Deceiving. I asked the cook (lady) what she recommended and she said the Monterey Chicken Panini, it read great on the menu - I made my choice. Monterey Chicken Panini: chicken stuffed with prosciutto, monterey cheese, chipotle sauce... The sandwich arriver and I took a bite, Though the chicken was clearly pre frozen kind it tasted good, not the best and likely a bit too over prices for what it was. Then i noticed it had no Prosciutto, so I went to the Batista and explained regardless whether the Prosciutto is stuffed or not I could not find it. She left to grab the cook. The lady couldnt of cared less about the misguided menu and said "people around here never noticed", then she said she decided to stop carrying the item. And she said this in a very rude manner. I then said that my problem is that the cost of the 7$ Panini , is now over priced as the rare aged ham is still priced into my order. She grabbed a dollar, I insisted I did not want it, she threw it at my table. Go elsewhere! This place does not deserve your dollars, now I have seen it all.

We were looking for a good place to eat in Carrollton while here on a business trip, and saw that this place had high reviews so thought wed give it a try. It was 8:30 when we called and they said they closed at 9, but that we should come on out. We were there till 9:20 eating and it was all cool. The people were nice and friendly and the setting was a unique eclectic cafe environment. The food was reasonably priced with interesting and unique food combinations. We had the spinach dip with homemade bagel chips (thin toasted bagel slices with butter) for an appetizer, and then the deluxe pot roast (flat toasted panini-type sandwich with cream cheese, onions, pot roast, monterey jack, avocado, tomato, olives, sprouts, and vinaigrette), and gargoyle sandwiches (pot roast, mushrooms & onions, gorgonzola cheese, baby greens and vinaigrette in a pita). Everything was very tasty and were glad that the food was healthy-minded. The pot roast is homemade and slow roasted in Guiness beer and spices - very good! Try them out - you wont be disappointed.

What can really be said about the Corner Cafe. Chris and his restaurant are Carrollton icons. I love the food. I love the staff. I love the atmosphere. So if you didnt already know how awesome the place is then why dont you start living right and go get something from there to eat. Allow me to make a suggestion. 1/2 Black Bean burger and 1/2 Garden of Eden salad. Get a cup of ranch and a cup of ginger sesame dressing and put both on the salad. DONT BE SCARED! Its freaking delicious. Proceed to sop up the leftover dressing with the included focaccia bread. When youre done eating everything and you realize you have no one to thank for the experience go back up to the counter and tell them you wish to buy a meal for the kind stranger on the internet that suggested you eat there in the first place. Ill check up there from time to time and I WILL be hungry.

This place has a nice charm and atmosphere to it. I ordered the "Rosemarys baby daddy" and it was very tasty! My only complains are that I wish they offered more sides to chose from. The only sides they offer is potato chips (Lays, Ms. Vickeys) which is unappealing and you have to pay extra just for chips. Would be nice if they offered pasta salad, fresh fruit or something other than chips. Our waitress was very friendly but I could tell she was very stressed and overwhelmed because they were under staffed. Wish they would hire extra help to maybe clean the tables and put a sign up informing people to seat themselves. Other than that it is a nice place to grab a bite of lunch.

Absolutely Love It!! We go here so often that I couldnt say how many times weve been there. It gets super busy at lunch, to get a table you have to be there by 12:15 or else youll be waiting. The menu is full of great sandwiches. Has a very "hole in the wall" feel or in this case "hole in the corner". Very kid friendly and the prices arent bad, yes you could get cheaper food somewhere else, but the originality of the food makes it worth the little extra. You do need to have a bit of time since they get so busy, through it all the wait staff is happy, helpful and hoppin. Definite go to!!

The wife and I stumbled upon this hidden gem when we brought our niece to orientation at UWG. Its literally in a corner so we drove past it a couple times. We were going to try another place but Im glad we came here. The menu had something for everyone and our food was excellent!! I had the Deluxe Pot Roast and the wife had the Black Bean Burger. The homemade focaccia bread is the main reason well be back. The service, decor, ambiance, and music was all right up my ally. Smiling faces everywhere... especially ours. If youre ever in the area, youve got to try the Corner Cafe

Some very well developed sandwiches coming out of this kitchen. However, prepare yourself for a bit of a dark vibe, with some angry and/or busy waiters, a messy/old/dirty feel, overstimulation for your eyes with their huge murals, and a very loud dining room during rush hours. Prices seem high given the low-overhead vibe of the place. For lunch it costs less to go to the Brazilian restaurant around the corner and get a fun Brazilian sandwich with salad and drink for $5.95.

Been living in the area for about 5 years. Been coming here every Sunday during that time. Came in this Sunday to all dirty tables. Had to ask to get a table cleaned off. Had my drink taken then proceeded to sit for 14 minutes as waiters and waitresses went by our table multiple times and no one asked for our order. After 20 minutes we left as apparently talking about pokemon go is more important than my order. Will only go back under extreme caution.

Unique sandwiches and salads with unique names like "Rosemarys baby daddy" . Great for both meat lovers and vegatarians alike. GREAT pizza at night. Good beer and wine selection, no liquor - a 20 year staple on the Carrollton square with an eccentric dive" feel-, lunch crowds can get long and an hour for lunch is likely going to get stretched. Generally, very well worth it!

Amazaing meal and great price for Halibut in a wonderful cream sauce, with cheese grits, mashed sweet potatoes and fried Okra. The okra wasnt greasy and soggy it was perfect and the entire meal was down right awesome! I will be back the next time Im in town. Great place with wonderful and helpful staff! Probably the best meal I had while in town that week for a work project.

Being a vegan/vegetarian I often have a hard time finding places I can actually eat at, until now. This place was like a secret garden, kinda hidden but what an awesome find. The vegetarian chili was delicious and the Mr. Willow sandwich was Devine. The prices were reasonable, and the customer service was exquisite. It was worth the find. P.S. park in the back.

If you cant find something you love here, just go home and crawl under a rock. The food is top notch. Funky atmosphere and vegan, vegetarian options. Fresh homemade ciobatta bread for the super creative sandwiches and always friendly service. This place makes eating healthy soooooo tasty. I recommend the Rosemarys Baby Daddy. Mmmmm
