I have never been more disgusted about a food interaction in my life. It started with me being served undercooked chicken and missing part of my meal. I called and asked to speak with a manager only to be answered with Im the best that you will get. I was told to return the chicken and I would get a refund. I brought the chicken back only to find out that I wasnt getting a refund only with the promise of more chicken. I was almost ok with that until I saw a young lady pull a already used cup with crusted macaroni on it and use her bare hands and dip it into the fresh macaroni. She then scooped it out and had macaroni on her hand and put it in a container for a customer. Tyler meanwhile is on the phone trying to get ahold of his manager and is rubbing his face and neck with his bare hands. He then offers me fresh rolls for my inconvenience . He proceeds to use the same unwashed hands to stick inside my bag and open it and drop freshly baked rolls in a skin cell riddled bag. I watched another employee take okra off the counter with his hands and drop it back inside of the pan. This is the most unsanitary experience that I have ever been privy to. I feel sorry for anyone else who eats here. Washing your hands, ladles and a gloves should all be mandatory for food establishments. None.. I repeat none of these things were used in the making or distribution of the food at Golden Chicken in Helotes.

I have always liked the food I have received from this restaurant, but over the years the employees and management have made me come to dislike it. Recently I visited this location and was the only customer in the store. There were 4 employees and a manager working. It took 15 minutes to get me food that was already pre-made. During this time I witnessed an employee who was putting food in to-go containers, lick off the excess food from the container and his hand. I saw a girl who never left her phone. And I witnessed a manager refuse to lend a hand to an employee. Understand these events are not one time occurrences for I have seen this happen before. I like the food, but the service sucks

If there was a option to not rate at all i would. Me & my fiance ordered the #6 catfish & they didnt even cook it right ! & it was covered in pepper. & they didnt even have lemon ? They also gave me sprite & it was so watered down ..like dont you check your dispenser ? & my fiance asked for sweet tea they gave unsweet tea. They forgot straws & napkins & to top it off they didnt put our side of mash potatoes ! Last time i ever go here all this bullshit to wait 30 mins for our food .

I went through the drive through today and got some sour coleslaw and dry chicken. I tried calling and letting them know and Tyler offer to replace the order. so I get a call back almost 10 min later and they dont feel comfortable replacing the order and the owner said dont worry about them because i was not able to come now because I am watching 2 kids that had to eat dry chicken. I didnt appreciate how they delt with my complaint.

Zero stars for customer service. Forgot some of our food through drive through. Simple refund for the food would be nice but could not because we used a credit card. Asked to speak to manager. Manager is never there. Employees have to call for refunds. Manager answers after 10 minutes of waiting. Still argues about refund. Ridiculous! Terrible service. Do not come here go to Slim Chickens instead better food and service!

Let me start by saying that there is a curb right by the driver thru. No sign, nothing to warn you that you should stay right. My son was driving and hit it, scratching my rim and tire badly. I have a brand new car and any very upset. The staff was extremely rude. I have the managers number. Called, left a vm for the manager. Apparently, we are not the only ones that have done this. Ugh!

First time going to this chain restaurant. Took a 20 minutes for 2 meals to come out and I pulled a short thick black hair out from my mouth that I felt in my lower lip, just beneath my teeth. Maybe the cooks should protection and wash their hands before handling the food. I dont remember anything about the food once i found that hair. I will not be going back.

Worst golden chicken I have ever been too, (food). I ordered a 2 piece breast and wing. The pieces were so small they looked like they came from a pigeon and they were extremely dried out. All the other locations Ive been to, the chicken was so juicy and flavorful..As well as big pieces. I will not go back to this one again. Huge disappointment!

UNDERCOOKED CHICKEN , UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES. WORST GOLDEN CHICK I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. I have given this specific location multiple chances. Ive literally had uncooked chicken 3 out of 4 of my visits here. Twice for lunch, once for dinner. There are too many other places to eat inside of the Helotes and San Antonio area to put up with this.

Food was okay, nothing to rant and rave about. I was disappointed that when we walked in there with a 7 yr. old child, the movie "2 Guns" was playing on TV and the staff failed to recognize that having the FX channel on does not look good for your business, especially for families.

Best chicken tenders. I decided to try this location since I just moved to the area and my experience was outstanding. I went through the drive through, the service was fast and my tenders were hot. I cant complain, definitely recommend. Great food, great service.

Showed up to a long line of cars in the drive-thru, but was pleased to see everything moving along quickly. The food was excellent, although the tenders I ordered seemed a bit small compared to the location on Babcock.
