Please be warned!!!! I just paid $135 and drove way out of my way to get my daughter a custom made cake for her 14th birthday party. It was a huge mistake! The cake was honestly horrible!!!! I swear to you I almost choked on it. Even the kids wouldnt eat it! It was unbelievably dry and I am never one to complain unless it is very well deserved. It did not taste like cake at all as it tasted more like old bread. I honesstly felt like taking the cake back and asking them to taste it themselves...there is no way that ANYONE would say that cake tasted fresh!!! Not even close!!! But it was a long way to drive and I had a birthday party and girls at my house for my daughters birthday and sleepover. I couldnt leave. The cake tasted like it had been baked a week or so earlier. I could have baked a better cake myself. Normally everyone looks forward to leftover cake. Not this cake. Nobody wanted a second piece of that cake the next day! Dry, dry, dry!!!! Ive never had such a horrible tasting cake and we looked forward to that cake for a couple of weeks and then were shocked at how horrible it was. Dry is not even the word for it. It was unedible!!! We never throw cake out at our house...too many cake fanatics but we threw that cake out!!! So BE WARNED!

Last year, special ordered a cake for 2 x 2yr olds birthday party. The appearance of the store was a bit stale, but clean with nice presentations of baked goods. The staff was very nice & accommodating. However, the huge disappointment was the cake itself. The presentation of the cake was very pretty & done exactly as requested. Taste & texture were a HUGE disappointment, especially for the high amount of money paid. The cake was dry & near flavorless, the frosting was waxy, stiff & also had very little flavor. We ended up throwing over 75% of the cake away. From now on I will either make my own cakes or go diagonal across the roads to HEB.

NEVER EVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!! They are awful with terrible customer service!!! They dont even deserve 1 start I wish I could give them zero Spent almost $200 on 3 dozen cupcakes. That were supposed to be decorated in an Alice in Wonderland theme... The cupcakes were extremely basic. And they tasted awful... the icing was inedible and the cupcakes were extremely dry... bought these for my little sisters Sweet 16. And I should have just went to HEB or Walmart at least then they would of tasted good... I am so disappointed. Spoke with a manager and she didnt seem to care as long as she had her money I guess...

My friend and I had a random Monday cup cake craving. I recently moved near this location, and thought it would be the perfect place. I did not know they also did wedding cakes, so we decided to do the half dozen for a little sampling. We tried the red velvet, confetti, wedding cake, and two different chocolate ones. They looked beautiful, but tasted horrible! I have had better grocery store cupcakes. The cake on all six was completely dry! some of the frosting was smack you in the face sweet (and I have a sweet tooth)! Terrible experience and will NOT be considering them for any future business.

Quality for price is overboard. Very disappointed with my Berry Cheesecake Cupcake which sported a non creamy cheesecake (dense) base the lacked in flavor, something even a rookie cheesecake cook would be able to achieve, topped with non fresh whipped cream that was clumpy and odd textured, and berries that were either not selected with quality in mind, or just had too much time to go bad. If your going to charge that much for a cupcake. Make a quality product. **I have now found that other cupcakes are dry and the frosting doesnt have a desirable taste. I feel ripped off out of my money. **

Thanks for the reviews, looks like every other review is negative and they are all complaining about the same thing, poor quality and poor customer service. It seems obvious that the 5 star reviews in between are posted right after a bad review trying to cancel it out, maybe from the place of business. I refuse to shop at places like this so thank you all for the reviews and for keeping me from wasting my money and time for an almost certain disappointment on a very special day and occasion. Clean up your act or you will eventually shut down.

The people rating this place 5 stars must have the taste buds of rodents. The cupcakes were extremely overpriced at almost $4 a cupcake. Cupcakes were as hard as cement and had no flavor. I got a red velvet cupcake, which was deplorable. The icing was even terribly hard. On top of all that, the cupcake was tiny. I wouldve done better going to Walmart or HEB and buying cupcakes. This place needs to do better, not sure how theyre still in business.

Ordered my sons birthday cake from here. Firstly i hate cake but the money i paid i was gonna eat some. All i can say is this is the only cake i will ever eat. It was amazing ! my son loved his cake and the staff was very friendly and took the time to listen to a 5 year old give instructions on his perfect cake; and it was exactly what he wanted. I will be back for sure.

Had ordered specially made cupcakes with a purple calla Lilly my daughter drew and different fillings and different types of batter. They came out amazingly! The cupcakes were perfectly moist and delicious! My daughter was very surprised and touched that I remembered the drawing. They were a bit pricey, but it was worth it to see my daughters face and have that memory.

Thought I would try out this place because the cupcakes did look delicious...boy was I wrong. They were disgusting and dry...espically for $2.75 a pop. The guy who was the cashier (and I think one of the owners) was very scraggly looking and unprofessional. The white cupcakes only taste like coconut, no just plain white cake. I dont see how they stay in business.

I ordered a cupcake cake for my sons school party and it was to have a frog on it. The icing was good, but how hard is it to make good icing. The cupcakes did not have much flavor, and the frog drawing on the front did not look professional. At 65.00 for 18 cupcakes I thouhgt it would be airbrushed or something nicer. Wouldnt order again.

My husband and I took our boys here for a quick treat. We picked out 6 differnt cupcakes to try, however on s Saturday there was not much of a selection. They were all extremley dry. We took a bite out of each of them and left the rest there. These cupcakes were disgusting and definetly not worth $3 something each.

Purchased cake for my daughters 18th birthday. Cake was very dry. The red velvet cake tasted bland. Icing was nothing special. I expected a moist and flavorful cake. The cake was not worth the price. The cupcakes are good but overpriced that is why I gave them 1 star. Otherwise I would have given them zero stars.

I bought half a dozen cupcakes today at the store on Bandera Road. The only thing couture about the cupcakes were the price and the pink box. The cupcakes were dry and seemed as though they had been on the shelf all week. They were uneven and lop sided as well. I was very disappointed because I expected better.
