If youre a minority I wouldnt bother going to this place. They have completely went out of their way to show us that we are not wanted in there. The first time I accessed the juke box from the app provided I was pleasantly surprised to see that the variety of music was more than a lot of places I had been to. Anything I could think of was available. Which was mainly R&B and Hip Hop. Sunday has appeared to be the day when minorities go there so the crowd was appropriate for such music. And not to mention I PAID to play it. So we come back a couple weeks later, on a Sunday again. Proceeded to play some of the songs I played the time prior to only to discover it was all gone. Everything what was played, thought about playing, scrolled by EVERYTHING. What jukebox has not 1 Whitney or Mariah song??? This one!! So Im pretty nifty. I was able to find songs on compilation albums and other tricks. So after hours of dominating the jukebox and spending PLENTY of money we were ready to leave so I stopped playing songs. As were waiting on my last song to play it starts for about two seconds and then skips to the next song. When I went to the bar to ask what happened one bartender said I have nothing to do with that and pointed to another male bartender. I asked what happened. I said my song played and then you skipped it. He said he put it on shuffle and he cant skip songs which is a lie. The skipping option has been verified by an employee if you read through the reviews. I said my songs have been playing first because Im paying extra for play next but now shuffle trumps that? He stood there looking bewildered. He at least could have been man enough to say he skipped my song instead of lying about it. So we went back a few weeks later. Tried to log onto the app and couldnt. I have phone issues at times so I tried a friends phone only to discover the same with his phone. After asking a bartender what was up with the app we were informed that the app has been turned off. ON SUNDAYS ONLY. Stating management didnt like some of the music being played. Which was an inconvenience but no biggie. Played a handful of songs on the jukebox this time. Didnt wanna stand at the unit. Out of six songs two played. The first and the last. That was my last time going. Ill never give them another dollar. So if youre a minority dont waste your time. If youre white youre right so go in and enjoy yourself. If I could give no stars I would.

It was my first night out with my husband since the birth of my son. I was sitting on a plush red velour sofa watching a game of pool enjoying a glass of wine when out of nowhere two men start fighting and land on top of me. Theyre punching each other and Im stuck there beneath them (glasses pushing into my face). I am slapping from below and they are steady fighting. Finally, I ball my fists and hit instead of slap and they get off. I look up and my husband had been the one to pull them off of me. The two men move the fight over and my husband screams at the bouncer for watching and not helping. The bouncer decides to blame us and throws us out all the while trying to taze us (mind you, the fight is still going on on the sofa). I tell him I was just sitting there and was innocent. He chases us out cussing & steady shooting a tazer at me. I am quick-walking back to my car (back facing the bouncer) and bouncer still in pursuit (I guess he left the guys there fighting). I see the guy shooting his tazer in my periphery. At this point, Im sick of this mans stupidity so I stop, turn around and face him. I calmy state with conviction, "It wont work. Ive done nothing wrong. Im protected." The jerk pointed it strait to my chest and shot anyway! But...nothing! I laugh. He hit the gun against his hand, I guess to fix it and again, nothing! "I told you it wouldnt work because I am protected. Besides, I was leaving anyway." I dont know what the guy saw but he jumped and took off running as fast as he possible could back to that dreadful place. I never returned. I was miraculously protected, but even God has His limits. I saw The Grapevine at its worst. Sorry I visited all those years in college. I think I went on, "Lets taze a woman that got jumped on by two strange men night." Disgusted. Thanks to my sons angels. Im truly sorry for making them work overtime that night. I think 20x before going anywhere and never went to ANY shady place again. Id still like to know what the guy saw that made his voice squeal and him run hysterically. #lovemynewmamapower

Well, the night we were bar hopping, we happened upon this tiny building that said the Grapevine on it. And we proceeded to drink and have fun! Its dark, its "cozy," its a dive bar. The deck area is awesome if you can fit in (it was a tad busy). Its probably one of the most unique bars weve been to in a while. I cant exactly put my finger on it, but youll have to come try it out for yourself! Just dont miss it... its a little red building with a neon sign... thats it. Nothing flashy, no crazy signs, no stupid people outside. Just people having fun. I suppose its the way a bar was meant to be? But I wasnt around when bars were first discovered, so... theres that. Anywho, Sun-Tues happy hours until close (which is AWESOME!), other drink specials, and just an all around fun environment. Oh, and they have a freaking basketball court. So if NOTHING else gets you to come here, then come play basketball... at a bar... ok?

I normally have a great time at this establishment. Monday night I came in for a quick drink. 30 minutes later...Came out and someone had backed into my vehicle. Returning inside, I calmly asked to speak with a manager. Cant remember what her name was but she was behind the bar and blonde. I asked if there were cameras in the parking lot, so I can have information for a police report and insurance information. I was basically told in an extremely rude manner that there was nothing that she could or WOULD do. I was then followed out by a bouncer and this same manager. Im 54 130lbs. Was it supposed to be intimidating? Also what was the point of you coming out if you WONT help. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I cant believe I havent reviewed this place yet. Ive only been once or twice *snicker* but they seem to have the whole bar thing down. Ok, truth be told, I come here just about everyday. The bartenders are the best in the business, the drinks are cheap and strong, and the crowd is amazing. A lot of bars that you walk into, just have bad energy. You feel this weight on you and dont know why. This place is the complete opposite. When Im having a bad day (lately it seems to be too many of those), all I have to do is come in here, and I immediately feel better. There is just such a great vibe to this place. In conclusion, strong drink, low price, and great energy.
