This place was a bit over the top for me. The building was cool, and I get what theyre going for. But I was passing through town looking for a simple place to get some quick coffee, and this was a bit too extreme for me and my family. They kind of tried too hard, with retail sales everywhere like pins, buttons, chocolate bars. And motorcycles parked on the floor. The menu was intentionally very different from your typical coffee place, and the prices were too much. After all of that, we were at least hoping the drinks would taste amazing, but they werent any better than any other place Ive been. They only had whole milk and almond milk, and the drinks tasted like coffee-flavored milk. We were glad we tried it, as "tourists", but the next time we swing through town, well try another spot.

Coffees are way too over priced!!!! For the price we payed you would expect great things yet little was delivered. No coffee should cost this much! It was early morning and there were only 3 customers who had all already been served yet it still took 10 mins, no one here is ever in a rush or moving fast. To top off the whole experience, the lady called our name and placed our coffees on the table and walked away, when we asked which coffee was which her very rude response (with attitude) was "you can tell the difference". If we could tell the difference we would have not asked in the first place! Ill go to Starbucks before I ever return here!!! (Go to JJs on broadway, much much better)

Big fan of Barista Parlor and I eagerly awaited the opening of this location as its slightly closer to me. The building slides in perfectly with the Germantown vibe and adds a layer of coolness to an already hip area of town. As with Golden Sound Barista Parlor location I love the bright airy open feeling inside. The beverages are top notch as anything is coming out of this chain. While all Barista Parlors feature cool motorcycles on display I feel that the bikes at this location are the most unique. Ive seen many different offerings from local bike builders in town on display here. I love all of these coffee shops distinctly but this is the location I find myself attending the most.

I was very impressed by the appearance of everything. I thought I had seen expensive coffee before, but this place takes the cake. A shot of espresso was $4.50, and it seems that all of this price goes to the ambiance and not the coffee. Served wholistically as a shot, cup of seltzer, and rectangle of chocolate on a wooden tray their coffee was gorgeous and deserves to be photographed. As a tourist in Nashville, it is worth it to go there and take some pictures and leave but not to purchase anything.

This location of Barista Parlor surprised me. I didnt get my coffee. I waited for a single order of espresso for over 20 minutes and left. IT was a relatively average Sunday. One cashier, two baristas. I started watching baristas from my seat after 10 minutes and it occurred to me that either the processes arent setup yet (since location is new) OR the staff is not trained well. Just a shame Barista Parlor focuses on design & price, not service/product quality.

I had heard negative rumors about this place, but really wasnt buying it at all. However, when I went, there was a sort of stand-offish feel from the person that took my order. I definitely felt that "snooty" vibe I heard about. Maybe it was just the people in the shop at the time but theres another shop in this area where the baristas are so kind!! I just dont see myself choosing this place when the other coffee shop is a couple blocks away.

The design of this laid back place is awesome, and they have some serious coffee equipment (among which two large Slayer machines). Although the espresso with milk is of high quality, I was quite amazed by the flavor of the poor-over coffee I had. The number and delicacy of the flavors were very well-balanced, neither too bitter or watered down. The price is pretty steep, but I considered it to be just worth it.

Fantastic spot to grab a cup of coffee and hipster watch. My rating is not a 5 out of 5 due to a gap in perfection of the food and the wait time for one of our beverages. Barista Parlour is also a great spot to pick up "artisanal" chocolate if you are into that type of thing (like my wife). Ambiance: 5 out of 5 Decor: 5 out of 5 Food: 4 out of 5 Beverages 5 out of 5

This Barista Parlor location is more bright and airy than the original while still maintaining cool vibes. Another plus is that it seems a bit less busy, and the staff are more helpful and less pretentious. The gentleman working took the time to step out from behind the counter and show me the tea selection. Ill definitely be back!

I really enjoyed their affagato with a shot of espresso and buttermilk ice cream. I was looking for a snack with a small caffeine kick, and this was perfect. The barista we talked to was friendly and have good recommendations about what we could do in the area for an afternoon (since we were traveling through Nashville.)

This place is really nice pretty steep for coffee so I wouldnt call it everyday but the quality was amazing. They have tasting notes with every coffee and I was amazed I could actually taste what was in the description. Definitely a weekend treat every now and again

Interesting drink options. Plenty of seating. Bright space. Worth trying. I ordered the Vietnamese cold brew, which had cardamom and lemongrass to go along with the coffee and sweetened condensed milk, all topped with a flower.

This location is a lot better than the East Nashville one. Its much more light and airy feeling. Plus, the location in Germantown is superior. The staff are nice, coffee is good, and seating is ample.

Dig this place. Love the ambiance and vibes in the place. The seating arrangements were great to showcase the baristas and watch the brew methods including cold brew.

Great coffee. Very clean and stylish space. Orders take a little time but they are usually worth the wait. Not very busy on a Friday morning before 9.

Great coffee but the staff are a bit slow. Sometimes more focused on admin instead of serving clients. The espresso makes it worth the visit!
