Best burger stand in not only the area but the city, in my opinion. Burgers are delicious, its like a homemade wataburger style burger. Their meat is thin so I get the double, with fresh produce. Most ingenious part is that if you get a double they put the cheese on the bun side and the produce in between the two patties. It makes all the difference!!! Whatever they cook their burgers in, is amazing, but the burgers are never to greasy, Everything Ive tried from there is delicious, Chili burger and chilli dog is great. Good, real ice cream shakes. Love their FLOATS because they use soft serve ice cream for it. AMAZING!!!. Always try and go there when Im in there area. They are quite low priced also but certainly not "cheap". High quality ingredients, you can definitely tell. I get two huge burgers, two large fries, a shake, a root beer float, and a soft drink for under $20. Wouldnt go anywhere else for a burger if I could. Note for those who saw reviews about their service. They are very nice people, usually when I go theres an older black lady at the window that is good at her job and very nice when you yourself have your stuff together. Couple of things you should know, they only accept cash, no bills larger then 20. No cell phones while ordering, and know what you want before you order. Meaning you cant be rude first! Its an ordering window, not a make your decision window. She has stuff to do, and you can either decide on your order in line or off to the side. And the cell phone thing, I shouldnt have to explain why thats rude, however if you tell her "Im sorry, Im reading my friends order from a text", she will understand, Ive done it before in a timely fashion shes cool with it. DO NOT be talking on the phone with someone trying to get their order and telling the what they have and how much it is while ordering! That is RUDE! Have that convo off to the side then order. All in all they are very nice if you are nice also, like most Texans. GO GET A BURGER FROM CREAM BURGER.

First off the food is ok not bad, To me its not great but for its price, yeah? But its not worth for me spending another dime there again that lady is extremely rude? Hurrying you to order and being mean about it. You should treat your customers with respect if theyre spending their money at your food stand. I was respectable, and polite said hello, no respond back. How Im being treated is very important, especially when u handling my food? That Im paying for but never again. Im surprised many ppl still go there cause shes rude, just poor customer service. Or is she only just like that to her black customers. IJS...But to eaches own. But I bought a milkshake there and mines tasted like it had cooking grease in it. And it did? Never again will buy another shake or going back there. So only go here if u want a decent burger and fries for a cheap price and u dont feel like going nowhere else. Thats if u dont mind the wait or the rudeness. But if u buy a milkshake that taste like cooking grease, and greasy, demand your money back!!!

The short story here is that the food was pretty good. It wasnt the best burger I had ever had, but it was a very good burger with great fries. I saw reviews saying that the lady at the window was rude and I dont think that could be further from the truth. I showed up right before closing time and she was as sweet as could be. She was frank, but not rude in any way. If you want a shake or ice cream, you have to go more than 30 minutes before she closes, she shuts down the shake machine early. If youre looking for a burger in this area, this is a great place to do it.

The burgers are okay, Ive had much better. The fries are not all that. The lady taking orders needs some extreme customer service training, she can come off as extremely rude. (She reminds me of that mean grandma in the family that everyone tries their best to avoid) She never answers the phone to take phone orders so you will have to actually go there to order, then sit there and wait 15+ minutes for your food. But if youre hungry, in the area, and looking for a cheap, okay burger joint, then this is the place.

This is a small shack on the corner of the street. If you are not careful you can miss it completely. Ive been coming to this place for a while now and I love it. The owner is a lady and she is pretty nice. The menu doesnt change and its good food for a cheap price. Which is good for people on a college student or limited budget. The "parking lot" is really small and can fit maybe 3-4 cars total. And there are some tables in front if you wish to sit and eat there. Overall, a place to visit at least once.

Best burgers. Old school is the best. Nice lady at the counter is amazing, Im assuming all the bad reviews were just people thinking to much, because I was polite, walked up knowing what to order, said please, thank you, yes maam, like any customer should, and she was just as nice to me back. Kindness will appear in others if you portray it too. Stop seeing the negative things and accept people for who they are, because she is nice, just not at first glance.

These burgers are amazing!!!! I have been going here since I was a little girl and this place never disappoints. Dont let others reviews about the black lady at the counter dissuade you from going there. This lady is typical always there which means she works a lot. Shes straight forward and efficient. Say hello, give her your order and say thank you. If you looking for someone to fall over you with niceties, I suggest a Resturant!

This place reminds me of the old fashion hamburger stand on the corner. The prices are cheap and the food is good. I had a old time vanilla shake and it was delicious. The place is a dive, but clean and cheap. You cant go wrong here. Im sure after football games at UH this place is packed. Bring some breath mints after you eat the burgers. The onions are strong, but thats what add flavor to the burger.

Hands down the best fast food in Houston. Opened in 1946 and Ive been eating there for 30 yes. Give the chili cheese burger a try with a malt.Real malt BTW.I dont get the warning about avoiding the place at night, never had a problem with anybody. Unless kids having fun puts knot in your knickers. God bless Cream Burger and the family that runs it. Live long Cream Burger!. L.B. the plumber.

Ok if you have no transportation to go anywhere else. Floats had no carbonation and was more like kool aid and ice cream. The wait is VERY LONG as only 1 person can take orders and grill & kitchen is only big enough for 1 person to be in who prepared 1 order at a time. Its also very hot standing under awning as it is and outside hamburger shack. Meat is very thin and taste cheap.
