To say they dont care is an understatement. The service was slow. The tables and floors were filthy. The menu had misspelling. We had to asked to have a table wiped down (multiple times). No one even acknowledged our table of seven adults and two children for about 15 minutes. My BLT had unripen green tomatoes, lettuce that wasn’t cleaned. The stalk hadn’t been removed and a very minimal amount of bacon was present. Just enough so they could claim it was a BLT. The potatoes skin were about the constancy of a hockey puck complete with sour cream from a to go tube. We had to ask for our bill and when it arrived the restaurant had the guts to charge for ice on a Crown Royale! Two drinks were $11.00 and then $3.00 for ICE! I have never been so appalled in my life and recommend everyone save themselves and go right past this place.

The Sunset Grill is in a great location along the Ohio River on the KY side. Sitting outside and eating and watching the boats ply the river is calming. Lots of outdoor seating and live entertainment weekends during the summer. The Sunday brunch is worth the drive, however I hate to say it but breakfast has not been that good of late. Its gone down in quality for our last few visits. Hence the three stars. I cant speak for lunch or dinner since we havent tried them yet. We will though and post our thoughts. The grille also has a hotel, RV camping and sits adjacent to a full service marina.

After waiting for "53 min." for the food to arrive,,,,VERY dis-appointed! A shrimp-cocktail ($7.99), 4/5 small shrimp on some wilted lettuce!? A order of cole-slaw ($2.99), about a 1/2 cup!?? Come on people, get your act together,,,,this use to be a great stop on a motorcycle-ride, on a beautiful Sunday!! NO MORE, Im afraid!!,,,, If it wasnt for the "kitchen-Mgr", trying to get the orders out and delivering them "Himself", We may have STILL be waiting to eat!! Sad deal here, use to be a decent place to enjoy a meal,,,,NO MORE! TSTOCK, Cinn.,Ohio.

Food is average , service isnt very good at all ordered hoagies with mushroom sauce took over 30 min. To get & the waitress explained it took so long due to them messing order up & remaking it but as soon as I lifted up my bun you could clearly see it had pizza sauce on & it was scraped off to put mushroom sauce on still had pizza sauce on it & burnt cheese when I showed them & asked for manager I was told they didnt have one , clearly the hoagie wasnt remade it was just scraped off & new sauce had been added , who does that!

They were busy when we arrived and the waitress said it would be 30 minutes. She was very pleasant. The problem was others diners came in as much as 15 minutes after we had and had their food eaten and left before we had our food, then they ran out of one of the things we had order. We had been patient but finally pointed this out to the waitress. She couldnt explain what happened. We paid for our meal and left. I hope this is a one off problem but we would not recommend it.

Decent food and the grilled brugers were good (as per my dad) We arrived on a Sunday and there were a ton of bikers there. We found a place on the side deck, as there was prevalent smoking on the main deck and inside. Service was semi slow, Margaritas were semi good and the price wasnt bad at all. Less than $90 for 4 adults and 2 kids. jThe location on the river would be nice, except its the Ohio and its not a very good view.

Pretty bad. Ordered a simple breakfast (an omelet) and it was not good. Had a very strange texture and aftertaste. Even the coffee was undrinkable. Cleanliness is obviously not a priority with this restaurant, as the bathroom was filthy and a peek in the kitchen area confirmed it. The best I can say is the service was friendly and the view of the Ohio river is great. Unfortunately, I can not eat a view.

Grilled talapia and grilled veggies were delicious. Sitting outside with the breeze coming in off the river at sunset with good company at your table enjoying good food at good prices great way to spend an evening. It was busy so we had to wait about 35 minutes for the food but that is about normal for good cooked food when the place is busy, it is part of dining out :) Would absolutely go back again!

Nice location along with Ohio River. We decided to enjoy the outdoor patio. It was a little busy apparently, food was delayed, waitress apologized and took half off our bill for the inconvenience. Very grateful for the reduced bill. Food was fair, the view included not only the river and beautiful scenery but also a few bug covered camping trailers right along the patio.

Overall good experience. Great location on the Ohio River. Food good, most days service is good, however, weather can change crowd dramatically- which can result in staffing issues. When you have a sunny and beautiful fall, spring or summer day this restaurant will pack out causing slower service.. however most days adequately staffed. Definetly worth a try.

We have been going to Sunset grill for many years and always enjoyed the food and setting, service was always good too. Last night I was less than impressed with the service and the food. Very disappointing! We got there just before 7 and finally got our food around 8:10. Waitress was not very pleasant and getting drink refills took quite a while.

We will not be back. Our waitress was scatterbrained as hell. My niece didnt get her food. The waitress went back to order it again and 15 minutes later she still hadnt got her food. What food we did receive was over cooked and very small portioned. For the price they charged it was ridiculous and we will not be back.

Beautiful view of the river and wonderful service. Our server, Eleyna, was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The food is very well priced and fresh made. The see-through kitchen brings a fresh and vibrant feel to the place. Highly recommend visiting! Try their Sunset Reuben. Its delicious.

Like to stay at Belterra but do not care for the buffet or other food options. We have found a solution The sunset grill. Friendly waitresses reasonably priced good food. Ate here for lunch and breakfast. Will definitely be back!

We wanted a one of a kind type of place to eat and take a break from driving and oh my goodness, we nailed it! Food was delicious, service was great and the view was awesome! I definitely suggest checking this place out!
