When walking in to DVine Wine, one instantly notices the nice decorations and the boutique feel. Though I personally didnt have time to sit down and enjoy a glass, I did buy a bottle. Now this is my second experience with this place, and my first was not good either. I bought a bottle of their Nebbia, and it was horrible. It tasted quite green, and raw, as though it had only just been racked. At the time I blamed it on the strange variety of grape, so when I went there recently I purchased a bottle of Sangiovese, a wine I am familiar with and quite fond of. When I took out the cork and smelled it, I was honestly unsure if my dinner was going to stay in my stomach. I let the bottle sit for a minute in an attempt to let the wine breathe. When I poured myself a glass and took a sip it tasted like something akin to battery acid. Being an amateur winemaker, I know the basic ins and outs of winemaking, and this particular wine tasted as though it was done fermenting yesterday, when in reality a red wine of this nature should sit for around two years before being consumed. In the end I threw away the rest of the bottle (a shame as it cost 20 dollars). If you like a nice atmosphere to enjoy a glass of wine, the DVine Wine is a wonderful place, but I would highly suggest bringing your own wine.

Ill write another review since my last one doesnt seem to s showing up. This place closes at 9 pm on a Thursday night and 10pm on Friday and Saturday, The WEEKEND what is wrong with this picture??? The one time I was there I ha d a great time, but since you cant cater to the diverse population of Grapevine and the people that dont even go out till 9-10 at night I will take my business to Umbra or Wine Fusion, both places that wont turn away business. I understand this is a suburb, but understand this..there are people that would be in your store if only you would stay open past the curfew for teenagers.

I went in and ordered a custom labeled bottle of wine. I picked out a template and told them what to write on it and I was excited to come pick it up. Well for one, they didnt let me know when it was ready, I waited about a week and a half and had to call them and ask, and apparently it had been ready for a few days... and two they put the label on crooked! Cmon yall had one job to put a label on my wine and its crooked! I paid $35 for a custom labeled wine bottle, I wish I could have just done it myself!

A gentleman there whom I believe is the owner, gave us information on where he goes to produce his wine. I only like sweet wines and I was looking for a sweet red one. He told me try this one. I was a little apprehensive, but I LOVED it!! Thank You so much for introducing me to my new love of wine!! I will be visiting your Winery soon!!

All the wine seems fizzy and flawed it stinks like yeast and is unpleasnt to drink if you have ever had real wine then you know this wine isnt not only that 20 bucks a bottle its a shame
