The food was great, honestly 3-4 star entrées. But we had a customer service issue that bumped this little Thai place down. We had a starter, 2 adult dinners, 2 kids dinners and a desert at the end. I also had 3 draft improrted beers during the meal. Our 2 adult dinners were to be eaten with rice so one large container (about 2/3 full) was brought out for us to share. During the meal we ran out of rice, but we figured no worries! Thai food is always great the next day so we would just ask for some at the end (to go with the remainder of our entrées) and take away. At the end of our meal, we asked our server (a young white girl with glasses, not Thai) if we could have boxes and some rice to go. She informed us that the rice would be an additional $1.99 and we proceeded to explain that we had run out of rice as there wasnt quite enough with the meal. She stated that the entrées ONLY come with 1 scoop each, and that she would charge us for additional rice. This rubbed us the WRONG WAY. We spent $70+ dollars for the family meal, and we couldnt get a little extra white rice? I mean its only 2 bucks, but seriously? How much does a cup of white rice cost the restuarant? 15-20 cents? We wont be going back, its just the principal of the matter. -Josh

Little Bangkok is in my opinion the best Thai restaurant in Knoxville, and by quite a gap. Several really tasty dishes and they have a knack for getting the vegetables just right. Im a gluten-free guy and so often that is a challenge. Menu has mark-ups for gluten-free options. So many of the local asian restaurants still want to double-down with the salt or worse still add MSG. Not Little Bankok! My favorite dishes are the simple ones like the sauted Ginger chicken with vegetables or the Masamun curry with tofu or shrimp. I often order the Tom Yum soup and add some rice - delicious. The chicken with drunken noodles also deserves honorable mention. If you are lucky enough to have Eileen as your server, well then you are indeed lucky enough. She brings a wonderful energy to her tables and really knows how to talk through the food choices, sometimes encouraging one to take that risk on trying something unusual. A healthy and happy eating experience. :)

Update, went in 10 minutes before closing (1450, closes at 1500). Was rudly told by waitress "We close in 5 minutes". She needs to be told that if a restaurant posts hours to 1500, that is when they lock the door and take last customers. They just turned away business and i will not come here again while this attitude prevails. Its sad too, it is a good place. This is by far the best Thai in town that I have found. The pho is great at thai spicy, almost too much. The pad thai could stand be spicier though (even at level 7).

Little Bangkok is delicious and always fresh. The Drunken Noodles are great and so is the curry and Chinese dishes. The servers are usually great and very helpful. I do wish there was a better waiting area on busy nights when there is a wait for a table. The hostess is often busy on weekends taking care of carryout orders leaving the hostess stand empty which usually causes confusion among those walking in. Overall, though, its a great place for Thai food.

guess we wont be trying this place. Went in on a Sunday night, at 8:30pm to have dinner with my family. Sign on the door says they are open until 9pm. Went in, no one to greet me. I had to flag someone down to ask for a table. A man said they were closed. I saif the sign says 9? He said we closed early tonight. Nice way to run a business. Open when you want, close when you want. I guess you dont need money. Wont give you my time, money, or business.

Friendly staff, close to home and great food! Im a fried rice critic and this place knows how its done. Almost made my top 5 list. Also, the Larb Gai was excellent. Not many places get this Thai classic right. You know its authentic when you can taste the dried prawns in every bite. Little secret ingredient not often used. They even have the fish sauce with chopped up Thai cilis!

Been looking for a good Thai place. Tried Taste of Thai and it wasnt so good as everyone said. This is 2nd time eating here and yes the food is consistently good. Drunken Noodle and pineapple fried rice are one of my favorite. I also tried Ginger Flounder, one of their special and it was very good. Service is good as well. This will be my Thai fix place.

Consistently good food. I typically get the Thai or Vietnamese dishes, but my wife and kids love the Orange Chicken. Because of the variety of food, my family and I are always happy with their selections. The Tom Kha Kai soup is a must have. The higher prices prevent me from visiting as often as I would like, but I realize you pay for higher quality.

The food is good but the service has changed. The last two times we have been disappointing. There was one time we sat for twenty minutes before they came to take our order and tonight they had tables open but we would have to wait because we were a party of two and not a party of five. We left. Sorry but they have lost our business.

Excellent thai food. Their Tom Kha soup was delicious and their curries are great as well. I was hoping to try their Basil Roll, but they were out of them when I ordered. I asked for the curry to be "Thai Hot" but it was a little disappointing, really not much heat at all. The flavors were still delicious, nonetheless.

We usually eat here around twice a month. Dont live in Farragut but make the drive to this place. The food is without a doubt the best Asian cuisine in Knoxville and the staff is very friendly and attentive to thieir customers. Really cant say enough good things about this place! Just keep doing what your doing please!

Good variety of dishes on the menu with Thai and Chinese influences. Not a traditional Thai restaurant but they offer a modern take on many classic dishes. Service is good, although it can be slow when they are busy, but my experiences have been pretty good! Havent tried anything that I didnt like.

This popular restaurant has a clever way of letting diners choose the heat they want in their dishes: from one to five hot peppers are signaled to the server. Portions large so folks almost guaranteed a take-home second meal from each serving. Try orange beef and cashew nut chicken . . .

The wait staff was great and the atmosphere was amazing. My only issue was I ordered the level 5 Pad Thai and it barely had any spice. I eat ghost pepper levels. The waitress was amazing and brought more spice to mix in twice for me to get it decently hot.

Great food, portions are plenty, everything is fresh made to order, service is absolutely the best, so helpful and friendly. Definitely my favorite spot to eat out. I make the trip from Kingston just to eat here when I can or whenever Im in the area.
