Very cool setting with the outdoor deck and wide open spacious indoor seating where you can see them roast the pizza in the corner. Prices were a bit high for the quality of pizza I got. We were in a party of around 15 people and the waitress refused to split our checks because of some "policy" they had. It was a Sunday afternoon at 2 and we were one of 5 tables in the restaurant. To accommodate for it, we each individually had to add up what we bought and then apply tax and one by one give our card to her so she could ring it up. She rolled her eyes more and more with each card and snapped at the back half of the table because it was taking too long. Needless to say, this was a bad impression for me as it was my first visit. I just wish we had been treated more nicely as we were celebrating a work birthday for a coworker. We all work in the food industry and have Sundays off for friendship and worship and are greatful to go to restaurants and tip well for great service, but when the server is rude and rushes a party out, we cant help but walk out with negative outlooks on the experience. The date of our visit was 2/26/17 and we were there from 12:30 to about 2. Our waitress was a tall thin brunette and I would seriously recommend a training class for her on how to please guests and be genuine.

No self-respecting Italian would call this authentic my mother is from Italy I have been there for several years also raised in Bay Ridge New York AKA Little Italy we have a restaurant and our family still open to this day for 103 years the Kooks are not Italian and try real hard but cannot handle that kind of oven they have the dough recipe is absolutely terrible and always has a jawline in the middle of their crust the last three times I tried this place they use bolognese sauce in their lasagna who does that thats not correct there is no true "farnatchi" working in that kitchen. They just pump a lot of money inter marketing to get people to show up I gave him 3 chances and then I will never go back you can if they give me free food for a year its not good so even if its free still no good again the staff is nice and the cooks try real hard but its ownership and management just doesnt do Fair Justice

The pizza here is very delicious and something about a 900° oven intrigues me. The usual plan is to get a pizza and dessert to split. So far the Honey Bastard is my favorite. There is a perfect balance of spicy sweet heat and salty meats that go great with a cold tea. This location also has a really great shaded patio area that I really enjoyed. Using the directions provided by Google Maps put the car in a wierd spot as we had to walk around half the block to find the restaurant... When coming from White Rock, the trick would be to not turn right on Gaston, but to turn into the shopping center just after the Gaston intersection. If you do turn onto Gaston make a left on to Tucker and then a second left into the shopping center up the hill.

Overpriced, overhyped doughy pizza. I have no idea why this pizza is so highly rated. The critics must have been bought. The pizza came out and was kinda cold. It didnt have much flavor. Even pizza from Pizza hut is better than this. I would rather eat a stuffed crust pizza. We had angioletti for an appetizer. It sounds fancy, but really it was just breadsticks and again it was not very good. It was doughy too. We had a carafe of sangria too which was overpriced and hardly had any alcohol. Also, we were seated outside and we were never asked if we wanted inside or outside. It was a chilly evening and we were cold. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

The food here is not only delicious but seems very healthy for you! I say seems because I could be wrong, but the pizza is flatbread, not greasy, and has healthy toppings on it. Even the appetizers are very healthy. The pizza is also meant to be eaten with a knife and fork. I didnt really know this until I googled Neapolitan pizza and found that out. Our first visit we had no idea and tried to eat it with our hands, being semi-successful. My husband still tries to eat it with his hands though, and how you eat it is all up to you! The wait staff are also very friendly and professional.

I love this place! My boyfriend and I have been eating here for at least 3 years now, and I rarely eat any other kind of pizza anymore. Fave pizza: the Honey Badger. Fave appetizers: the Capra salad may be my favorite salad ever, and there is no reason that the Angioletti should be so good since its just some kind of bread, but gah! So good! The deserts. Are. Ridiculous. All of them, but the Edgar may be my favorite, but maybe the Ladybird... Waitstaff had always been friendly and attentive, and we like both of the locations near us. (Deep Ellum and White Rock ).

I have traveled across Italy in pursuit of the best Neapolitan pizza. I have eaten countless Neapolitan pies and have tasted some of the finest pizza in the world. In short, I am more than qualified to share my opinion about what true Napolatina pizza tastes like. In light of all of this, I have to say that this restaurant does an exceptional job of recreating the authentic tastes and flavors of true Neapolitan pizza. The crust is perfect: Crispy on the edges and wet and soggy in the middle. I highly recommend it this restaurant to the Neapolitan pizza connoisseur.

I really dont know what all the hype is about. My wife and I love pizza, and we always look forward to trying a new restaurant. The place and location, I believe is half the reason it gets such great reviews, but when it comes to the service and quality of food, they start losing points quickly. I will say that the ingredients are OK, nothing to boast about. The dough, I just cant. Its a thin pizza but not even crispy, whats the point of a thin crust? All in all, i doubt I will return, pizza is too precious to be waisted on a soggy thin slice of dough.

My friend made me write a review but dude talk about accommodating. I came to a wedding rehearsal not expecting to eat anything due to my pretentious vegan diet, BUT not only did they take the cheese off of the appetizer- they made a kick ass veggie pizza. I ate the entire thing. an entire pizza. I immediately felt the need for a nice cat nap. Right when I started to drift to sleep they came out with some watermelon gelato. :-)

It doesnt matter what you go to Cane Rosso for because its always delicious. Ive been for birthdays, date night, end of semester stuff, its Thursday, and it doesnt matter. Always delicious, always welcoming, and always impressive. The waitstaff at both locations does a great job to make you feel welcome and cared for despite always having a packed house during prime hours. 10/10 would recommend.

DELICIOUS PIZZA! Ask for the Honey Bastard, its not on the menu but is one of my favorites! anything with hot soppressata, the bacon marmalade or soppressata marmalade is delicious! Ask for Kelseys section. She is great. If shes behind the bar, even better. She makes great cocktails and great conversation!
