That wasnt the textbook opening day for this restaurant. The opening day leaves a lot of impressions but in this case everything went down south. Lets Break it down Day1 opening Disaster - The chain claims to have 40 locations and is quite popular one, they should have calculated all the variables for the D-day. They have seating capacity of 47 and its no brainer for chain that popular to expect 47 customers rushing in as soon as door opens. I think it took on an average of 45 mins for everyone to get their orders placed ( reason : manpower issue on day 1 ). Multiple items were not available on the day opening and staff was all fuzzy about their own menu. Kadai Paneer - This is what I ordered with 2 butter naan. first there wasnt a Kadai for the gravy, it needs to be served in its dedicated bowl ( presentation issues ). Second, that wasnt really a Kadai paneer, that was base of paneer tikka cooked in tomato puree. and the portion quantity cant feed even a squirrel. Not a great biriyani fan, so cant give feedback there. tried veg biryani, it set my mouth on fire literally ( good news for people who eat spice level 9000 ) Billing - 2 butter naan for $8, searched for butter in them for full 5 minutes , then I thought I might have ordered the regular ones but I didnt!!! $12 for kadai paneer explained above. $12 for the biryani. with tips total came $40 for two. pretty steep price for what you get. While getting the ticket for the order I told my order to the person at counter, he asked me " the vegetarian Kadai paneer " and that was hilarious and I in my mind bro chili verde kadai paneer wasnt on the menu even. I will definitely make another appearance to this restaurant until I see the rating going above 4 with at least 50 reviews and will post the part-2 of it. for those looking for Indian Cuisine, Percys in Mt Juliet is light years ahead of any other Indian restaurant in the whole area. I apologize to the management of paradise for leaving all the feedback , but understand that you always need to have a stellar opening day and a glamorous 10 years anniversary. Truth has to be told for continous improvements. Like I promised, Updates from my last visit part-2 of review ( July-??-2017) - This restaurant cant improve, it cant, Im done. Want to have yummy yum yum Indian food, please try Persis in Mt Juliet.

They think they are the best indian restaurant out there. Definitely not true. They dont follow the rules. Waiter says we get a side of bread(in place of rice) for any main entree curries, then comes the owner and says they cannot provide bread as a free side for main entree as it costs more. Seriously? What are they upto? It is totally acceptable if the guy clearly says they cannot swap bread with rice rather he sounded very cheap saying it will COST them more. They are loosing their customers by saving on pennies. For any business, Customer satisfaction is more important than anything. The guy at the counter fakes american accent to impress the indian customers and over reacts with them which is unusual at any Indian restaurant. Not to forget mentioning that the appetizer was served after the main course. Prices are VERY HIGH. Quality is OK but other restaurants like India Cafe offers great quality at very affordable prices. Bread(Naan) is served for 4$ which is very very high. You better talk to other Paradise franchisees in the country and ask them for advise on how to run business customer friendly.

The menu that is shown on the website is not accurate. Several items shown on it are not actually available if you try to call in an order (though strangely, you can still include them when placing an online order). Also, the online menu does not include descriptions for any of the items. Also, when calling in an order, you can expect to wait at least 10-15 minutes longer for it to be ready than the time quoted when the order is placed. As far as the food itself is concerned, its reasonably good overall, though the price is a little high given the smallish portions. If they can at least get the website improved and have takeout orders ready in a timely manner, I can bump up my rating.

I had the Chicken Dum Biryani. Requested mild spicy. Their response was putting less of the masala (seasoning spice mix) which made the Biryani VERY dry. Much of it was plain white rice because there wasnt enough masala to cover it. I had the same problem with Paradise Biryani Point in Plano, Texas. The manager there, friend of mine explained that the Biryani masala is pre-made so their chef is unable to control the spicy hot and their response to mild is minimizing the masala which is crucial in ANY Biryani. Considering this is one of their signature meals, it didnt appeal to my palate. The flavor of the chicken was very delicious. They marinated their chichen very well.

I ordered a take out of Fish 65 and Chicken Biryani. I was told to pick up food after 30 minutes. Thats a lot of time for that order but I went to pick my food after 30 minutes but i was made to wait for 15 more minutes. Coming to food, the Fish65 was okay but Biryani was so disappointing. It was rice mixed with some meat and no flavor. They should stop calling themselves Biriyani Pointe. I will go with better choices of Bawarchi and India Cafe in Franklin rather than this one. The one star is because that is the lowest i was allowed and there is no negative rating allowed.

Coming from Hyderabad, India (home of the Paradise biryani) and having tried all the Indian food options in the town, I can vouch for the quality of the food at this place. Introduced biryani to several of my friends at Vanderbilt and at work, and everybody loved it. And the desserts - gulab jamun, double ka meetha etc. - are delicious. I generally dont write reviews and I am not affiliated to the owners in anyway, but this restaurant deserves attention. Beware, you might get addicted to the biryani like we did. Highly recommended!

I was very excited as its a popular chain known for good biriyani and dragged a few of my friends with me as well only to be humiliated. We waited ~50 mins after being seated and I had to go and ask them twice about where our food was. The host comes after 50 mins and says sorry it will take another 15 mins. We had to leave as we had a meeting. I would think they will have capacity to serve the people they seated. This is unacceptable. I hope our next visit I get to taste the food and experience better service!!

I wonder how others(few) had so bad experience. I visited again tonight and the experience was memorable. Ordered goat biryani, chilli baby corn and chilli chicken for two, and they were AWESOME!!! Very nice hospitality, particularly one of the partner(as he mentioned in the conversation) has great comm skills and knows how to deal with guests. I guess others may need improvement (i observed couple of them), but i love this place. I give this top rated Indian restaurant(as of now) in metro Nashville.

I discovered Paradise a couple months ago, shortly after I got a job working in Cool Springs, and I go there at least 2 times a week. I havent even bothered to look at the normal menu. All I get is either the veg or non-veg special that they offer every day. You get an appetizer, usually a soup, and then an entree - usually a curry and rice - two sides and a dessert. The veg option is 9.99 and the meat is a dollar more. The staff is polite, the restaurant is clean and the food is delicious. Go.
