" " " THE WORST RESTAURANT EVER " " " On 6/10/2017 my husband and I decided to stop and eat at this restaurant. We would always go past this restaurant on our way to OK and then back to San Antonio. Now, I wished we would have gone to another restaurant ( 1 blk over) in Blanco, Tx. 1) The Hostess was very, very unfriendly 2) The Waitress had an attitude, as well 3) Other Staff Workers saw my husband and I were waiting for a long time to place our order. NO ONE would get our Waitress or take our order 4) Our Waitress was waiting on the table behind us. And we still kept on waiting for someone to come and take our oder. 5) After 20 minutes of being there our order was finally taken. In 20 minutes later our order arrived. My " Marios Polo " was burnt and beware that the Chicken is a small Thigh, cut in half, in order to look like 1 Chicken Breast. The Grilled Vegs on my plate was "Burnt to a Crisp and beyond their identity. 6) There was no problems with rushing the check to our table. 7) We had to continually wait for our Waitress to pick up our payment. 8) Got Tired of waiting went to the front Desk and paid our bill. I had to ask the Front Hostess 3 times in less then 3 minutes, for a large take home box... Save yourself money and time, head 1 blk North of this restaurant and check out a "Real Restaurant"...

Once seated it took about 10 minutes before they acknowledged us. Each of us ordered a salad and blackberry cobbler. We waited another 10 minutes for the salad but had no dressing. I decided to start timing and it took 8 more minutes to get dressing. Then our cobbler came and it was icebox cold- looked as if it wasnt cooked. It took us several minutes to get someones attention and they took our cobbler and said they would replace it with fresh heated cobbler. The second cobbler came out in a minute or two the fastest service of the night. Well it was just as cold as the first cobbler and the Crust did not seem as if it had been cooked at all. honestly all we could do is laugh - I swear we were being punked However, the beans were good , the salad and ranch dressing were good and priced well.

We ate lunch here today, had the fish and chips special...battered cod filets with fries, coleslaw, and the free pinto beans. My husband subbed onion rings for the fries for a dollar more. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The tartar sauce was homemade, cocktail sauce was good. We had 3 good-sized cod filets and 2 jalapeño hush puppies each. Onion rings were also homemade. Good food, good price. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are in the area.

I ordered a burger and when I got it it was still raw I told the waitress it was raw she said Thats the way they make them there and I told her thats weird to she ask me do you want another one I said fine just if they could leave it longer on the grill so she took it to the cook and explained it to him and someone made a racial slur by saying "what does he want it Mexican burn or what" and I just got this feeling like Hispanics were not welcome there I wont recommend this place to anyone

We come once or twice almost every weekend. Food is always consistently good. Service can be spotty and may be attributable to management trying to save labor cost by being understaffed for busy times. A young waitress today could use a little personality. Saw her plunk down a to go order in front of a waiting customer with no "here you go maam" and walk away without a "thank you, have a good day. "

My experience was horrible. We had 2 groups of people behind us get their food and almost done eating by the time we got our food. My pulled pork was dry and nasty. We never got refills on anything nor did we see the waitress at our table unless she was dropping food off. My little girl told them their ceiling fan was leaking water and they never did anything. I will not be going back.

First time here and will probably be the last stopped in and ate while headed on vacation, waitress said they had no straws to begin with ask for sweet tea she brought unsweetened ask her for sweet she said that was after asking her about anything it ended in a sigh gave it 2 stars because food was alright and atmosphere was nice other than that not worth bragging

This was my first experience eating here in Blanco and I must say that I am impressed. My wife had the Shrimp dinner and I had the Big Texan burger: no complaints found here. The food tastes great (the burger was big, too) and the price was right. The fried pickles are an excellent choice, as well. We will definitely come back when we are in the area again.

Im not a big fan of this place. Food is decent but sometimes tastes microwaved. Staff is always friendly but some days service is fast and other days its slow. Im honestly surprised that they stay as busy as they do. Their location is great and I feel like this could be a great restaurant if they find a more competent cook, and some new recipes to boot.

Stay away from this place! My wife took one bite of her chicken sandwich and pushed it aside. I believe that this chicken was left out too long, she said. Our waiter never came back over to ask how the food was, I think she already knew... Within an hour my wife had a slight case of food poisoning. luckily she only had one bite.

Place was almost empty and tables were pilled with dirty dishes. After being shown our table the waitress said it would take 45 mins before the food would be served. I dont understand why it would take 45 mins to cook a hamburger in a place that had maybe 8 tables filled. We left and had a great meal at the the old 300 BBQ.

Definitely on my visit again list!!!Stopped while driving through on a Saturday night. Great service, very tasty Mushroom and Swiss burger! The wait staff was very kind and asked if there was anything we needed for our 1 year old son and even turned on the green and red kitchen lights to keep his attention.

This place could be so much better. It is dirty, dated and run like a nursing home. No mind seems to be paid to the customers, "theyll get what we give them and theyll like it!". The service is very slow, and it took almost an hour to get two patty melts, which were school cafeteria grade.

Took an hour to get order. Guy next to us had to send his cold baked potato back twice..he finally told them to put it in a microwave! My broccoli was burnt..how do you burn broccoli. Food was not so so...bowling alley is much better!!! Mike describes the food as cold and mediocre.

Been wanting to come here for a while now. Was not what I expected at all. Im pretty sure they serve the same chicken tenders as Sonic. Waiting for silverware for 10 minutes wasnt the greatest either. Maybe if the waitress ever came by the table I could have let her know.....
