I dont know what everyone else is talking about, this place was horrible. Ive been to mediocre Chinese buffets where at least the rice was edible, but here I almost broke a tooth on the pork fried rice. Nothing was edible and a 2 person buffet cost 30 dollars? . Egg drop soup tasted burnt and like chicken fat, and the food was undercooked. The breads were doughy. The wait staff didnt pick up plates until they were all stacked on each other. No wonder the place was empty. The only thing we ate was the dessert and I dont think they even make the desserts. This place is a waste of space. Oh and while paying there was a young couple who were very upset. Apparently someone had said some racist remark to them or something and the man up front yelled at them like he didnt care because it wasnt him. He said if you want to talk to someone about it talk to the guy who said it. And even after they left he was yelling at us about what happened to them. I felt terrible for them. I saw they were upset from the minute we walked in. I wish I had said something for them. We were just very eager to get out of there and never come back. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Save yourself a bad experience and go to the Chinese buffet off of the south loop. Its much better.

We came to eat here for the first time a couple weeks ago, around 7pm on a Tuesday I believe. It was really warm upon entering but whatever, thats not the cause of a low rating. The waitress was attentive. Thats about the only positive thing I have to say. The rest is just no good. The sushi was warm. WARM. I grabbed general tsos chicken and when I bit in to it, it turned in to mush in my mouth. Chicken shouldnt do that. Their buffet selection is very sparse and I think I circled it like 4 times and tried whatever looked at least a little appetizing (with no luck) before deciding Id just stick with the crab rangoons. It was the only thing worth eating. Their dessert selection is laughable and honestly even their fruit was questionable. My husband ordered from the wok and said it was okayish but nothing great. Weve had way better buffet food elsewhere. Im not even sure how this place has above 2.5 stars. We wont be back. Im really surprised we didnt get sick. Id rather spend more money at Panda Express honestly.

Id like to start by saying that I dont usually post reviews. We were driving through town and wanted a cheapish place that would fill us up. Chinese buffet fits the bill right? Now with those qualifiers my standards are pretty low. Id probably give an average Chinese buffet 3 stars. I am not a picky eater. But I was spitting things into napkins here. The salmon on the sushi was warm, the ribs were fatty, most foods over-salted (even by Chinese food standards), stuffed clams were mostly mayo, and when I tried the hibachi the quantity of oil spurted onto the grill was incredibly off-putting. Some foods were ok. One employee was along around the buffet with s heating light... not a good sign. However, our server was on point - always ready to clear plates and bring more napkins, always smiling. Would not stop again :(

Way over priced! $10.99/person for garbage! Disgusting food! Sour macaroni and cheese. Raw "fried shrimp". Tough chewy eggrolls. Bbq ribs taste like cockroaches. Dried out crunchy rice. Cheese sticks taste like fried in fish oil. "Hibachi grill" meat and veggies looked as if theyd been sitting out for days. Beef on a stick was cold and tough. French fries were cold and hard. Wasnt brave enough to try soups as they all looked oily and unnatural. Stomach achey and gurgling now...better not get sick! Managers excuse for poor quality food was "its a buffet. We cant have all fresh food all the time." Still expected us to pay full price even after letting them know about the quality their food lacked. I wouldnt send my worst enemy there to eat! Someone should notify the health department!

Ive lived in the Conroe area for nearly a year, and this is BY FAR the best buffet my wife and I have tried. At Chinese buffets I tend to stick to a few simple staple dishes that are hard to mess up, but after my first pass I was so impressed with the quality that I ended up trying a little bit of nearly everything. I didnt even make it to the sushi or hibachi, the hot entrees were so terrific. My wife and I come from a city thats known as a hub for American Chinese food, and this place stands up to any Chinese buffet weve tried. The salt and pepper shrimp (which I think they call butter shrimp) is as good or better than versions of that dish Ive paid five times the price for. Wow, just found our new favorite restaurant in town.

Staff were friendly and always asked before removing our plates. Our waiter always made sure our drinks were filled. The food is really decent. They have soups, variety kinds of chicken including pineapple chicken, Kung Pao chicken and more. They even serve sushi, desserts, fruits, variety of ice cream and like others said they have a chocolate fountain to dip bananas or marshmallow in. The food is warm and tasty. I really enjoy this place and have come here several times. The price is really decent since considering all the variety of food it has, friendliness and good quality food. (10 dollars per person on weekends as of this date)

Mideocre at best, your typical Chinese buffet minus the flavor. Most of the selection was low, you could tell that the food had been there for quite some time.if it werent for discription tags, it was difficult to tell one dish from the other. Wonton soup with no wontons? Now its just broth..Pizza and frogs legs? I guess we ran out of ideas to fill the tables. The wait staff, when you did see someone, looked as though they came from washing dishes to check on things. i can find dozens of other places to waste my money..disappointing...

I stopped visiting this grill because the food was beginning to drop in quality being left over on the steam table too long and even cold at times. I revisited them last week to find the quality was back from days of old and even new dishes of shrimp which I loved. The have recaptured my attention and I will be back again soon to enjoy more of the new menu. The service was slow and had to wait a long time to get the table serviced but its worth it for the food they now serve. If quality drops again I will be back to report on it.
