7 year old girl, trying to learn how to make orders and hand money, waited in line for a long order, then a man walks up to make an order and the cashier tries to take his order before the little girl. The man says the little girl was first so she makes her small blizzard order and stand back to wait. The cashier takes the mans order then makes his Sunday. A family of 4 walks in, she takes their order and makes mom a orange julius. Then she makes the three other people their orders, all orders needing some kind of mixing with ice cream. The little girl is still standing and waiting. That is about the time I said, have you forgotten her she has been patiently waiting. The cashier says, her order is being made. Another cashier working the drive thru window, starts making the order. I told them how rude they were to ignore a child that way. Not an I am sorry, not one single condolence! YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED for not providing better customer service to a CHILD! It took a lot of courage for this little girl to walk up to the counter! The cashier was the skin head older lady with the tats! Been there for years, which makes her incompetence even a bigger crime! Sure we will be back, not much else in this town. Still your store should have pride for the community and cleanliness and your staff needs to learn some customer service skills.

I frequently travel north/south on HW 281 from San Antonio to the Fort Hood area and often stop at this DQ location. I can honestly say that more often than not, the service here leaves a lot to be desired. The workers here are SLOWERRRR than molassis in the dead of winter and over half the time, somehow mixing up simple orders...no sense of urgency and customer service. They move at a purposed snails pace when this location never really has any large meal rushes whether lunch or dinner as it would typically be like in the middle of San Antonio during lunch for example. My wife likes the icecream and some of the specials but my goodness folks, even before this restaurant was rebuilt, it was still a mixed-up operation and still is. When I travel 281 on my own, I usually wait to stop and eat in Marble Falls. The management/owner should start reading and follow up on these ratings and reviews and make an effort to improve the quality of service...or replace employees with low performance standards. With these consistantly low ratings, I can bet that these problems exist somewhere near the top.

This had to be the worst service and unprofessional behavior ever. Stopped in on our way to San Antonio, the staff were playing around, telling lude jokes, making rude comments about customers and each other. The manager, I think his name was Wesley, was on his cell just about the entire time. There were customers waiting for orders and getting upset at how long it was taking to get their ice cream, while the staff goofed off in back! The manager put food down a female employees shirt in view of customers, they were slapping butts, talking about personal things loudly, it was horrible! No management skills at all! Then to top things off,we ordered a cherry sundae and I was given ice cream with a few marachino cherries on top! We were told by the manager they no longer carried cherry topping so we asked for a refund. Ridiculous behavior.

Worse service ever. Steven was rude to me this past 7/16/16@7pm after I didnt want to pull up. I had a trailer hitchanded and no cars behind me. He said if I didnt pull up the light would turn yellow. Who cares? I just want to avoid someone hitting my trailer. He said hed bring the food to me but there was no reason for me to danger my property or create an obstruction. Im pretty POed at this time, because he gets my money and tells me to leave the property. I love dq worked there for a few years and in management now. I will never go to this Blanco DQ ever again. That was the worst experience ever so far in my life. .

Not good at all absolutely terrible if you find yourself in blanco save your hard earned money and drive past it. If you do stop there prepare for crappy service from the "high school" know it all crew that works there. Dont put money into the pocket of the district managers pocket a.k.a WADE that doesnt do nothing about it and sits on his but on his computer all day staring at customers that obviously havent been helped , and gets pissed off when employees are honest about if things are fresh or not. No buddy wants cold crap wade. Customers are more important than your paycheck for doing nothing.

If I could give this Dairy Queen location less than one star I would. My husband and I just left there without any of the food that we intended to purchase and without a single employee acknowledging that we were there. We stood at the counter for 10 minutes before walking out. One employee walked straight past us just to go pick up empty food trays off the trash can. This same employee dropped the trays off behind the counter and then proceeded to go handle food, neglecting to wash her hands. After seeing this during our wait we left and will never go back.

Very distressing. I was tired and hungry. Does it really take 15 minutes to cook a Hunger Buster? They brought my neighbors order to me and they apologized. 2 more cars got served and still I waited. I had just reached for my wallet to get the receipt and go back in to ask what the problem was when I finally got my hamburger. Again they did apologized. Im thinking they were too close to closing and maybe they had already started to close so they werent prepared but if that was the reason there were 5 cars that came after me.

Went in just today to get the seasonal special pumpkin pie blizzard. Arianna was the cashier who was working. She was impolite and unfriendly to us all. A friend of mine asked if they had sprinkles to put on her ice cream cone. Arianna replied by saying "No, this isnt Sonic!" in a very matter-of-fact attitude. Both of the blizzards we ordered were not mixed at all. There was only flavor in the first 1/3 of it then it was just vanilla ice cream. The worst DQ I have been to.

Just watched manager drop a bag of food on the floor reassemble it and put back then gave it to the drive thru... Who runs this place really every time we are we wait an hour whether its food or ice cream.... This dairy queen by far is the most awful restaurant in Texas. And still watching these workers handful food with no gloves or anything... Nasty nasty nasty....! Close this down and put a whatburger here please

These folks dont uphold the Texas Tea name, DQ is the spot for sweet tea, o went back to the store to give back the tea since it had no sugar, rude atitude from both cashiers, they proceeded to make another from the same batch, gross I ended up mixing my own, oh It took lots of valuable swimming time away from Blanco State Park, ended up paying again at the Sonic to get another sweet tea
