A group of us 5-10 guys go there twice a month at least. We go there because they always have the games on, no other reason. Food is okay and service is okay. However, this last Sunday we went by found a table, sat down.. sat there for about 10 minutes no one greeted us or took a drink order. We were waiting on two buddies to show up so werent in a hurry. Another 5 minutes goes by and our buddies show up and sit down. We are right by the bar so the employees can clearly see we are there. We wait a few more minutes with no greeting, no drink order no hi we will be right with you just waitresses walking by looking at us and ignoring us. We wait a couple more minutes, stand up and walk out with not a single word for a single manager or employee. Luckily the Mexican restaurant in the same parking lot always has great food and great service. This is not the first time we have had an issue here but once again, we go there because they always have the game on. One Sunday we go by and wait over an hour for our food. I ask the waitress if she has an idea when our food will be out. She replies, "It will be done when its done" and walks off. We have never seen or talked to a manager. They let the waitresses run the show and hang our and BS with each other while customers wait 15 minutes to get a salad that comes out with your meal instead of before like you asked.

My wife and I decided to try this place and we were severely disappointed. First it started with waiting nearly 10-15 min before a server came to take our drink order. We order the loaded cheese fries as the appetizer when we ordered our drinks. The server brought our drinks, took our food order and it was another 15-20 min before our appetizer came out. When we did get our "loaded" cheese fries, there was no bacon, just cheese and some fries. Just a note, the description in the menu said the fries came with bacon. Lets move on to our actual food, my wife ordered the Cajun Turkey Club. When the sandwich came out, the turkey looked like it had been pulled from an oscar Myers package, thrown in a pan, still stuck together and then thrown on the sandwich. The avacado was lumped all together, at least it was fresh. The final straw, it came with half a strip of bacon, a half of a single strip. Sorry to say we will not be coming back. My food was a bacon cheese burger, hard to mess that up.

My husband and I are fans of the Tailgators on 2920, but were interested to try the 242 Pub (which is formerly Tailgators). Upon entering, we were surprised to see no one seating guests. Another table had to tell us "just sit anywhere." The server was polite and quick with our orders, but having a certain level of expectation of the food, we were a bit disappointed with the boneless wings. Some pieces large, some simply over-fried, hard bits of batter. The thing that really dissatisfied us was some comments coming from the booth behind us. Apparently, the gentleman sitting behind us was either an owner, manager, or regular. When speaking to the young man running the poker night activity, he made some off color comments regarding the United airlines incident which were rude and uncalled for. Maybe they would not have offended others, but we were unimpressed and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

We walked in and were excited. The place seemed clean, lots of people, and we sat down. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and crawfish on the first visit from a waitress. We got our drinks and appetizers. After an hour we started noticing everyone around us, 4 tables, started getting their crawfish and those table were seated well after wed been there. We asked and were told they were sorry but they had run out of crawfish. We were told our order was given to someone else. Then a guy come on the speaker saying some more crawfish had arrived. But the waitress said itd be 45 minutes or more before they could have any ready. We had already been there a little over an hour and had to leave because of babysitter schedule issues. We had fried pickles, boudin bites, and a bucket of six bottles of Miller lights. The manager knocked off the appetizers and 2 beers. Leaving us with a $15.16 bill for 4 bottles of beer.

MAGNOLIA LOCATION I am a long time Tailgators customer. Unfornately the food and management have gone down hill. It appears the focus is on a new location opening and not ensuring quality and good service in the current location. The managers are more interested in playing grab ass with the waitresses and not running the resturant. We have waited almost an hour on several occasions lately for Crawfish if you can believe that, just to get over cooked, tiny tiny crawfish. The manager has the balls to tell us the shells are soft, like this is the first time we have eaten crawfish. The fact is they are running short staffed in the kitchen with inexperienced cooks. Over priced, crappy service, and crappier management. We will eat our crawfish elsewhere this season. Wake up management before this chain is gone too. You have taken a great concept and are buring it quickly. We are disappointed.

I have personally been to this location many times. The management and staff are very nice and provide great service. More Big TVs than u can shake a stick at! The food is "delish"! There is almost always a special, and one of the best is BOGO Burgers, every Wednesday night I believe. Awesome! Smoking is ok after 9PM and they also have a nice covered area with 2 TVs that will accommodate smoking all hours. Sometimes I get even faster service when I am out there. THE BEST place to watch sports, throw darts, shoot pool, meet friends and family or just to grab a COLD DRINK and some friendly convo’ See you there. Steven

The cook knows how to boil crawfish right- coming from a Louisiana cajun but I have had a couple bad experiences with one female bartender that has very bad listening skills and an attitude from hell! She is a brunette with tatts and dyed ends of her shoulder length hair! I ask her every time she makes a drink for me not to put any soda so she puts Sprite and argues with me about Sprite not being SODA!! Then she charges me double when I ask her to remake it without SPRITE!! I think she is the one everyone else is complaining about in their reviews!!! Management needs to do something with her!!

I went here on a Friday night because they advertise having karaoke, and I decided I wanted to check out out. I couldnt have been more disappointed. "Karaoke" was a DJ playing your typical hip-hop, pop and pop-country tracks. If you wanted to sing, then you go up and let them know. But at no point did the DJ even advertise that there was karaoke, nor did anyone sing. The food was great, and Im sure I would like it here a bit more if I was into loud crowds and sports fanatics, but as a karaoke joint I would avoid it at all costs!

The new 242 location, is a re-blessing. We were regulars at the old 242 location and after it shut down we went 2 times a week to the 1488 location. Now that they turned halftimes into a Tailgators. We got out refrigerator back. Literally there 3 to 4 times a week. Wing Tuesday, best wings in town (get them double fried)and the more experience the cooks get the better the food. Dwayne, Apryl, Katie, Emily, Jess, AJ, Trey, and the whole staff just great people. Great place really good food and close to home.
