Real southern food, so if you liked it fried you will be in heaven. Fantastic food and friendly service. The table fixins (coleslaw, hush puppies & white beans) that come with the meal will ensure that you leave very, very stuffed. If you dont order food there will be a charge to eat the table fixins, but the charge is worth it. The fried shrimp were fantastic.

This is a nice little place with pretty good food. The only down side is that they do not allow substitutions for anything. All kids entrees come with fries & you cannot sub greenbeans or any other side item for the fries. This place has pretty good food but you will NOT find anything healthy on this menu.

My favorite restaurant in Dayton. The service is so good it is almost annoying that they show up to the table so often, but that is not a bad thing at all. Let me tell you about the food. I love catfish. I love hush puppies. I love sweet tea. Ellies does all three, and they do it well.

Oh My Goodness!! Best white beans, best cole slaw, BEST catfish filet - wish I could tell you about the peach cobbler but Id literally POP if I ate another bite! Unexpected treasure hiding out in a Dayton strip mall...Go ... you wont be disappointed!

Our Service was HORRIBLE. Food was O.K. they wanted us to leave because it was twenty minutes til closing time. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
