I so want this place to do well as it is a local business and would rather give that extra dollar to them than any chain. This place has a great and wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff. I could almost see myself living in this place it is that comfortable and enjoyable. Theres even a room called The Library and it looks as such with board games to play and comfortable lounging chairs. Great visual appeal all around. Visuals aside though it is a bit on the pricey side for the portions you get. 2 of 3 the dishes of the food we received were cold and 1 was over salted(biscuits and gravy). I mentioned this to the owner who said he would check on it but he never came back. It wasnt busy at the time either. Im hoping this may have been a fluke as they just had their Grand Opening on Jan 16th but for now minus 1 star for the food and prices. I will say however the French Toast was delicious and Id certainly order it again. I highly recommend it. Such a great and welcomed addition to the area where it is VERY hard to find local businesses that are cool and inviting places like this. I recommend paying a visit to Gather to anyone. Well come in again Im sure but Im hoping on our next visit that the food wont be cold or so salty. Ill update my rating after our next visit and give it 5 stars if that improves.

We came here for the first time for Mothers Day. They are only serving breakfast (we didnt know) and Im allergic to eggs. They were very nice about it and accommodated me. So far, great! Then, when our food came, our son didnt get his food. They had told us service was taking some time, so we assumed it was just behind. No one came to check on us, though we were waiting to eat until his food arrived. Finally, after at least 15 minutes without a glance from any of the waiters, I asked when his food would come. The order had never reached the kitchen. We were really patient about it and didnt make any fuss, but we kind of expected at least some kind of apology or SOMEthing. Nothing. Im a bit perturbed that the good impression at the beginning soured so thoroughly. I think its a problem that you pay up front and tip before the meal. The staff did not GLANCE at us the entire meal, didnt refill drinks, not ask how our food was. Theres no way we would have tipped so much had we known that service wasnt a thing here.

My husband and I love coming here! The owner is so kind and all staff that we have encountered have been very pleasant, even for those new to their position. Theres always going to be a learning curve for new places, but Ive seen them take each comment and suggestion with excellence, so I know theyre going to continue to grow to be an amazing local spot. Yes, you will pay more for the food, but I so appreciate how everything is made fresh -- and it shows in the taste. Everything Ive had is delicious! I also am glad that they started to serve hemp milk in addition to soy and almond as a dairy free option for the drinks. The place is decorated beautifully. Seating options are great! You can come here to study or work, come with friends for some good coffee and food, or even reserve the back room for any small events you may have. Love that this welcoming, beautiful and delicious cafe is down the road from us!

My first time there was not good. I ordered a grilled cheese for my kids and it had bacon on it. Which would not be an issue had it need listed on the menu. My kids dont like back so I wasted food. I thought the food overall was overpriced for the quality. We tried it again tonight and it was worse. They guy who took our order was rude and acted annoyed that he had to help us. Again, something I ordered from the menu was different then described. Our salad and soup came out after out entrees. My roast was dry and salty. My husbands chicken friend rib eye had all the fat on it and it was hard as a rock from the frying and had not flavor. The decode is great but the service and food and subpar.

To sum. Coffee: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ive had better coffee elsewhere, but I havent found a better cleaned better group of professionals. These people understand that people come in, have a coffee, and then sit for two, three hours. I mean, these guys are bringing out ice cold waters as soon as they notice your drink is empty. What coffee shop does that? Gather does. I personally havent tried the food, however, I have heard great things about it, and that there seems to always be plenty on the plate. Ive definitely become a regular, and I can imagine youll become one as well.

The reviews here are accurate; nice atmosphere and staff. Yes, the food is overpriced, but I could handle that if the the taste was on point. Unfortunately, it missed the mark with what I tried. The bánh mì with pork was way off, although Ive had it from Asian markets all over, including Vietnam, so I might be harder to impress. That said, the pork should have been grilled, not flavorless mush. The other items I had were OK, and Id probably want to try the Cuban if I return.

My kids and I just popped in for a piece of Apple Pie! The pie is fantastic! We alos had a piece of Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie- Also fantastic!!! Great service and beautiful restaurant/coffee house. We will be back several times! Heather took care of us and she was completely genuine. I wish all places had employees like her!

I came in for the first time and asked if there was anything they were experimenting with that wasnt on the menu (for fun). To my surprise, they offered a nice hot bowl of pozolé! The pozolé was delicious! Must try it if youre in the mood for something savory with a little kick of spiciness to wake up the senses. :) Enjoy!

Good coffee, nice comfortable chairs and decor. Breakfast item availability seems to be a bit hit and miss, but hey, this isnt a chain coffee shop with corporate oversight (at least as far as I know). Lots of coffee options you wont find at chain coffee houses, and enthusiastic staff. Good place to hang out with friends!

Amazing coffee, the cortadito was strong and served beautifully. The avocado soup, so creamy and fresh, just needed a bit of acid. I loved the strawberries in the prosciutto sandwich. The decor is beautiful. I cant wait to come back and try more things.

I make it a point to always try local coffee shops wherever I go, and WOW! Definitely one of the best, the food is decadent and their bottomless house coffee is to die for. I had bacon and eggs with a side of the best toast Ive ever had. Definitely worth trying!

The food and the coffee are delicious. It isnt often you can get a really good breakfast/brunch and have great coffee. But here you can. Their lunch and dinner options are also very good, with a menu that is reasonably priced, but has an upscale appeal.
