Weve been going to this restaurant for many years. At the beginning - it was clean, the food quality was high and the service was very attentive and friendly. Over the past couple of years, or so, the new management team has completely lost its way. Today, we foolishly thought we would give it another try - after having a recent series of sub par experiences. Years ago, you would walk into their small waiting area where beautiful Koi were swimming under a fountain. Today, youre greeted with tattered, handwritten signs, giant gum ball machines and various other vending machines. Years ago, you were greeted with a genuine smile by the manager - thanking you for coming again. Today, the managers processes you like you were in line for a flu shot. Youre lucky if they make eye contact with you. In short, Canton is now a relic of its past. It now feels like an institutional food trough for tourist. Food quality and service has plummeted. Its really sad. The final straw, today, was when I was paying our check at the front counter. As I glanced at the check I noticed the server had charged us for their dinner buffet price. However, the normal seafood and premium items, consistent with their dinner routine, were completely absent from the buffet. I explained to the manager that we arrived at the restaurant around 4pm - and now that we had completed our meal - they were just now beginning to reset their buffet with their premium entrees and seafood. I calmly told the manager that we should be charged the lunch price - not the dinner price. Rather than quickly apologizing and adjusting the check, he then proceeded to rationalize why they should still charge the dinner price. I then said, "you know that isnt right". He then rolled his eyes and said he would make the change "just this time". At that point I was essentially held hostage by this condescending young "manager (half my age) - for quite some time - as he held my money and rambled on about why he was right and I was wrong. It was one of the worst displays of customer service that I have witnessed in 40 years. I was speechless. Never again will I step foot in this place.

Vast selection of options and good sevice. Sushi seemed very good. However the hot food bar quality not as good as used to be...very greasy and warmed over. All the chicken dishes seemed to use the fatty and skin parts to make them go further. Many of the dishes also used too much seasoning or sauces which I feel is to mask the texture and quality of the ingredients. Overall fine if you need a quick lunch and are selective in choice but many dishes are missing the mark. I wouldnt pay the extra for the dinner buffet version given these conditions.

Service was good the food left alot to be desired, it looked good, looks can be deciving, some of the shrimp smells good & tasted ok others (out of the same tray/pan) tasted spoiled and smells bad any type of seafood that goes bad is nothing to mess with it can be deadly or just make you ill my co-workers and I will never go back. I guess by morning Ill know if Ill be ill or be able to go to work or not

I went to the bathroom before going through the buffet and happened to see one of the cooks come in at the same time. After using the bathroom, the cook went back into the kitchen, WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS! I immediately left and will never return. I am highly disappointed because I have come to this restaurant often and always enjoyed the food.

Management is very unfriendly. Restaurant is dirty and maintained very poorly. I have been a couple of times, hoping the next trip would be better than the first, I was wrong. I would not recommend this restaurant. Food is typically bland and flavorless, or should I say, almost everything tastes the same. Much better options are available.

Service was okay, guy seemed rushed. But expected on a Friday night, fast delivery though. My husbands Mei Fun was yummy but my combo chicken and mixed veg. Had no flavor. I asked for garlic sauce but it lacked garlic, spice, and salt. Crab Rangoon was cold. Probably wouldnt order again.

This restaurant is pretty nice just seems like a normal Chinese buffet but the food is a better-quality most of the meats are not too fatty Like most other restaurant the fish is not Mushy like most other Buffets . The pricing is perfect for lunch and is a great place to bring your kids

I went in at 7 on a Thursday and got a buffet to go. It was sooooo bad, I threw it away. I called to complain and they said they could give me a credit for 10%. I said dont bother - I am NEVER going back!!!! By the way Panda is now Canton Buffet (in the Kroger parking lot).

They have always had good quality food when me and my wife go. We also get TOGO from there occasionally and they give you sooo much food. The shrimp fried rice is great and the shrimp they use really are bigger than the avg Chinese restaurants.

The food was decent, but the refried beans were obviously overcooked and from a can. Service was a little spotty - had to get up twice to get a spoon and then to ask for the check.
