I was really happy to know about this place and couldnt wait to try it out since I like all sorts of Asian food. I took my family here and ordered large egg drop soup and a variety of Chinese food. We usually cant finish our food and decided to take the rest of it home. The large egg drop soup was terrible but I figured I should take it home just in case I get too hungry and desperate enough to eat it. They took the large soup bowl back to the kitchen to pack to go. They came back with a really really small container with the soup. I questioned the waitress what happened to the soup and she said some excuse that I couldnt understand. She sounded like she was saying it in her native language. I argued that they need to give me a large soup container for what was equivalent to amount that was in the bowl. But the waitress wouldnt give me the rest of it and insisted that thats all of it. This was a sad experience and a terrible service overall. I love Chinese food but this place left me a bad taste in my mouth. Terrible service and will not be coming back ever again even if this was the last Chinese place on earth. I would rather eat Ramen noodles.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time today, since its not too far from where we live. Wasnt too impressed with the food or service on this visit. Though the instrumental music was soothing. The waitress, not too friendly, seemed a little too pushy and rushed us to order. It was fairly empty when we went as the lunch rush was already over. I got the lemon strips which were deep fried, and regreted getting it as it was kinda tough and they didnt provide us knives with our utensils. It came with what looked like sweet and sour sauce. It was just OK. My husband got the sesame chicken, which says may be spicy on the menu, but wasnt, he let me try and it was alright. Flavor was kinda lacking in my opinion also, although he seemed to like it. Fried rice was bland and lacking any vegetables. Will say had big portion sizes, but on the pricy side. They might have recently raised prices because menu items were less online. All in all nothing too great or out of this world about this Chinese place. Give it three stars for food being hot and place seemed clean enough, but thats it! Will have to continue to search for a better place here in SA!

The "crab" wontons had no crab as far as I could tell, just a tiny smear of cream cheese. The breaded chicken was in huge chunks and made of mostly fat, dark meat and tendons, very obviously cheap meat trying to be disguised. It was supposed to be spicy but there was no flavor at all. I was grossed out by the appearance and texture of the chicken but tried to make the best of it. However after a few pieces I had to stop, it was like eating blobs of soggy breaded fat and it was making my stomach churn. My bf couldnt even get halfway through his beef before he quit too because it tasted like very poor quality meat. The rice was good and we ended up just pouring sauce on it and eating that for dinner. Very disappointed.

We found this restaurant in a Googles Search and was very happy we did. The service was awesome! Our server, Stephen, was very prompt, made some fabulous recommendations and also pointed out how to get what we wanted at the lowest price. The Food and tea ( oolong tea ) was served Hot and fresh, made when ordered. The food was so delicious and had very generous portions. We fed a family of 4 this evening and paid less the $40. My kids also loved the food. The atmosphere is claming, relaxing, clean and welcoming! I am Sure that this will be our new favorite Chinese food place. Thank you Oolong for a wonderful dining experience!

My husband and I love oolong! We get it to go most of the time. My only complaints are that the food can sometimes be hit or miss. The meat can be very hard/dry and other times very tender. More often than not its great though! Also pricing wise their lunch price is good for the amount of food, but the dinner price goes up almost $3 for the same amount of food, not to mention if you order to go at any time of the day they dont give you complimentary soup which is $2something if ordered on its own. Thats shady business with no discounted to go pricing. Ill continue going though because its pretty yummy. :)

Do not eat here if you have seafood allergies. I ordered pork fried rice for my wife and she found a large piece of shrimp in her food, not a big deal for most people but my wife is allergic to sea food. I called and they replaced the order. They stated the shrimp is near the pork fried rice on the food line. We ordered take out tonight (12/12/16) and this time she found several small pieces of shrimp in her pork fried rice. She only took a few bites this time, waiting to see how bad the reaction is going to be. I will never order from them again, not worth the risk.

Went here for lunch, the lunch specials are big portions and you get soup and an egg roll or rangoon. There was a lunch rush and it did not effect the quality of service or time to get our food. The food came very fresh and piping hot and in a timely manner. Would absolutely go here again and recommend. The food is also very good, my brother said the lemon chicken was great, and my broccoli and beef had a good beef to broccoli ratio (which I am super picky about).

Maya and her team at Oolongs Restaurant serve a mean Chinese food dish. My favorites are the Mongolian Chicken and the Sesame Chicken (which is usually way overdone and too sweet at most restaurants - but just perfect here.) Theyve gradually perfected their eggroll recipe and the service is excellent (especially if you have the distinct pleasure of dining with the sweet and gracious, Michelle.)

Our last visit was wonderful. We have gone to Oolongs for a long time, but the last time we went, the food was much, much better (new recipe? new cooks?). Place was packed, so my guess is that the word has spread that the food is much better. The significant improvement in food taste led me to post my first review (on any restaurant) -- kudos to whoever at Oolong was behind the "new" food.

Fastest service I have EVER experienced...wow! Loved the place. Food was 95 out of 100, but service was way above par. Waitress was amazing - food and drinks and any other needs/requests were delivered within seconds (literally). Will be back for sure. Great prices also. Dinner for 2 with appetizers and 3 drinks only about $40. Thank you Oolong

Ordered the combination noodle soup to go around 5PM. Got home and opened the ingredients and the stench from the rotten shrimp was overpowering. Closed it up and had to drive back to get a refund. I dared the manager to either eat one himself or get the cook out to eat one. No takers. I used to eat there frequently but Im never going back.
