Its good for a quick stop I guess but their selection is limited. And like all Brookshire Bros, a bit more expensive. Also, be careful opening doors in the frozen food section. I opened the door for some chicken and bbq sauce busted and spilled everywhere. Apparently, shelving condiments on active opening doors there is their thing. Also, check expiration dates on Kombucha. I have bought some there in the past, only to swig a big gulp of rancid Kombucha. I called and told the lady at customer service and she acted like she could care less. The staff is somewhat friendly but not very personable, everyone kind of keeps to themselves it seems.

My husband and I would like to get a quick meal from the deli department. The meals were always fresh, prices were good and portions were a generous size. But all of this has gone downhill. We went for lunch today and the scoops of sides were not full and only one slice of meatloaf came with the meal. The meatloaf slice was not very big. An extra slice was $3.49. I had the chicken strips which was rubbery and cold. The fountain drinks didnt taste right. As if the lines have not been cleaned. Very disappointed, it was so good at one point.

I like the grill/bakery area as it has take out food or dine in area if you want to eat there. They have a pretty big menu to order from. Food is good but is lacking some creativity to make some of their items more flavorful. They serve alcohol here which is cool as they are a grocery store. I think its neat they have exotic meats here like shark, alligator, and frog legs. Their produce section is good as well and diverse enough for me. Great place to shop, we find amazing ginger root here and is better than HEB we found.

Clean, organized and much needed on the north side of the lake!! Great fresh fruit and veggie selection, awesome deli and salad bar, serves all meals FRESH with unique items. DEF NOT your typical grocery store!! Even has daily Happy Hours with local craft beers and wine!! Its a must-go place! And cool views of the lake and sunset from the outside dining patio area...like I said, not your typical grocery store! *would have given it 5*s but the regular, every day items can be a little pricey.

Sorry excuse for a "super" market! Rarely do they stock enough of their advertised sale items to last more than three days while the ads runs for a week. The deli cant keep employees long enough to get well trained. All their items are overpriced and you would be saving money by going to any dollar store or 7/11. If you have the time you can also save money and actually get customer service ( what a concept ) by going to HEB.

We shop here because its close to our house. But honestly, Id go to HEB, if we had one. The fresh foods selection is small. And everything is soooo expensive! $5 for a Red Baron pizza that I pay $3 for at HEB or Walmart? Are you kidding me? The associates are friendly and the line is never long. So if you need something, its ok to run in and get. But if you can hold out for some place less expensive, Id recommend that.

Awesome store especially for where it is located. Amazing selection of produce and specialty items. Was not expecting that. It has the feel of a whole foods or central market. They did a great job with this store. No need to shop in the big city when going to spend the weekend on Canyon lake. You can get everything you need right here.

Very clean with a great produce selection. The deli has a wide selection of ready to eat hot and cold food choices as well as a made to order menu such as hamburgers, pizza and more! Great for outings or to enjoy out back in the relaxing beer garden with a great Lake view. Us locals are really gonna MISS YOU Ms. Cheryl!!!

Its larger than a convenience store, but the prices are about the same as a convenience store. Ill continue using it as a convenience store and hope that HEB gets their new store going at 306 at 281. Weekly shopping wont be done at Brookshire Brothers unless they reduce their prices in line with HEB.

We stopped in to check this place out when we thought we were moving close and lets just say the grocery store nearly sold us all by itself. Great selection. And they had food and beer with a patio to grab a quick snack. Seriously it was grocery store heaven... I only wish we moved closer.

Im happy that they added this place, and its a good place too. The only drawback is they seem to never have enough help, and they close to early being they are the only grocery store for miles it would be more convenient if they were open 24/7. For that reason I deduct 2 stars.

Great place that has been needed for a very long time at Canyon Lake. They have a wonderful staff, good food in the deli, and a spectacular design for the store. The spicy chicken has a good flavor and is not super spicy for those with a mild taste buds.

This is a really nice store with lots of nice employees. We had an awesome time on their patio in the evening. They had a gathering with a singer. We met an awesome couple. Enjoyed their company as well as our drinks and food.

They are always friendly and open when I am down here. All of the aisles are always stocked and clean. If I cant find something, there is somebody that I can ask. HEB could take a lesson (or two from these guys and gals)

Happy there is a regular grocery store in the area. Things are easy to find, and there is good product selection. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The only negative is that it is a little pricey.
