I went to shoot pool with a friend upon entry we werent immediately seated so I got the attention of one of the waitresses and was told to seat myself. Ordered 2 beers and finished watching the Cavs game. Our pool table became available about an hour or so later. When we received the pool balls back there was a big hunk of spit in the middle of it and I touched it and was completely grossed out made me literally vomit. When I spoke with the manager he assured me none of his staff was responsible but they will be investigated after last night and dealt with accordingly. All of us are not hoodlums or thugs and need to be treated with respect I feel completely disrespected and will NEVER patronize BlueMonkey again no matter where the establishment. Worst experience ever really loathe the hypocrisy of todays society and the fact that we still deal with ANY type of discrimination and not just racism. God Bless them for they know not what they do.y will be investigated after last night and dealt with accordingly. All of us are not hoodlums or thugs and need to be treated with respect I feel completely disrespected and will NEVER patronize BlueMonkey again no matter where the establishment. Seated quickly, but then literally sat and waited for 25 minutes before our waiter came up to take our order...saying, "oh man I totally forgot about you guys." Then took 30 minutes to get our food, and another 15 minutes for the side of BBQ sauce (which we were charged for without telling us it would cost extra). Then another 30 minute process of waiting for the check, waiting for waiter to pick up the check, and finally bring it back. Food was average, especially in light of the ridiculous waiting. First time there, super disappointed. Will not be going back.

Love the food and order there for lunch on the regular for our downtown staff. Yesterday, the female who answered to take my to go order was rude. I had a large order (for 6) and when I paused to ask about a side order for one of my colleagues, she raised her voice and said "HELLO?" She then put me on hold for several minutes..at which point I almost hung up. This left a bad taste in my mouth and as a result, I will look for other options in the future. "One bad apple can spoil the whole bunch..."

The service was ok depends on the night that you go. I went last Saturday night and my server was Arielle she was rude and not friendly at all. She didnt provide the customer service that I was looking for. Also, she continuously rushed us and brought us our ticket before we even asked for it. The Blue Monkey on Madison is way better than the one on Front St.

Was seated quickly, but then we no one to take our order. Waited for 20 minutes. Multiple waiters around but we were ignored. Had to go find a manager to get or order taken, still waiting on the food....and no it was not busy

I didnt realize until recently that this place does plate lunches (like a meat and two vegetables) every weekday. How did I not realize this sooner? Great lunch option downtown!

This should be a negative one star. The cigarette smoke hits u as soon as u walk in! We werent in there for a min and exited smelling like we were currently smoking cigarettes!!

I have lunch here at least a couple of times a week. The plate lunches are a great value, and the service is exceptional. It can be very busy, no wonder, but its worth the wait.

Very interesting decor...Stopped by for lunch and had a chicken wrap. Wouldnt say it was the best but it was ok. Does have a parking lot. Service was good.

The few times Ive been there the staff was willing to accommodate my gluten free requests with a smile. Also, their happy hour menu is great ;)

Foods pretty good..is a little pricey and is one of the few places you can still smoke in. They have bottled beer only no drafts :(
