The parking lot is practically nonexistent only fitting like 6 cars, but with how small this place is, I am assuming that is how many people they can fit comfortably there. I dont mind small hole- in-the-wall places, but I couldnt even sit down when I came here to try and watch my friends band perform. On top of that we were overcharged by like 4 drinks and when we disputed the additional charges (like $3.50 for a bud light...who does that? Its a terrible beer!!!) We were told"well someone must have ordered that looked like you" and "someone else must have used your name for their drink. " then they still charged my card, and eventually, after having to talk to three different people, I got cash back. After going to a dirty bar, waiting way to long to even be serviced because I am not a friend of the bartender, and not being able to sit at all, AND being overcharged with the dumbest excuses manageable, I will not recommend coming here, nor will we return.

This is an old school bar in the heart of Oak Cliff. Its away from the trendy bars on Bishop & Davis, in an area a lot of folks not from a place like Oak Cliff wouldnt wanna go past 7pm. However, once you get inside youre greeted warmly by the regulars, and the service is outstanding. If you ride your bike there you get one free beer, and then drink at happy hour prices. Theres a smoking patio in the back we put our bikes, in case youre worried about leaving your bike out in the area. To become a member, you just give them your id CPR your info. The only draft beer is a barely cold Bud light, but they have a full Selection of bottles beer and cocktails. They also make pizzas from scratch, which Im gonna try next time. Its the kind of bar my dad would take me to as a kid. Anyway, it looks like Ive got my new regular hangout spot in Tradewinds. couldnt ask for a better local bar, or better service. The bar tender Izzys the best.

Its a dive bar allright. In fact, if theres a picture next to the word "dive bar" in the dictionary, itd be of Tradewinds. Most nights its just you, the bartender, and some drunken barflies, some nights a bored DJ or a local "band" (I am using that term loosely) plays in the back portion. Theres a patio if you want to smoke and some food if you really need to have food from a dive bar.

Tradewinds, est.1968 still serving stiff drinks till this day. Parking in front and side of building, in the back on the hill, or across the street in front of the gas station. Karaoke and live music regularly. cheap drinks, and really amazing food. New chef with an great vision. Freshly made burgers, hand tossed pizza and other mouthwatering appetizers! all walks of life welcome!

Interesting little hole in the wall bar. Looks pretty rundown both inside and out. Wouldnt trust the food here as there are MASSIVE cockrochaes everywhere. May as well stay at the bar if you want service, but even then if youre not a "regular" dont even bother trying to make it happen. Wouldnt go back if I had to.

This place is ridiculous! Worst bar in town! Their beer is always warm, drinks weak and way too pricey for a dive bar. The new owner is too sensitive. The owner might have a sissy fit if something is said about this hole in the wall place. I couldnt even close my tab BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!

Yes its a real bar. I was suspicious the first time I went in. And expect there to be questionable bathrooms and a PBR special. But the guys run it well and get rid of the riff raff. Once we were inside, the atmosphere was super chill and I would go back again.
