and was blown away by the place, but this visit left a lot to be desired.

Food was good. Service was something else. My nephew was not able to finish his drink so I asked for a cup to go. Apparently that was a problem, because the waitress had to tell another waitress who had to ask the manager if it was okay I guess. Then I had to still tell it to the manager. And reiterate that I simply need to the drink to go and that I wasnt asking for a refill. On a $50 ticket youd think that was easy. By the way I was leaving because one of the servers kept watching our table, then brought check early. Used to be a much nicer joint.

Well, its been over a year since I came to this buffet. I come to a Chinese buffet very rarely. I came to eat with the family tonight (Thursday) its very quiet and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately the food isnt as fresh as I remembered it. It had an off taste. Even my picky eaters asked to go to the one down on Bellaire. There isnt much to choose from, which I believe the price I paid ($50), should accommodate. I mostly wont return here because of the food and how it wasnt tasteful.
