3½ stars. Located in a run-down strip mall, its not in or near downtown Boerne (not that its a long drive). The storefront windows and door were filthy and in need of cleaning and/or repair. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The ambiance is completely lacking. The only decor are some local football uniforms and a pretty cool graffiti wall. Theres nothing to draw your eye. The salad was good: fresh and tasty; certainly, not great. The true star here is the pizza. New York style: thin, crispy, and just slightly under-charred. Sauce is good. Toppings are fresh. Overall, this pie is above average. No beer or liquor license, but they have a bring your own policy with no corkage fee for wine. It seems a nice place for locals to relax and have a good pie at a reasonable price. With some cleaning up, nicer decor, and a slightly better pie it would earn 4 stars.

Ive tried Broken Stone Pizza twice since theyve opened, and its great. The sauce is really good, you can taste the garlic and they put just enough cheese on it. This last visit we ordered a ham and feta pizza. My fiance isnt one for anything but pepperoni, and he loved it. It is really affordable, too. We both ate for less than $15. The owners are really friendly and super outgoing. The only downside to the visit was the waitstaff. They employee a very large group of high school kids, which is great to support the community, but this must be their first job. Our waitress was really snappy and lacked anything close to manners. Of course, Ill go back. It just kind of puts a damper on the experience.

Thats 2 hours of my life that I will never get back. Not sure who is running the kitchen, but apparently the to-go orders and deliveries took priority over our dinner order. Waitress assured us this "never" happens and that they were just short handed and it was "crazy back there". Funny because the family that came in 45 minutes after us was served their meal the same time we were served 4 of the 5 meals we ordered. Im happy to report though that we never have to go back there again. Keep driving into town, there are a number of places in Boerne with better food and better service.

The location in Kerrville is just horrible. My family and I went in to have dinner and it was a joke. We placed our order and was told in 15 min it would be ready not true 40 min later. Then the other familys and to go orders were wrong. Plus one of the employees that was taking food to the tables just looks at us and walks away twice. After I get up ask were our order was and they placed it as a to go order the cashier said oh i forgot to make it a dining in order. What a joke of a place

Amazingly horrible pizza. Take a good crust, ruin it with Kraft arificial cheese and Campbells tomato soup, then overcook it in a brick oven. "Oh. Best pizza in Boerne" sheez. Sorry for the bad review but what do u expect when someone is expected to pay for what is sub part ingredients. BTW what you call pasta is actually overcooked Roma noodles. I had to toss it away. And check my other reviews out for.places that are actually good. Im not a spammer. This place really does suck

Food was great and our waitress was very happy to see us. We got there after the lunchtime rush and I think that is the secret to the complaints of slow service. At busy times, even McDonalds get over whelmed and they have 10 or 15 people working. Please be patient, the food is worth it. The meatballs are really fantastic. If you order the cheese steak pizza, make sure you ask for the cheese-whiz as a topping, its worth it.

This place is the best. And David Weis obviously has NO EARTHLY IDEA what he is talking about. The cheese is the highest quality mozzarella a food provider will offer, and the sauce is made fresh daily. The "overcooked Ramen" is a homemade pasta noodle authentic to Italy. A bit pricy but I personally know the work that goes into it and its worth every penny

Pizza was tasty, service was quick and friendly and the prices were reasonable. If you are looking for a place off of Main but with good food then come here. And ask for Kara, she is an awesome waitress, even if she is a vegetarian from California :)

So I order a pizza for delivery last Friday and give a good tip. Try to order today and the owner says they cant deliver to us. WOW bad business. Dont vote for them on the 2013 Best of the Best Readers Choice in the Boerne Star.

Have only lived in Boerne a couple of months, but this has quickly become my favorite place. Lots of options and they taste great. Since food is made to order, it may take a while, but it is worth it. You can always call it in!

Ordered 2 pizzas, pepperoni had barely any pepperoni, the cheese tasted old. The Mediterranean delight was good, so pretty sure our pizzas werent cooked together, didnt care for the box fee either, wont be back.

We enjoyed both a large pizza and a calzone. Both were good! Pizza was seasoned well, a *little* on the greasy side...BUT Im sure the pepperoni contributed to that! Wasnt impressed with the magherita pizza.

We placed a $9 to go order and made small talk with friendly people while waiting. They let local students write on the walls (not sure why, but that was really neat). Just plain nice folks.
